Love Paul Provenza - Green Room was like a compact podcast of comedians shooting the shit. Was looking up Northern Exposure and ran across this pic of him on Facts of Life!

Thought it was funny how coy (?) cagey (?) Nick was about the "dating" question...It is readily googlable, and I remembered hearing about it when there were initial rumors but didn't know that it was still an ongoing thang, They make a great couple!...Anyhow, great to hear Mr. Kroll who has been too busy for podcasts lately. His show is really funny and it has been interesting to see how they developed the characters in the second season, so I highly recommend checking it out...

Glad they zoned in on the best line of the movie and the name of my new band the kLinikal kUntz I was also happy to hear that Romero was on a bottle a day with this film because that explains a lot, I think, about the disjointed nature of this "film". There is probably a decent horror/thriller story there but it is all very half-baked and muddied-up here. I think the "hostitude" did a great job of trying to tease out all the weird relationships and character motivations. I think it came out, but I just thought that his character was a rich-boy law student at a school like USC and chose to live in the 'hood - he was renting that house by himself, no? Only thing better than this show are its fans! :wub:

My level of hatred towards this movie slowly rose to a fever pitch by the end...and then I heard the director's commentary and wanted to punch his quaaluded face! Maybe he dipped into Mariah's stash also... "Magical realism"? I guess that could be used to explain every ridiculous point in the the film. I'm glad they brought up how there was not even any mention of contracts...Also, Padma's voice was absolutely horrible. Sure, Terence Howard's character realized Mariah was a better singer but how could he have even thought that Padma was a good singer in the first place? Oh yeah, he's a psychopath... The use of Grandmaster Flash's "The Message" was particularly grating although maybe there is a point of relevance with: "Rats in the front room, roaches in the back" Roachbags? Maybe it was supposed to be douchebag but the censor dinked it?

I don't think I ever listened to the other best ofs but this was fun...Reminded that it'd be great to hear Zach Woods again but he does seem rather busy on the televisor. His immediate decimation of the poor intern is truly a classic...

I watched this after seeing that Lennon was the guest and totally saw him in a few roles also! The dookie-feur was Paul though, right down to the toupee and glasses... Huebel would be great as one of the underlings and of course June would be great as Samantha. As always, love all the added facts and details from you guys! ♥♡♥♡＼(◎o◎)／！★☆★☆ And we are going to get another Hulkster movie on top of it?? It's not xmas but...Santa with Muscles?
