    Episode 9.3 — Time Crunch: Day 3

Thanks to @Scott and @Jeff for all the replies throughout the forums. The little reminders that you guys are just as passionate about producing these podcasts as your wolf pack is about listening to them is really nice to see. I think I would have been one of the angrier posters if my favorite (LDDC) had packed their bags & left the kitchen this week. I understand people's feelings about the judging, but I don't envy the judges in having to make the decision. Also, it seemed obvious that Doug and Harris had listened to earlier challenges and were more familiar with the competitors, which seemed to make them better judges. Their criticism was much more constructive and beneficial than admiring TL's 'college radio voice' or LDDC's accents. I know it'd be tough to get permanent judges for next season, but I think it would help improve the educational benefits, both for challengers as well as other podcasters listening for advice/inspiration.

    Earwolf Commercial Breaks

I think I remember Jeff saying on the Wolf Den (with Hardwick?) that they have those breaks so in the future when they get advertisers, there will be a clear break in older podcasts to drop the ads in.

    Episode 6.3 — Sketches: Day 3

I feel like the novelty of 'asking the most important people the least important questions' is starting to wear off, and it's unfortunate for Totally Laime that they can't rely on sketch to pump up their show. It could be because of their accents that I like them so much, but the Little Dum Dum Club seems to have the most consistent charm and humor. And their schtick of being a couple of goofy friends hasn't worn out. They are the only podcast in the competition that I've downloaded full episodes of, too.

Episode 29 — Who Is Baratunde Thurston?

I would pay for a premium membership if it meant getting the podcasts a day or so early. I think it's just a simple way to get donations, and could be just enough of a perk to get a lot of loyal listeners to subscribe. Maybe include a coupon or something for the store? Buy one shirt, get the second half off? It'd help clear out some inventory, at least. Also, I think it would make sense in the 'commercial' part of each show to have more crossover and feature an ad from another Earwolf podcast. It would help get listeners more informed of other shows and have a better idea of what else there is on the network. Maybe even have that show hype an upcoming guest, or Paul Scheer tell what the next movie they'll be reviewing will be. But it could just be bits, like the Prof. Blastoff ones, so they won't be outdated for people in the future going through the catalog.

Harris Wittels Needs His Own Podcast

Analyze Phish was hysterical, and I can't wait for more Earwolf Presents!

    Episode 1 — Analyze Phish

I think this year's auction for the LA Foodbank needs a trip to a Phish concert, with Harris, and lots of drugs. Also, that No Shoes, No Shirt, No Cell Phone Service shirt needs to be in the store as soon as possible. Pretty much the only Phish song I like is Farmhouse.

What should Earwolf fans call themselves?

did the Hangover ruin the chances for Wolf Pack to work out?

    Tour Topic!

My sister and I are going to see Doug Benson when he's in Minneapolis soon. She saw the live Doug Loves Movies in Austin. Kevin Pollack played for her, and as a birthday 'present' to me, when Kevin lost, she had Doug call me a shit head. Then all the awesome comedians (Scott, Doug, Tom Lennon, and more) signed a birthday card for me. It was great! After listening to a few more Prof. Blastoff's, I am pumped for David Huntsberger coming to Mpls, too.

    Pledge Drive & Fundraising

I know it must cost a lot to run the Earwolf operation, and I feel bad for not donating (yet! I promise!), but I agree with the idea of hearing hard numbers, which may sway more people into donating if we knew how much (generally speaking, of course) it cost to bring so much entertainment to so many people for free. Also, Jeff I miss your weekly updates! I hope you come back to catch up with the Wolf Pack soon.
