    Trance (2013)

This is definitely one of my least favorite Danny Boyle movies, but I think he has enough good will built up to forgive this movie.

    Coyote Ugly (2000)

He's referring to Lost & Delirious and I am not gonna lie, I teared up at the end of that movie.

    Coyote Ugly (2000)

This movie is like Crossroads meets Roadhouse (Crossroadhouse?). I like to think that a young Tom Brady saw this movie and decided that one day he would father a child with the angry one. I would love it if they got Kaitlin Olson AKA Dee from Always Sunny and Alex Borstein (who are both in it briefly) to guest on this film

    Wild Things (1998)

Was there ever a worse idea than the reversible DVD where one side is widescreen and the other is full screen? I ended up flipping the DVD over twice because the menu on both sides is 4:3 and it's confusing as fuck. I feel like in the year 2048, if someone asked what the culture was like 50 years ago you could show them this movie and it would give them a good idea of what people wore, listened to and what slang was used. If nothing else this movie is a time capsule of the late 90s. However, the future person would also think that people in the late 90s were dumb and easily entertained. I think that the earlier Ebert quote describes this movie perfectly; the dialog is stiff and full of non-sequiturs, the characters behave in any way that suits the current scene and not in any consistent manner (At the beginning Matt Dilon's character acts like he doesn't want to bang Denise Richards even when nobody is around) and I have no clue how this scheme is the least bit workable.

    Botched "Expendables 3" Title Art

Is Machete Kills any good? I haven't gotten around to seeing it yet, but I remember it not being as well received as the first one.

    Botched "Expendables 3" Title Art

I didn't see the 2nd one. I saw the 1st one and was disappointed. I thought Machete did what Expendables was trying to do much better.

That tagline should be "This time...they're paying off back taxes"

    Botched "Expendables 3" Title Art

Damn, that's a pretty awesome botch. I remember when I saw the trailer for this movie they were giving the list of big name action stars in the film and it was like (paraphrasing) "Stallone, Snipes, Schwarzenegger, Lutz, Statham" Really? Lutz? the guy who was in the dump month Hercules? He is supposed to be a draw?

    Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky

This movie is amazing. It's like a cross between an Italian horror film and a Kung Fu movie and dubbed by Matt and Trey of South Park. The foley artists had a feild day on this film. I like that they state that by 2001 all prisons have been taken over by corporations, but for no real reason other than to say "this prison is fucking crazy because...coroprations!" This movie makes the Cranks look bush league.

    Entrapment (1999)

I had a similar experience except from returning from Iceland in '98 except that I got to choose between Batman & Robin and Speed 2. I watched about 5 minutes of Batman & Robin until Clooney air surfed down from the batwing into the sky light of a wareshouse and said to Mr. Freeze "Hi Freeze, I'm Batman" and immediately switched over to Speed 2 and watched the rest of it.

    Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky

I started watching it too late in the evening, so I decided to start it again tonight. I'll watch the youtube dubsub version

    Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky

Watching now for the first time. I remember it got added to my list along with Ichi the Killer and Versus and after this Versus will be the only one left I'll have to see.

    Wild Things (1998)

Yep, I own this movie. I am defintiely going to rewatch this movie this weekend, which will probably be the first time that I have watched a DVD that I own in at least 3 years.

    Wild Things (1998)

I think that there is a strong possibility that I grabbed this from the $5 bin at Wal Mart a long time ago.

    Wild Things (1998)

This thread has me asking myself if I had seen Now You See Me when I was 18 if I would have thought it was a good movie? I hope not.

    Wild Things (1998)

I should re-watch this. I remember seeing it in the theater when it came out (I was 18) and thinking it was great but so few movies from my teen years hold up
  17. Would Joffrey be Screech?

    The Life of David Gale

I always assumed that this movie was good. There's this post-metal band that I really enjoy that uses quotes from the movie with a great buildup and the two seem to fit together really well:
  19. I think you mean "a very special episode"
  20. I hope many of these things make it into the movie: http://www.11points.com/TV/11_Most_Scandalous_Saved_by_the_Bell_Revelations_in_Screech%27s_Autobiography

    Guardians of the Galaxy

Prediction time: Will week 2 GotG beat out week 1 TMNT?
  22. They haven't brought in an insider in a while, I would love to hear someone tell stories about Screech being a total douchebag but I can't think of who would be the best cast member to have on the show.
  23. Ok, yes, I know that this movie is on the IMDB top 250 and in the 30 years since it was released has became one of the iconic films ever made. I am by no means suggesting that it is a bad movie, I do think it's somewhat overrated (but still enjoyable) and it is dated, but my opinion of the movie aside: A - It is BATSHIT insane. We all know some of the lines such as "Say 'ello to mah lettel fren" and "I bury those cock-a-roaches" but the only thing higher than Tony's bodycount is the pile of cocaine on his desk, and murder is treated as casually as a leisure suit from Tony's wardrobe. B - This is Pacino at his Pacinoiest, but it's the role that we all overlook because it's one that we expect C - What other movies can you name that stop in the middle to do this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1fa8-6BIFo Now, do I expect the gang to do this movie? Not really, I think it's too iconic and I bet Paul and Jason have some fond memories of this from their youth, but I wanted to at least get some discussion about this movie here.
  24. I didn't bump it, joel_rosenbaum resurrected it just to say that it wouldn't make a good episode.
  25. This sounds amazing
