Great list esc_key, so many of those are HDTGM worthy. Wow, Superbabies appears to have ended Bob Clark's career. He had Karate Dog come straight to DVD after it, but with filming schedules it was probably in the works before Superbabies came out. I know A Christmas Story is sometimes on the IMDB top 250, which makes me wonder how many directors have (or at some point had) a movie on both the IMDB top 250 and bottom 100 There are also two sequels to these films (and one even has Voight in it)!!! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2150163/ http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2287238/

I'll have to track that down. Season 1 of Metalocalypse was so good, even my wife who does not like metal and didn't get the majority of the references liked it. Season 2 was spotty and 3 was weak I didn't even bother to set up my DVR after a move for 4. I did see them perform a couple of years ago though and they were really good and funny.

Personally I only really enjoy musicals from Trey Parker and Matt Stone and some from Troma because they are usually poking fun of the tropes of musicals. I also like to joke about wanting to write Grim and Frostbitten: A Black Metal Broadway Musical. Just 'cause

Doesn't that essentially describe all musicals?

When I watched the premiere of TD season 2 and John Carter pulled over dumb blonde I had a sudden nervous tick. And there is a commercial where they play a song "We are young" that is in French in the American version that gives me flashbacks of the Paris scene every time. I can't escape this movie.

Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans (2009)

I'm just glad that Jason gave us the expression "Thank God That This Got Made" to describe movies like this. -
I am not exactly sure what even constitutes and "indie" film anymore. I think you could include Tiptoes or Gooby in that or even the first Sharknado. I also don't know that you could even really say that there is a type of movie that they do, the only things that they haven't really done are Criteron and Oscar winners (although if they have done something that won a technical or soundtrack Oscar I wouldn't be surprised), but they do like to experiment. But that said, the OP was unnecessarily harsh in their expression of their opinion of this film that one of the hosts was proudly promoting when it came out.

Honestly I have not seen this movie, I just somehow managed to stumble upon awareness of its existence and have wanted to see it. This trailer makes it look pretty insane.

I don't know, there is a Christian movie with Chuck Norris that looks pretty fucking insane:

I think that I have this movie combined with Assassins in my head.
-
Such as The Room or Birdemic?
-
I don't mind if they switch up the release schedule so long as there is a weekend between the mini and the full episode, as was the case with this one.
-
I think it's probably just that Paul will be on vacation or working and would rather prerecord the mini than delay it.

I liked Chronicle, but the further along the movie got, the more the self-filmed premise seemed clunkily shoehorned in. I mean they are fighting in the sky and still somehow feel the need to co-opt cameras to film what they're doing?
-
And yet somehow M. Night Shamalan keeps getting money to make movies

Wait, this is tagged with "nin" is there some Nine Inch Nails tie to Surf Ninjas that I am unaware of? Did Trent Reznor get his start with movie scoring with this movie?

What I like about foreign films is that since it is made by a certain culture for that culture you get a window into how they see themselves rather than Hollywood cliches of that culture. I get that some people don't like having to look at the bottom of the screen the whole time and it does detract having to read the dialog, but the gain is always worth so much more IMO. Plus I definitely pay much more attention to foreign films since there it's impossible to fuck around on my phone while reading the screen (unless it's a bad foreign movie)

Wow, this guy has done a lot of iconic voice work. Maybe the problem is that he is constantly making noises and mixed super loud so it's really off putting.
-
I really really wish that there was footage of the foley artist recording the sounds for the dog.

Funny, I'm watching this on Encore right now and I noticed that the font was different. This version appears to be the shorter one. Well I am already paying a shit ton for these movie channels and am not going to shell out $4 for a few extra minutes of a bad movie.

While bad comedies are generally no fun, the exception to that seems to be kids movies. There's always that extra factor of "you thought kids would respond to this?" or "you thought that this was appropriate for children?" factor that other bad comedies don't have.
