Great clip from The Midnight Special featuring the comedic stylings of the Kentucky Fried Theater.
Â
Â
Â
For those of you who don't know the Kentucky Fried Theater, it's the comedic stylings of the Zucker Brothers, David & Jerry, along with Jim Abrahams. Included in the sketch group was the ever brilliant and late Stephen Stucker.

Jake,
Another great episode.
Â
You were asking the question in regards to the 'What's Happening!' episode with the Doobies, on why they were playing in the Jefferson High School. The episode states (if I recall correctly) that the Doobies were former students of the high school and wanted to give something back. But what's odd is that the setting of What's Happening takes place in Watts and yet the Doobies are saying they were bootlegged in Los Angeles....da fug?
Â
But you forgot the best quote from that episode... "Which Doobie You Be?"

I'm just going to drop this in your lap. Imagine Lenny and Squiggy, but with Nigel Tufnel. That's where it STARTS. Enjoy. I still have this whole album memorized.Â

I'm down with Lenny & the Squigtones

With all the horror postings (great job The-Mrs_Krinkle!), I think we need a little science fiction
Â

Â
Starcrash!
Marjoe Gortner! Christopher Plummer! Caroline Monroe! David Hasselhoff!

Oh man, Howard's city planning and sidewalk talk.....fucking hell, I broke a rib from laughing so hard. What did he concoct in his juicer that morning? Kremer in fine form.....
-
Love the quick Fernwood Tonight discussion, please go more in depth with that sometime Jake. That was a really funny, odd show that would never get on tv today, especially in the nightly format. Too bad there's no dvd for America or Fernwood (well, legitimate dvd).
Â
Very much a shame, as well as it's a shame there's not DVD or BluRay for 'History of White People in America' as well.

Thank you Jake for have the criminally underrated Fred Stoller on the Files. Fred's appearances on the Earwolf network (this and Los Bros Sklars) are like having an extra slice of pie for dessert but not filling on the meal.

Eddie f**king Pepitone!
Â
Thank you Jake for having Eddie on the podcast. I've listened to it twice and lost my shit twice....
-
Another epic episode!
Next.. Analyze Fish

Lordy, lordy. Couldn't listen to the whole thing. Sorry.
Â
Agreed. I love Who Charted but I had to stop it halfway through the Movie Chart.
Maybe I'll go back to it some day. I like Steve-O, totally nice dude once he cleaned up, but I just had a little trouble listening to this.

I was an extra on that film, I'm glad I made the cutting room floor!

LOL!
2000 EXP for that piece of awesomeness!

I just want to know what changed the fifth time that made him say "Yes!" and then commit so hard to those crazy monologues.
Â
I'm sure it was the truckload of money that was backed to his home the sixth time that got him to be so inspired.

Speaking of Mondo Video...
Â
Â
But yes...Chris Gore was probably the worst guest.

If you haven't seen Race With The Devil, you're missing a truly brilliant film...

Great write-up. My dad was one of those few adults aware of the show's existence, and we probably have a few episodes on dusty Betamax tapes somewhere. I know the show's theme song still lives in the back of my brain.
Â
Edit: and let it live on!
Â
Â
Theme done by Mr. Danny Elfman. My friend worked on that show. I have a couple animated cels from it.

Brother Theodore... always a good clip from this monolinguist, comedian, janitor, actor....

'Jaws is Life'.....priceless.
Â
I need to make a wooden sign of that and every Kremerism for 2013.
Â
Love it you guys!

Federated was an old electronics chain in the 1980s here in Southern California. Radio DJ legend Shaddoe Stevens was Fred Rated (who actually created and produced ALL of their commericals). They were insanely good, and just brilliant. There were well over a couple of hundred of these. The person that put these up has a slew of them in batches...
Â
Enjoy!

Freaking Epic!
Great ending to 2012. Thank you Sklars

This is probably the best Post-Christmas gift I've ever received. I'm on my second listen right now and Howard is in brilliant form. The Connivers story might be the best thing ever; I was laughing so hard on my couch I scared my boy cat who was sleeping on my chest whilst I was relaxing.
Â
Thank you for having Jessica St. Clair on Whooch. She's been one of the best guest on the Earwolf network and with Howard... christ, my sides hurt. And Kulap's just sitting there taking it all in... 120 minutes of glorious podcasting!
Â
CONNIVERS COME!

John Mikl Thor! Fuck yeah!
Not only was he a bodybuilder, rocker and actor (a must see is Zombie Nightmare with Adam West and Tia Carrere), he had his own comic book he created...utter shit.
Â
Hell, when he was scoring Zombie Nightmare, it was called the Thorkestra!
Â
Â
Triuly an awesome clip!
The show kicks so much ass, Jake!

Hearing Brody Stevens on any podcast makes the world a better place and puts a smile on this Chartist's face.
Â
Totally made my day hearing this at work; a post Hannukah gift for the Christmas season!
Episode 28 — VHS Nostalgia
in The Fogelnest Files with Jake Fogelnest

Another great episode, Jake!
Â
I remember that news broadcast when David Horowitz was held at gunpoint. I looked at my brother and sort of freaked out seeing someone held at gunpoint. What a great after school treat, eh.
Â
BTW, is it me or does Rodney have a Jaime Gillis Meets Joe Mantagna looking vibe to him?
