    Episode 99 β€” A View To a Kill: LIVE

I'm so glad that Matt and June teamed up to settle the "Wig" vs. "Dye". I needed Wigdar to show up; you guys. It's just a shame that there was no real English Off though. And also, super fun Q & A this episode! Much better than LOL's. With a lot of smart Bond girl names ("Duet ToumΓ©" is AMAZING). This was a huge episode loaded with hilarious moments. Fantastic!

    Episode 325 β€” Musical Organs

Having Pamela drop all the band member names was HILARIOUS! Spyyyyyyyrooooo is my favorite Ferendoopity and Amblo (a.k.a. Danny) were close seconds, though, lol.

    Episode 1518 - Erin Foley

You son of a b*tch! "Take that away; I don't want to hear her now!" - I literally spit out my drink at that line! (I'm also glad I wasn't drinking anything when Erin was talking about "Carol". "I mean, She's sort of imaginary - I like to scream out, 'Carol'....'" lol) I totally forgot about the Pardcast-a-Thon, btw (I do not watch live things online that much, sorry). But thanks for leaving the donate page up here: https://secure.smile....donation=form1 I'm glad I could give (and will give again before Christmas!) to the Cast-a-Thon this year even if I missed the show!
  5. Ha HA! I submitted that video that they watched in this episode! Awesome! That's amazing! I loved that they had to describe it! Totally worth it for a scene involving Horatio Sanz talking body modification - "I mean it's like owning a parrot; it's cool" "Have you seen me in the dark?" "Look at me levitate". lol. Thanks so much for the laughs, Matt & crew! Thanks for picking it, Horatio! Loved this ep!

Episode 324 β€” Golden Duchess Cruise Lines

The Golden Duchess Cruise Line conceit was unnecessary if you ask me; Lauren, Mary, Erin and Stephanie were great without it. Everyone was weird and every bit was really funny - they could've done anything Colin, as always, was a fantastic no.2 here as well. He always is! He should be around more! Why does he have to get acting jobs, dang it? lol. Great episode. *In Adam Scott voice* This was a, uh, very fun time.
  7. I'm so glad that I went to his Wikipedia page and read, "He also co-wrote the stage musical, In the Heights". Hahaha. Good job, NNF listeners!

Episode 533 - I Only Date White People

"Comedy is about being funny and that's it" -- "No it's not" I can guarantee the people who say this kind of thing, who don't recognize that good comedy comes from life experience, and that comedians should just "be funny", and that they shouldn't be "internet activists", etc... These are people who are fans of Jeff Dunham and Carlos Mencia and Larry the Cable Guy. The biggest fakers who are playing the most cartoonish caricatures and saying the most hollow and lazy shit, y'know? These people are the ones who also watch all the terrible sitcoms on TV like, "Two and a Half Men" and are loving it. LOVING IT. Just. Cracking. Up. It's like they have trained themselves to "enjoy" nothing, which is why they can't tell there's no substance there, and why they firmly believe that their brand of "comedy" is the only way to go (they're always about ONE way to do something, aren't they? They're probably the crazy religious zealots who turn other people into atheists because they're so militaristic in dismissing other cultures & religions). They just don't get how shitty their stuff is, and how much more enriching EVERYTHING is when it's pulled from life experiences. Just pure close-mindedness. They're the fucking worst. -- Don't know why, exactly, I decided I needed some racism this Thanksgiving racism, but I'm glad I checked in and had a listen now. Ify is a great guest! Good ep.

