Corrections / Omissions Fast 6
IMAHUGEHDTGMFAN replied to Ricardo Fandango's topic in How Did This Get Made?
Also in the first 3 movies of the franchise they always made a BIG DEAL about it, with race scenes between American Muscle Cars against Modified Imports (The last quarter mile drag race between Vin Diesel and Paul Walker in the 1st movie, In "2 Fast, 2 Furious" Tyrese Gibson and Paul Walker win a tag team race, they drive import modified cars against muscle cars for their pink slip and in "Tokyo Drift" they use a 1967 Ford Mustang base frame with a Nissan Skyline engine... Best of both worlds) Han is actually a character from Justin Lin's second feature film "Better Luck Tomorrow" and he smoked a lot in that film so he must of quit between films http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0280477/ -
Excellent episode!!! 3 quick things... *POSSIBLE SPOILERS* *In the first movie Dom and his gang stole dvd's and merchandise from truckers in the highway *Almost ALL of the post credit sequence is taken from "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006)" but now we learn that Chev Chelios used its lighter to set Han's car on fire (So maybe he was alive after the crash but he definitely died after the fire) * Michelle Rodriguez's character Letty contacts Paul Walker and agrees to infiltrate and collect information in exchange for clemency for Dom in the 4th movie "Fast & Furious" and is "killed" but then she is revealed to be alive at the end of "Fast 5"

When I read your comment I pictured Paul setting up a tape recorder like Johnny in "The Room"

My "The Happening" experience... By Maximiliano Ruocco R. I was at the movie theater almost 5 years ago some time after June 13th 2008 I tell the ticket guy I want 1 ticket for "The Happening" he tells me they are "SOLD OUT"... So I Buy a Ticket for "The Incredible Hulk" and after 15-20 minutes I "go to the batroom" only to sneak into "The Happening" Before the movie started I was super exited about what would be the latest M. Night Shyamalan's twist??? Aaaaaaaand then the movie happened... Now I don't sneak into movie theaters...

There was some META humor because Paul played the trailer in the mini episode and the actual episode... Then before the episode begins he says that the studios AC is out of order and a Fan can be heard in the background. So during the entire episode I kept thinking in the SpiceWorld "I need a Fan" scene LOL

Episode 54 — The Odd Life of Timothy Green
IMAHUGEHDTGMFAN replied to admin's topic in How Did This Get Made?
Yes you 100% are right ("Requiem for a dream" is in my favourite movie list along with the "Back to the future" trilogy I've only seen "Flight" once and I loved it that time) I didn't want to get into to the endings, the reason for that is that when I recommend movies I just say "I loved it" , "I liked it a lot" or "I didn't liked it" because I found out in my experiences that when somebody says "That movie sucks" or "That movie is very good" it raises or lowers expectations, and sometimes it makes you not wanna go see the movie altogether or you get into discussions with your friends or co-workers because they said it sucks and you actually got the film and found it to be excellent Tim said that he flipped off the screen at the theater (I blame the trailer and the marketing of the film), maybe that causes some people skip the movie because they trust his opinion, and maybe some will see it out of curiosity, but I want to see the movie again with friends adn/or family so I can get into the little details and hear their opinions... I liked what Paul said about the first 20 minutes and the last 15... that's the abridged version Bottom line, Personally I don't want to tell you what to think about a movie before you experience it, the chances are if you ask me about a movie my responses will be "Go see it" or "I have it, I'll lend it to you and you tell me what you think" -
Episode 54 — The Odd Life of Timothy Green
IMAHUGEHDTGMFAN replied to admin's topic in How Did This Get Made?
Oh, I forgot... I loved, LOVED the DRAMA movie "Flight", the acting was top notch (I enjoyed Kelly Reilly 's performance, I forgot she was from England ), It reminded me of "Requiem For A Dream". Personally I don't think it should be featured in the podcast, but ultimately I don't mind because I bet it will be a funny episode if it does -

