Terry Crews is one of my favorite human beings on the planet. That's all I wanted to say.

Well I am working from home today and Gamer is on IFC in 30 minutes so I might as well. They are currently playing Rock 'n' Rolla, so they must be doing some Gerard Butler theme, maybe GoE will be later on in the day, Edit: It's apparently only movies with Gerard Butler and Ludacris
-
I'm going to be an Episode 3 Obi-Wan Kenobi (my wife wanted to do a family theme and Star Wars was the only one that she could get me to commit to. She will be an Ewok and our son will be Yoda.)

Did Dreamcatcher already expire from Netflix? Well it looks like it's on Amazon Prime. I swear this movie is like a digital hot potato and jumps from streaming platform to streaming platform.

It's finally happening. I would post a happy gif if all image sites weren't blocked by my company.

I don't know about this, on the one hand it looks pretty self-aware of its own absurdity, but on the other it looks like it is trying really hard to have a message

You guys, Jim Steinman wrote all of the music for Incubus.
-
It is available on Crackle through October

Damn this movie is macabre, one of the plot points involves an explosive hidden in a little girl's walkie talkie. It might almost be too inappropriate for kids to even make fun of.
-
This one is probably off limits for now given what happened to her over the weekend. I do sincerely hope she has a speedy recovery.

I saw this Cracked article and was just about to suggest this movie http://www.cracked.c...-you-never-saw/ This movie sounds insane and dark for a kids movie, kind of like Top Dog:

If you have never seen any of his Danish work, the Pusher trilogy is free if you have an Amazon prime account. They are not nearly as style driven as his English language work, but much more story driven.
-
Honestly, I haven't been terribly impressed with Refin for a while. I loved the Pusher trilogy and enjoyed Bronson and Valhalla Rising (despite many problems with it). However I thought Drive was overrated and the dialog was awful, Only God Forgives had some nice visuals, but that was about it and this looks to be similar. I will still see Neon Demon though.

I liked The Fall, it made me cry.

When he announced Vampire Academy, I thought "is this the one where Jay Baruchel is Nicolas Cage's assistant?" I clearly combined The Sorcerer's Apprentice and The Vampire's Assistant and confused it with Vampire Academy.

3 fictional characters Michael Bolton, Phil Dunphy and Nathan Explosion. Sorry that it's not Lando Calrissian, Lando Griffin and a third, yet to be determined Lando.

I forgot that this version existed! When I think of French sword fighters, those four are exactly who I picture.
-
Wow, that is awesome! I expected nobody to recognize the name and just think it was weird.

Nice, I am going to check these out later. Japan must have the most vibrant music scene in the world that is also the most isolated from the west (or at least the English speaking west)

Round 2: Between The Buried and Me - White Walls (all 14 minutes of it) Muse - The Gallery Ice Cube - I Wanna Kill Sam (Those first four Ice Cube albums still hold up and in a tragic way, still feel just as relevant as ever) Devin Townsend - Seventh Wave Social Distortion - Bad Luck Eazy E - We Want Eazy (I don't think Eazy holds up quite as well as Ice Cube since a lot of his songs are hyper mysogynistic and homophobic, but damn he could put together a good song) Nine Inch Nails - The Fragile (I don't know how this is the first NIN song on here. They are one of the top 3 bands that take up the most space on my iPod) Bauhaus - Silent Hedges Genesis - The Brazilian Oceansize - One Day All This Could Be Yours

Hah, I said I was "horse." Thanks! I feel like I have been constantly sick with little viruses and stuff the past 7 months of having a baby in daycare. I know that there are a lot of people that get angry about BABYMETAL for some weird reason. It's easier than ever to not listen to something that you don't enjoy. I like a couple of their songs, I have heard their latest album is pretty good and have been meaning to give it a listen. Someone posted a montage video of the bands from the backup members of BABYMETAL and several of those bands sounded interesting. I like some Visual Kei artists like Dir En Grey, but Japanese music is really expensive and hard to come by in the US.

So this morning I woke up with conjunctivitis and have been shaking off some sort of chest cold so I am pretty horse and not feeling my best and not in the mood for singing along. Here's my EDI playlist: Dio - Last In Line Mastodon - Trilobite The Eagles - Hotel California Oceansize - Sleeping Dogs and Dead Lions (anyone that likes Muse should check these guys out. This is not their best song, I would highly recommend . IMO they should have been all over the radio in the US, but just never got the exposure. I hope that they're one of those bands that reunites to discover that they are bigger than they were when they broke up) Ozzy Osbourne - Goodbye To Romance Mindfunk - Billygoat (Weird, underrated semi-psychadelic grunge) Megadeth - FFF (great song from a mediocre album) System of a Down - Revenga Radiohead - Karma Police (I think that people are often surprised to find out that I like Radiohead. Or at least not so much Radiohead as I think OK Computer is a fantastic album. I find most of their other stuff to be hit-or-miss, mostly miss) Hammers of Misfortune - You Should Have Slain Me I am a bit surprised that I had no rap show up, no Snoop, no Eazy, nothin. I thought I had more of it on my ipod, but that's how it goes sometime. I am already going for another 10.
-
I'll have to charge up my ipod and give it a shot tomorrow. Right now I only have access to my spotify account and a lot of that is stuff that I have marked to listen to later.

That probably describes me more than I would prefer. But that's probably more of a relic of my 20s than any genuine concern for other people's tastes. But I would bet that my elitism would find Jonah Raydio's elitism scoffable.
