Did you see what I said back in the recommendations thread??? Yes, pretty much like Blast Hardcheese said in page 5 the movie is really "The Forgiveness of The Furious" I get that... But while I was watching the movie I was Furious (nailed it!) that there was no mention of Han who was the revenge driving force of the last movie (sorry if I keep repeating this in a lot of posts and threads) they made the Helena reveal work and also with a trow-away line and a 2 slide power point set up that Cyper was the mastermind/puppet master behind the bad guys and their plans in parts 6 & 7, so all I'm saying is show Han a little love in 8 I'm calling it now... If they bring Han back in 9 they will reveal that Han knew that Shaw was comming for him, or that he faked his death with Shaws help and was "Ghost Protocol" to fool Cypher and that the bomb that blew the Toretto Cali House was sent by Cypher... But that still will not explain Hans body/corpse (much like the also unexplained fake Letty corpse from F & F 4)

Another 2 Omissions (sorta) ... *As Paul said in the F7 HDTGM episode the audience questions and the gang predicted Charlize and Helen Mirren in F8.. But also what Paul said about the Universal high contact info about "not losing fights" in the cast contracts was also true (Prison fight between Hobbs & Shaw = Draw, Letty fighting that bearded mustached stuntman from John Wick 1, Equalizer, Jurassic World, The Accountant = Letty Wins "In a propeller fight, the propeller ALWAYS wins...", Hobbs against 2 or more = Hobbs wins, Roman alone in the ice against like 6 dudes = BOOOM! Headshots! x 6 Shaw + baby against Cypher's plane goons = Double Win) *In part 6 the actor who played the Shaw crewmember named Jah was from "The Raid: Redemption" he kicked Han's and Roman's butts at the Underground station and back then Jason spoted him, In this ep. he wanted the fighting style from those films in the series from now on... And I'm with him

*LOOONG POST WARNING* Omission: *The gang did not discuss the Charlize/Vin kiss in front of Michelle Rodriguez... I MUST KNOW... did June liked it??? lol *After the Cuban car race, when Dom and Letty are in bed it seemed to me that the script/movie was planting the seed ( so to speak ) so that when at the end Letty is introduced to Dom's + Helena's baby she (and to an extent the audience) can/have to be cool with it, because he asked her in bed if she was going to say she was pregnant but she answers that although she was not preggers she definitely wants a baby with him/give him a baby (something along those lines) down the road, so Dom can have a father/son relationship similar to the Cuban father and son they where talking in spanish about using boat parts to repair their car engine (also making it sound like she just does not want to carry a baby in her belly for approx. 9 months right now. I wonder if the makers of F&F just didn't want to turn Letty into Mia number 2 by getting her pregnant and killing her character with motherhood, as June would say... Maybe?... I dunno) Now Reply-o-Rama Time! Also in F7 Mia gets pregnant again Yeah, and Jason has the same curly hair as Ramsey!!! When I went to see it the theater was packed and n the Charlize/Vin kiss there was a collective audible gasp ( Again... why was it not talked about in the episode? ) also there was a huge cheer and applause when Dom revealed his sons name at the end. It also reminded me of the "Transporter 1" fighting style wich I love. Get the God's Eye Maybe? I don't want this to sound nitpicky (but I know I will) I just didn't quite get that from what the 8th movie showed us. Also Jason Statham's epic monologue/speech to his comatose brother from the hospital scene opening of F7 is pointless if he was really seeking revenge on Cypher (Granted they had not written part 8 yet but still) For me it was a thing that could be fixed by mentioning/acknowledging/honoring Han in some way and actually showing how Jason Statham was being controled by Cypher in the Tokyo Drift scene much like Dom had his car hooked up to cameras and GPS and was being ordered by Cypher via mini screen to do stuff or else... Yes, also that! Kind of like the ending of "Dodgeball"??? (I know in that she turns out to be bisexual) Acting wise she was fine but for like 80% of the film she seems so unaffected/unphased and cold hearted, and in the airplane headquarters pulling the strings so, IMHO, I missed her skillful and resorceful, no nonsense, multi-layered, hands on attitude her Furiosa character had... #adjectives P.S.: I disliked the fake NYC rooftop B.B.Q. skyline C.G.I. effect... That's the risk of having High Definition imagery, some things are so perfect and detailed that the eye knows that is fake (I know they can't shoot on location because people in the adjacent buildings can/could see them shooting the end scene)

