Vernon Chatman is mysteriously absent from comedy podcasts
-
It's a simple question.

The Bedrock yellow orange purple lime and red
But to get that fruity taste, I've gotta trick Fred.

Fruit-a-rooty! -
Great episode. I avoid comic book movies but now I must see this one!Â
I'd love to hear the original score (by Christopher Franke) but I can't find it anywhere. :-( -
I'm surprised no one had seen the original Wicker Man. It's a classic of British cinema, although the ingenious plot will be ruined after seeing this remake.
Â
I too enjoyed the Skyline interview. -
I'm also curious about the mysterious TOO HOT FOR ITUNES episode Matt mentioned.
 Â
As for the debate on "unfair" late-round challenges, how about simply picking a winner from the top 3? A tie could be resolved with second place votes or a tiebreaker judge (Frank?). Maybe someone's mentioned this already, I've only skimmed the comments. -

This section's total posts are now ahead of Comedy Bang Bang! I didn't keep up with the shitstorm from last week, but I'm glad you guys didn't address it on the podcast. The forum came out looking pretty bad.
Â
Hope there's another season!! -

LHR will keep it classy. Leaving butthurt one-star reviews is a beta move.

It's not the verdict itself I dislike -- judging is inherently subjective -- but the path to the decision. We've all invested two months in this show; Earwolf has invested significantly more. So isn't it insulting to both listeners and network when the chosen few finalists -- after a grand deception -- are treated in a dismissive, misanthropic manner?
Â
Aukerman had a novel idea, but today's show left a sour taste in my mouth. If there's no curve to the final grading, then narrowly exclusive challenges should stay in earlier rounds.
Â
@ Cody Nelson: Yes I think Matt just wanted to get out of there. Maybe he had Labor Day weekend plans? Understandable, but there's a sharp contrast with his superb shows last week. -

Bad judge choice? The guy was overly mean in-studio, then (apparently) let the cat out of the bag. Whoops.
Â
I don't take fairness or competition aspects as seriously as some posters. So far it's been a fun, informative contest. But I can't help but be disappointed with this week's outcome. -

My first thought was LHR could create SFX/music from chopped-up speech, processing with pitch/time bend, filters, etc. It would be a stunning feat of conceptual sound design.
Â
Making a funny, coherent sketch would be equally difficult, so I'm very interested to hear their final product.
Â
I guess we won't hear the contestants informed about Zach "canceling"? -

I enjoyed Doug's many astute observations.
Â
It was interesting to hear B&D ep 99, recorded pre-judgment. Apparently they tried "pilot pitching" with Nick, but it didn't quite work. That comedy bit could have saved them.
Â
btw TL's one-line description is totally excellent.
