Seriously. What the fuck?

Well done to Alex and his friend. They really cleared up a lot of concerns I had about their show, Florida is a Big State. You can't argue with that title!

Dearest Alex Fan-Anger,
I realize your episode has already been recorded, so I guess I'd just like to know how it went. Was it life-changing, earth-shattering, or all three?

Hi everybody! Longtime lurker, second-time poster. Y'all heard the new Blur album? It's really good!

I think Joey Tortellini would get along very well with Don DiMello.

Wait, Hayes is gone?! WTFuck is happening here? I haven't listened yet but I reserve the right to be outraged in an uninformed manner.

There's some grade A silliness going on here. Thomas Middleditch is a force of nature.

This was so goddamn silly and I loved it. You can hear how much fun they were having recording this.

I'm loving these ads with Sean and Hayes. I hope this means they'll be on CBB soon.

That outro is one of the most touching things I've ever heard.

I haven't made it past the Intro yet. But I'm so sorry, Scott. And thank you for releasing this episode.

This is so difficult. I want all of this to be some terrible dream. I have been sobbing for some time. I can not stop thinking what a tragedy this is.

I am finally crying now. I feel like a friend has died. Oh my god please let this be some kind of sick joke.

I just can not fuckng believe this. I can't even imagine how those close to him are feeling. As shaken up as I am over this, what they must be going through is unfathomable. He contributed so much to CBB and Earwolf, can they even go on after this?

I'm really having a hard time believing this. Through CBB and Parks and Rec he's brought me years of joy. I feel terrible for Scott and everyone else in that comedy community who clearly loved him. My thoughts are with them all.

It was weirdly thrilling seeing Adam talk about this podcast on Letterman.

I've listened to the R. Shrift segment of this episode three times now. Pure magic.
Also, Claudia is an absolute delight, have her back as soon and as often as possible.

I'm not a U2 fan, but I can at least understand why people like them. Scott and Scott's love of Billy Joel, however, I find utterly baffling.

I love that Bill Callahan and Will Oldham were mentioned, and I'd just like to point out that the British movie 'Dead Man's Shoes' features songs by both of them. It's a terrific movie, and the only one I know of that Bill and Will have allowed their songs to be featured in.

I couldn't possibly choose a favorite episode, but this would probably be in the top 3. The melancholic loveliness of Bazan's songs contrasted with the hilarity that sprang from them. Very special stuff indeed.

Yeah, the Atlantis sketch...holy shit. One of the best in this show's history for sure.

Episode 446 - Scrounging and Lounging

There's a round of "My wife"s in this episode that ranks among the very best, partly because it's such a rarity these days.