A very good point... My father hates the "Toy Story" movies, he always ask "Where is Andy's Dad?" rhetorically -
Episode 54 — The Odd Life of Timothy Green
IMAHUGEHDTGMFAN replied to admin's topic in How Did This Get Made?
Yeah... Morals and the inevitable "Death Talk" with your child on the ride back home :S There are good "Parents Guides" to movies in IMDB.com where they lay the scenes out in categories as: *Sex & Nudity *Violence & Gore *Profanity *Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking *Frightening/Intense Scenes The link below is the guide for Bambi... I don't think it conveys the chilhood destroying power of the film though... http://www.imdb.com/...2/parentalguide -
Episode 54 — The Odd Life of Timothy Green
IMAHUGEHDTGMFAN replied to admin's topic in How Did This Get Made?
I haven't seen "The Odd Life of Timothy Green" yet and I don't have kids of my own but, when you guys describe the movie I get the feeling IMHO that recent Disney films as well as family films from other film companies are being written with complex morals ( Things are just not simply good or bad anymore ) as a revenge ( or "middle finger" if you will ) to the parents in the audience, so that the little kids get the funny/silly slapstick physical comedy parts and the parents get the message: "Right now, You may or may not be a BAD PARENT. Check Yourself" For example... The old school Disney film morals where straightforward enough and aimed at the entire audience IMHO * "Pinocchio"s moral was "Don't Lie" * "Beauty And The Beast"s moral was "Beauty Is Inside You" and "Dont Judge a Book by it's cover" * "Finding Nemo" had a messages for both the Kids and the Parents... For the kids: "Sometimes, father knows best" For the parents: "Don't overprotect your children" In 2012 I've seen 2 movies with somewhat harsh messages for the parents Sony Pictures Animation's "Hotel Transylvania" and Disney's "Wreck-It Ralph" *POSSIBLE SPOILERS* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * In "Hotel Transylvania" Dracula overprotects and lies to her daughter Mavis and forbids her to leave the Hotel even after she is 118 Adult Vampire In "Wreck-It Ralph" Ralph a Vintage Video Game Bad guy makes a deal with an orphan Little Girl to help her but after someone else gives Ralph the reward he wanted without any effort he betrays the deal he had with the little girl, because in his mind he knows what is best and is trying to save her... ( The other message in "Wreck-It Ralph" was "Labels are bad" "Don't let anybody tell you who you are" ) I can only imagine how parents feel and what they are thinking after sitting through these movies and when they get home their children or teenage kids are like "You are over protecting me! You can't tell me what to do!" LOL In other news tomorrow I will go see "Wreck-It Ralph" in 3D for a third time Thank you for reading my post I really REALLY want to know what you guys think... Am I right, am I wrong or am I just scared to death of having children -
For the "Corrections and Omissions" Department 2 Things in the Gigli episode 1° I really want to know if you guys got the sneezing penis joke callback? Justin Bartha who plays Brian tells Ben Affleck that when he watches Baywatch his penis sneezes, but I think he really means that he ejaculates ( In the episode June and the female guest didn't know if penises actually sneeze or not because they are women... Penises don't sneeze ) But theres a callback to that setup, after Ben and Jennifer have sex Ben looks at his penis and says "God bless you, penis." because he just "sneezed" 2° The ending where Justin Bartha A.K.A. Brian goes to the Baywatch set and finds an Australian girl who is nice to him an he falls for her is a culmination of the long-distance call setup... Brian likes to call to an Autralian weather hotline and hear the female voice of the machine and Ben Affleck looses his shit because long-distance calls cost money... That explains that ending I had to get it of my chest because thanks to HDTGM Gigli scarred me for life I don't even have to slit my wrists like that lesbian did in the movie lol I only watch Gigli again and fill my pain quota for a year Can't wait for the Twilight episode with Doug Benson this Tuesday!!!!!!!!!!

I dunno if anyone has said this but... My theory is that Ricky's father is the brother of Peter and Angela's father, who then left/divorced the Aunt doctor Martha after his niece's and brother's accidental death, then the Aunt doctor Martha got the custody and took Peter in. Then becuse she already had Ricky (a son) Peter was transformed into the NEW Angela and I think the blackroom flashback scene where Peter points at Angela's chest is the memory of a posible incest and the fear that the NEW Angela has that she is going to get both discovered as a boy and raped by Paul ( In a similar way she did to her sister when he was still Peter ) What do you think?

Guys can you cool it down??? Maybe they made a deal with Lennon Parham and Jessica St. Clair and said "If you do this podcast with us, we plug your show" I personally think is better to do it in the mini episode than in the actual full episode, but that is just my opinion Remember time is money... Also.. Paul and June have said there married before in the "Twilight: B.D. Pt.1" episode ( Paul said as a joke that they were waiting for the 10th or 15th wedding anniversary to consume the marriage. Also June and Jason had an argument about Bellas agency or lack there of, Maybe that is when someone got the idea that they were married lol ) and I recall another episode ( I think it was the "Punisher: War Zone" one ) where Paul talks about "Piranha 3D" and he tells the story when Junes father saw the film thought it was porn... So the fans of the podcast already knew they were married...

I saw Abduction and the trailer is the cliff notes version of the film... My advice is... don't watch it unless you have absolutely nothing else to do for 90 minutes
