Gotta relisten to this episode. I watched the movie this weekend and all I can say is "wow" (but not in the good way)

Holy crap yes! I love it when you get people involved with a movie on the episode. I didn't think Splice was bad. It was an interesting thought experiemnt, but I felt like they had a hard time figuring out a good way to wrap it up. However, I do think it is a crazy enough movie that it would be fun to hear you guys talk about it.

I have not watched it yet, but everything I've heard is it's a completely HDTGM-worthy movie. While it's free to some would be a good time to do an episode on it.

I agree with Cobra, it's the quintessential "loose cannon" cop movie.

Unless of course you guys are friends with Jason Lee

Would a bunch of white people watching a Tyler Perry movie miss the point, or would they be good fodder for critique?

The fact that Tommy keeps changing his answer of how he got the $6M makes me wonder if he is more of a Denny in this story than he would like to admit.

We'll just have to disagree. Still don't you think it could be an entertaining episode?

How do you explain the prison scene? Most of those criminals are there because he put them there, they all know he is bulletproof, super strong and can fly and yet they still try to intimidate him!

I like how Warwick is itching to make more movies in this series. I wonder what other ethnic groups they can stereotype. Maybe Leprechaun in Chinatown, Leprechaun en El Barrio or Leprechaun Occupies Walstreet.

I think what happened at the end was when Butch blew the clover smoke into the fly girls' faces it broke the Leprechaun's curse, so the end he is just reinstating the curse.

If you get a chance, you should watch the documentary about the 1st one; Overnight. It's incredibly entertaining.

Do you or any of the others on HDTGM have any sites (IMDB for example) where you keep track of ratings of movies you've seen? I'd just be curious to see how you felt about various movies.

The piano teacher reminded me of the creepy EMT from Children's Hospital.

Maybe this movie is actually a meta masterpiece in that it's supposed to be shitty to reflect the shitty nature of a high school student's creative writing.

I think South Park covered this perfectly.

Gothika, Devil or The Happening would make good Halloween HDTGMs.
