    Episode 32 — 88 Minutes

Wow!!! I discovered that there are 2 versions of this horrible film, the one used/viewed for this podcast that has approx. 111 minutes of running time and the one that I saw that has 108 minutes ( I saw the Brazilian or Portuguese DVD version ). The main difference is that the one I saw has a completely different shorter intro and an extended ending compared to the one you guys saw... The differences are... *"The Family Room Entertainment" Logo is replaced by the "E.F.F." logo for Emmet/Furla Films. ( The only logo I recognized was "Millennium Films" from such "modern classics" as: Righteous Kill (2008) with Al Pacino, Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call - New Orleans (2009) with Nicolas Cage, The Expendables (2010) with a lot of Hollywods action stars, The Mechanic (2011) with Jason Statham, Drive Angry (2011) with Nicolas Cage & Trespass (2011) with Nicolas Cage to name a few, and some of those have even been featured on HDTGM LOL ).</div> * The "Twin asian girls in underwear" intro scene is not included at all and is replaced by a party/bar scene where we see Al Pacino dancing and drinking with the Naked Yoga Girl who he wakes up with and is later murdered ( My guess is that the "Twin asian girls in underwear" intro was shot but cut from my version to make it seem like Neal McDonough who plays Jon Forster was framed by Al Pacino testimony and is innocent and then reveal that he is actually guilty and pulling the strings from prison in the end when he calls Leelee Sobieski but Al Pacino answers her cellphone and breaks it, but because I didn't see "Twin asian girls in underwear" intro nor the courtroom scene this creates a plot hole and somewhat increases the confusion of the viewer :S ). * After party/bar scene ( We see snippets of it through out the movie ) there is a montage of evidence from the murder of Al Pacino's little sister followed by a black screen with a digital clock font "88:00" that fills the screen and zooms in until it fades to white then we see the water plane, the space needle, but the title where it reads "9 years later" is removed, then the movie picks up its continuity and we see Al Pacino waking up to the sound of Bubba Sparx - Ms.New Booty. * I found the last difference near the end of the film, when Al Pacino throws the cellphone he stands there but without the 2 flashbacks ( His sister with a kite and the Asian surviving sister in his office ) he picks up the recorder and puts it in its pocket the FBI guy nods in a closeup shot, later we see a wide shot of agents the FBI guy, and the red haired student played by Alicia Witt as Al Pacino leaves, then we see a close up of dead Leelee Sobieski followed by Al Pacino and Alicia Witt talking in the hall of the College and he says admits to coaching the surviving twin with her testimony it was to secure the guilty verdict, then Al Pacino goes to the Auditorium where his classes are held and tells his students that Jon Forster has been executed and we the audience see the execution via lethal injection, he continues to say that this is not a reason to celebrate and that the pain caused by the loss of a special someone is something that nobody completely overcomes but that you learn to live with as time goes by ( Maybe he was referring to the death of his sister ) then he continues his class by asking a question and then the movie ends, in this version the credits last 5 minutes (1 minute less than your version ) I think this movie is a bad ripoff of Copycat (1995) and Insomnia (2002) with some elements of the T.V. show 24 and the voice from Saw I didn't intend for this post to be this long so if you read it in its entirety... THANK YOU!!!
