Great episode! I almost forgive you for making me watch this crap. FWIW, the version I watched had a shot of the assistant leaving the bathroom with the camera giggling a few minutes before Faison. Also, you didn't mention the numbers but Wiki says it had a budget of 10 million and grossed 60 million...so a stupid sequel might be in the cards....

Great episode! Funny to hear some bands I actually have heard on the charts. Definitely not the best songs by Ty Seagall or the Oh-Sees but if Ben was into the Cramps he could probably dig on them...There's a ton of other bands that inhabit the nether regions hinted at by those bands...but it is certainly dark and dank and mostly "lo-fi"... Also: Cambodia Definitely an amazing destination. I was there for New Years 1999 - in Angkor Wat - and it was incredible. I have been to Giza and Teotihuacan, and Angkor Wat is definitely on the same level. If you get to SE Asia- don't miss it!

Looks great! Those T-shirts should be mass produced for the masses! I heard the story behind long after first listening to CDR/CBB and it had me in stitches...I think it is in the free part of that episode, so everyone should check it out. (Season 7 or 6 of NNF??)

The Wahlberg clips on youtube make me think its worth it for the incredibly deadpan delivery of Wahlberg...Is it only these few scenes or is it chock-full of this good badness? -
Looks great! But are you sure the whole thing isn't a meta-parody (Matt Besser would not approve!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqz2rejJS6M "the trailer for the blockbuster Stephen King movie" Where is the ACDC tuneage?

Great show!! I am on a boat I chartered out of the Florida Keys and am blasting some Jimmy Buffet to get me in the mood for my lifestyle after I scoop up the Nazi gold! It's in the belly of a great white with a GPS monitor I accessed via a code word I twittered to Nick Kroll...Eat it suckers! You can come visit me on the Caribbean island I will be buying with that 150 MILLION in gold that I will soon be caressing with my short fat fingers!!

Wow- great episode! I thought the animal might steal the movie like the previous one but it was just too over the top, maybe even more so than Azaria...I shudder to think what seeds those scenes where the cat gets abused has planted in the little heads that are viewing this...Did you mention the use of "Back in Black" for the showdown scene when the Smurfs imitate NPH's little neck cracking? I enjoy your show so much but always get a little depressed afterwards about how Mencken's famous line is still so true ("No one ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public.") as shown by some of those, er, positive reviews you read...and this POS is getting a sequel??

I was thinking that I would probably switch this thing off midway but it is a testament to the two that the whole thing was very entertaining...Mr. Wittels: you really have your work cut out for you...I am probably not as broad listening as Mr. Aukerman but if I want prog, I listen to the Mahavishnu Orchestra - no lyrics and the playing far excels Phish...If I want funk, then I go to the source, Funkadelic or even DC Go-GO; that hipster ironic nonsense funk songstering was borderline racist...esp. over shitty overwrought whiteboy bass lines...If I want hippy jam band psychedelia...well, there's Hawkwind....Seriously though, it was a great listen. The second part should devote some time to Scott trying to get Harris to see how Roxy Music is infinitely better than Phish!

steve said: I am fairly certain that Sandy Bullock bought an exorbitant amount of hotdogs from Papaya Dog at 3 am and ate them in the dark while crying and watching the bloopers of this movie on repeat. _______________________________________ lulz....or when confronted about J Lo overtaking her in the romcon dept., SB replied, "I'm already eating Papaya Dogs around the clock!!!" BTW- the dog was the only one that made me laugh here and totally reminded me of Jackie Kashian's (she'd be a great guest) bit on LA pet owners:

Yeah, dittos on the DLM TOC- I didn't realize that it was Cox and kept wondering, "Who is just nailing Edgar Wright??" Of course...I think they asked him to do it like a day before...Would love to hear an Adomian v. Cox showdown if Mr. Adomain ever makes it back to L.A...

I think it fits well also. Is it by Hard and Phirm? Like their Doug Benson themes, I can easily picture some cool animation going with it well...

Yeah that sounds like some pure stink...Nothing like Sandra Bullock spouting pseudo-metaphysical BS. IMDB has some choice dialog snippets: Linda Hanson: I wake up and he's dead. I wake up and he's alive.
