    Furry Vengeance

I'll just ask this: [attachment=7701,162] Is it just me, or does it look like the bear is raping Fraser?

    Rubber (2010)

It's kind of boggling my mind that people are defending this movie. I haven't seen it, but if this recap is any indication, it's a perfect fit: http://www.agonybooth.com/video_shows/Mr_Mendos_Hack_Attack/Rubber.aspx

Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star (2011)

AgentOrange: Off the top of my head, "Ballistic: Ecks Vs. Sever" got a 0. There's also "One Missed Call," "Baby Geniuses 2" and "Strange Wilderness."

    Real Steel

I wonder if it'll end like the "Twilight Zone" episode also based on the short story*, where the robot breaks and the guy has to go in disguised as a robot and fight. * I wonder why they had to add "Real" to the title "Steel." Were they really worried that people would confuse it with the Shaquille O'Neal movie? Or did they want people to know that it wasn't about fake steel?

    Machete

It's astonishing how many intentionally ridiculous movies people recommend for the podcast. I'd love to hear about "Machete," but dang.

    Dragon Wars: D-War (2007)

Two planks of wood fall in love. Not the plot to Pixar's next short, but rather the impression you'll get of the lead actors in this movie. This movie is so confusing, even the title is mystifying (is it "Dragon Wars," like the poster says? Or "D-War," like the title card says?). $75 million. "Dragons" named Buraki and Good Imoogi. Robert Forster kicking three random guys' asses. Netflix Streaming.

    Gamebox 1.0

I recall reading about this one. I think Danielle Fishel from "Boy Meets World" is in it, too. It would be pretty funny if it turned out all the actors in it were from terrible ABC TGIF sitcoms.

    Shoot 'em Up (2007)

I unironically loved this movie. It's so over-the-top that it's brilliant. Even so, I could see a pretty good HDTGM being done around it. It's not like "Crank 2" being intentionally insane kept them from making comedy gold out of it.

    Southland Tales (2006)

It's kind of astonishing that anybody thought putting all the backstory into a series of comic book prequels would be a good idea. As a poster on another forum put it, nobody wants to have to do homework before seeing a movie. There was a news story a while back that Richard Kelly wanted to make the prequel comic books into a direct-to-DVD animated movie ( http://www.avclub.com/articles/richard-kelly-thinks-you-need-an-animated-southlan,48356/ ). It's like he fails to realize that he's made a hopelessly confusing movie, and that no amount of explanation will help.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (2011)

The only way that trailer could be even better is if they played a cheesy Meat Loaf song at some point. I can't wait for this thing.

    Southland Tales (2006)

This movie is like talking to someone who feels like he has to show off how smart he is every time he opens his mouth, and instead just convinces you he's an arrogant, self-satisfied moron. It's like the "Epic Movie" of political satire, where you're just supposed to laugh at how it makes a reference to something you've heard of, rather than making a joke about it. (The bank named after Karl Rove is a particularly blatant offender there.)

    Garden State

I saw it when I was in high school, and thought it was terrible. It embodies every problem with so-called "indie" filmmaking* today. * There should be a rule saying that the more recognizable actors your film has, the less likely it's a real independent film. Calling something like "Juno" an independent film is an insult to low-budget filmmaking.

    Running Scared (2006)

I legitimately, unironically love this movie. I mean, murderous kiddie-pornographers are a minor detour in the plot. How can you hate that?

    A Sound of Thunder (2005)

Fun fact: It's from the producers of "Battlefield Earth." The lawsuit that brought to light the budget inflation of "Battlefield" is part of the reason "A Sound Of Thunder's" effects are so cheap and terrible.

    Planet of the Apes (2001)

Creepiest ending to a post ever? I believe so.

    Q&A w/ Paul Scheer Thread

Are you guys planning on doing more movies that weren't made this century? So far you've only done one. Alternately, when can we expect the next Nicolas Cage-themed HDTGM?
