  1. Hayes and Sean, would you guys be afraid of a Draculer, Frankenstein, or Mummy that sat down in a chair with a reading light and a copy of The Mortal Instruments? Or does that scenario only soothe your fear of very tall wolves?

I'm doing a project on things people are scared of, and the things that make the scary things less scary. It would be really helpful if I could get some answers, I really want to get an A+.

  2.

Do you hate on the news for them reporting on #NationalTragedies no, so don't hate on us man. You're acting like I didn't just deliver the facts that this 29 year old woman, who happened to only date athletes and wanted to be on tv, hung herself. Its not like I tied the noose or anything.

I for one think Sean and Hayes would be proud of this topic if they read it.

  3. I would like to know if Antigua is as beautiful as the baked potato mentioned in this classic episode of The Reality SHOW Show http://www.earwolf.com/episode/beautiful-baked-potato/.

Is the Antigua better because it's bigger and has all sorts of wonderful scenery? Or does the potato take the (metaphoircal) cake because it's steamy, delicious, and being given the hard sell by Jeff Probst?

This is my attempt to "bring it" harder, because I was another person who was not name checked, and obviously I need to step it up. Trying not to buss up in a bad way over here.

ANYWAYS, let me know which is better, the island paradise or the baked potato.

  4. This forum would have a lot more comments if Hayes (who looks more like a "Hunter") and Sean (who looks more like a "dummy") gave a flying fuck about us. One comment a piece? I think TJ Lavin would have a few choice words to say to them about their level of commitment to their message boarding duties.

Am I being accused of being Hayes? Or am I just being a narcissist?

  5. I loved that powerful speech that Jessica gave to that weird bird lady who tried to kill CT. You could tell it was a great speech because they kept the camera on Anastasia's face the entire time, to really show the emotional impact it was giving. Certainly not because it was done entirely in ADR or anything like that. REALLY inspirational stuff.

Alright, Hunter, we get it. You got on the show! Congrats! Now how about you show some consideration for those of us that have been waiting on the line for hours, hoping for a chance to get through. This hold music has become my life's soundtrack at this point. You got to be one out of thousands that made it through, no need to rub our damn faces in it.

Jerkface, I'm sorry. I see now it was I who was truly being the Jerkface.

I will now take a 100 year vow of silence. Go be a monk or something, I guess.

  7. Immediately after I hung up I was worried that I did a terrible job calling in, but after listening to it around 10 times I think I did mostly okay! I probably could have made my thoughts on the Challenge a little clearer, but I was super nervous.

The non-me related parts were as excellent as they always are. I loved the call with Bus Stop, and I love the longer episodes. I'm glad you're gonna do more like this!

  8. I figured I wouldn't clutter up a show thread with talk about old seasons of The Challenge, but I want to talk about the ones I've watched so far.

I found The Duel and started there, both because I like that format and because I wanted to see what Wes winning a season looked like. From there I went to the first episode of the Duel 2, because I wanted to CT punch Adam in the face, then threaten to crush his head and eat it. I didn't watch the rest of the season yet, because there's no way that moment can be topped.

After that I watched The Ruins, which caused me to actively dislike the Kenny, Johnny, and Evan trio. Then Fresh Meat 2, then Rivals. I liked the dueling alliances in Fresh Meat 2, but Kenny and Laurel were way too good at the challenges for Wes' alliance to really do anything.

The Battle of the Seasons is still my favorite, but I think I'd put Rivals second. Mostly because I was so delighted by CT trying to get Adam to say they were friends after every Challenge. Any interaction between Leroy and Mike was also a highlight.

  9. Guys, I'm pretty disappointed in you. During one of the teases you guys did for the Joe Wengert interview, you stated that Hayes would call Joe "Joegert" no less than 4 times. Imagine how dismayed I was when Joe Wengert wasn't even called "Joegert" ONCE! I may be in too emotional a place right now to properly fill out the survey at http://www.themidroll.com/survey/reality/, but let's just say right now, for the question "How sad would you be if this show didn't exist?" I'm leaning away from "Very Sad" and towards "Briefly Melancholy". Don't even get me started on "How much do you trust the show host(s) to be honest with you?" SPOILER ALERT: It's "Not so much"!

  10. I can't believe you guys would abandon the classic comedic personas of The Coyote and The Professor. Maybe you just got tired of so much jerkin' off.

Unrelated to this episode, thanks to your interviews with Frank and Dave Holmes, I decided to watch the latest season of the Challenge. I ended up watching the whole thing in 2 days. Is there another season you guys would recommend? MTV has full seasons on their website going back to The Gauntlet 3.

EDIT: Just to be really self indulgent, I'm gonna list my favorite parts of this season of The Challenge.

    1. Both Hall Brawls (Big Easy vs. Wes and CJ vs Zach)

    2. The entirety of the 9th episode (listen to the Dave Holmes episode for some of the clips)

    3. Any time Team Brooklyn won anything (Only season of the Real World I've watched all the way through, and they always felt like underdogs here)

  11. Hayes, I found your admission that you used to be a bully to be really brave and inspiring. I hope all of the discussion of sticking globes up people's butts and the new ways you could do it on today's episode doesn't tempt you to flush your 3 years of bullying sobriety down the drain. You're a real hero to recovering bullies everywhere, stay strong.
