I've listened to this episode 3 times since it came out and now I have every song from the ep stuck in my head -
The way ACH called the podcast listeners "viewers" and then Scott said "well, listeners" made me miss Mike and Tom Eat Snacks

It's impressive how much mileage Jason gets out of his egg allergy. -

I am constantly amazed that Jess McKenna isn't an elementary school teacher, but I'm very glad we got her instead of some stupid fucking kids. -
I don't care what audiences think, I want to hear more Christian Slater references.

Todd Glass is my favorite lighting-based comedian.

Both times I've listened to this episode, when Ben says "Tell me how you wipe, Shelly", I immediately tried to make it into a song in my head, but was beaten to it by Scott. I've been listening to this podcast for so long that I can't remember if I've always been this way or if I've been trained to think this way by Scott. Is this what being in a cult is like?

good ep. thanks for reminding me about bon voyage, charlie brown. that's a good one. can't wait for the sketch ep! sketch is my shit. I watched Kids in the Hall, Mr. Show, and UCB when they first aired. I can tell you're all super jealous now.

All of Adomian's Todd Glass Show appearances are must-listens for fans of him. I love him and Rory Scovel on that show because they refuse to let Todd talk about serious stuff.

they joke about muscle spasms, but i've had cramps in my leg so bad that i couldn't walk for a day or more after. I don't know why I decided to post this. C+ ep tho

That plugs theme was amazing. I love that it was the Johnny Cash version.

It's funny that they were talking about not wanting to watch "serious" shows and just wanting to watch cartoons, but they love Doug. I never liked Doug because it seemed too "serious" to me lol. like, it's basically about real life. He goes to school and maybe he had a job I dunno. and shows where the main character has a perpetually unrequited crush always frustrated the hell out of me. (side note: did Doug & Patti ever get together? I feel like maybe they did at one point.) I was into the cartoons that they mentioned that were just insane, like Ren & Stimpy, Animaniacs, Freakazoid!, Pinky & The Brain. Rocko's Modern Life I loved, and it was sort of about real life, but it was also weird as hell. I never liked Rugrats. I feel like I spent a lot of my childhood sitting in the living room of my mother's friends with all of my mother's friends' children, or my babysitter and all of her children. Real life Rugrats soured me on cartoon Rugrats. also I agree w/ Lauren re: Wacko, except if Wacko were a girl. completely unrelated thought: if Wacko were a girl, she'd be Jessica McKenna. hmm.

Please don't forget this episode when you vote for the best ofs! It's one of my favorite eps and it'd be a shame if it got left out just because it came out so long ago.

I prefer to think of books as the flesh of murdered trees. Also July spelled "humourist" wrong. I assume he's already been fired.

totally agree with Santa Claws re: Orenthal Simpson getting McDonalds after he got out of prison. in fact, first thing I did when I got out of jail was get some Jack in the Box. -
Wow I never noticed the Cheers theme song had the words "CHEERS CHEERS CHEERS" in it