Correction... Chris Morgan has helmed the scripts since the 3rd movie in the series (F&F: Tokio Drift) so to recap, 6 of the 8 "Fasts" have been written by the same person

Thank you for the info... I'm trying to recall a pleasant heckling moment in the theater... I'll post it when I do, but the worst was a guy at the seat beside me ( who when I arrived was in my seat ) during Deadpool who, much like a parrot, repeated/yelled back every punchline that Deadpool said during the entie running time and then laughed obnoxiously all in my right ear. And to make matters worse, during the extra scene after the credits another dude happilly recognized the Ferris Buller refference but couldn't quite remember the name and the guy besideme rudely yelled: "Shut Up!" when he was talking loudly during the whole thing...

Also I noticed that there are no new topics for the last 3 or so episodes

Do you mean that she didn't do much/could of done more in her parts 6 and 7 cameos??? And speaking about that... I saw parts 5, 6 and 7 again before going to F8 premiere and in part 7 in the hospital scene Elena is Furious with Dom's question about her well-being (like she somehow knew that Letty and Dom had broken up recently and he was maybe trying to rekindle their Furious 6 affair in Spain for me that was a weird choice because it seemed like they had ended things in a civil note) and she changes the subject suggesting they go se Hobbs A.S.A.P. but a beat later when Hobbs daughter has her line about Luke "kicking Dom's ass once" her attitude changes and she is all smiles... ( My theory when I saw it for the first time was that Letty would not come back after the tombstone scene and that the Rock was going to die and Elena and Dom where going to get back together and raise Rocks daughter) BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT knowing what we know about in part 8 something inside tells me that her attitude toward Dom is had something to do with the things we learn in part 8 and screenwriter Chris Morgan (who has single-handedly wrote every F&F movie since Tokyo Drift) had that part planed all along

Saw HSM yesterday and I'll probably revisit some scenes to add to my notes before monday

I've said it in another post... For me the only thing that this movie did wrong was...

His acting suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuked in the first scene he was in, then it got a little better and reached bearable levels by the end of the movie...

Late realization is late... When I noticed that this movie invented foam parties 40 years ago

I have more notes but I want to go over them again before posting them... In the meantime I'm going to leave you with this CRAZY BONKERS BANANAS video (there are 2 more parts. That one is part 4 but & are also about The Lake House) I found while looking for clips of the movie on YouTube. The video is some conspiracy theorist saying how the mailbox in the movie is a "butthole time machine" (a "male box") and he decodes the sodomite programing and hidden messages of the movie in a "serious manner" with monotone narration. This awful awful movie remake was NOT an original movie but a copy of a South Korean film so theres no way that the producers of the movie where part in any conspiracy (other than scamming people out of their money and time when it came out in 2006 Nailed It!). I've had this link on standby since I found it like 2 weeks ago but now I think that because in this episode Paul and Jason talked about butts and penises and said "Dog is God backwards" it makes all of this even more crazy, surreal and funny... Please if you see the video share your thoughts I'm curious to know lol 100% SERIOUS DISCLAIMER: There is a loud horn sound at the start of all the videos in that account fast forward to 11 seconds to skip it. Maybe there are REAL conspiracies out there. I do not wish to be mean to the man in the video or his beliefs I only want to share this piece of unintentional comedy with this forum. Also, if you like "Back to the Future" in any way DO NOT click/watch the other videos in that channel about BTTF because it may ruin your viewing experience of the classic trilogy from now on and I would never EVER want to do that to any of you.