    ELO + OJN - Xanadu

I love this movie for the music and the visuals... and want them to tear it to pieces! It's such a great idea! The only better idea would be getting Paul F. Tompkins on as guest to be Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber in-character the whole show! Don't care if he has nothing to do with it; I tell you, I've been waiting for them to tackle a musical since this show began, and I demand that their guest be Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber so we can hear from a professional just how awful all non-Cats (or Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcast, or Phantom of the Opera, or Starlight Express, etc.) musicals are
  10. *watches clip in first post at top of thread* I wanna know how Chris Klein's hairline got made. That is a mystery. He should be more bald, right? It's so far back. O o O -- At any rate, I can't stand this film. It's just badly done, and has such a bland tone, and is boring. Anytime I leave my TV on an FX or TNT or something by accident, there's a chance this will come on. I know I've seen a lot of it, actually, just in bits and pieces, and it's just such a snoozefest (in addition to treating the "Street Fighter" license like horseshit). There's no charm. There's no skill involved in making it. None of the characters look like their game counterparts, or just cool independent of the license. Nothing looks good; it's all bland. It's not even enough to illicit rage. It just sucks. They can watch Tekken or DOA Dead or Alive instead. Two movies that are also based on video games, and are also not great by any stretch of the imagination, but are at least entertaining in their awfulness. Heck, sometimes, they're even just plain entertaining (well choreographed fight scenes at least, and even some nice casting choices - Jamie Pressley as Tina Armstrong in DOA? And Kevin Nash as her father, Bass - the character in the game inspired by WWF Wrestlers? Sure! That's actually really good casting!). If we're going to get HDTGM to watch and have a discussion about a bonkers, fantastical martial arts flick that butchers a cherished license, Dragonball Evolution exists. They could watch that too instead. Legend of Chun Li though? It's just boring, sucky, and... it just sucks. Just talking about it saps my energy to... continue talking about it. Ugh. fuck. Let's just forget it and enjoy this instead: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vkSrXrAbT0

    Milk Money (1994)

Haha. I found this out just now thanks to the Nostalgia Critic too. Holy shit; this is THE most fucked up movie premise ever. OMG. I don't know what to say (beyond, naturally, how did this get made!?). Sometimes, I want the HDTGM crew to do a movie beyond making fun of it. Sometimes, I kinda just need them to to prove it exists, That, yes, this happened. And what the hell do you do with it. How do real people react to this; preferably hilarious people. Because there were scores of executives who greenlit this. There was at least one person who wrote this. A director! A casting directory who had to find the three kids to act in this. There's SO MANY PEOPLE who made this happen. I don't know why. Who is this for? This is one of those movies. This one breaks my brain.

Episode 323 β€” Pie Quiz with Tears for Fears

Holy eff. I didn't know about the Cake Boss getting arrested until I started listening to the podcast. And man oh man, I am SO happy that this came up when I googled it: === I swear, he HAS to know about Paul's impression when he says stuff like this. I bet he has a Google Alert out for his name, so he's actually listened to every episode featuring Tompkins. For the record, in my mind, I totally heard that quote in the headline in Paul's voice :D

Episode 28 β€” The Hooray Show

Was anyone else like, *reads title* *sees that it's Horatio Sanz* *reads title again* ... "OH! I get it!" lol Brilliant surprise! I love Horatio's presence & character work on CBB and I4H!

    submit youtube clips for improv4humans

Saw this on HuffPost Weird News, so I'll just C & P their text: "Jenya Bolotov is a platypus. Or at least, that's how the 26-year-old Russian designer . 'Externally, I am now a platypus," he said. "My resemblance is the way I want it to be. It takes bravery to do what I've done and I will keep modifying my body until I am happy.'" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buzU1xH3vEE Make sure you watch until 2:04 to see the crazy light-up shit in his face.

Mother Goose Rock 'n' Rhyme (1990)

This movie and the "Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue" anti-Drug PSA sort of haunted my childhood. These were both really, really weird productions that always felt off to me. This movie is a fantastic HDTGM suggestion... and also a movie I immediately need to go watch on Youtube Thanks for wasting away my Saturday.

Guest Idea: Worst Idea Of All Time Podcast

I think the HDTGM crew should steer clear. By the time anything might come together, the Worst Idea guys'll just be blubbering masses of insanity. I mean; man... might as well just have a couple pudding cups on as a guest. That's gotta be equal to talking to any human being after watching Grown Ups 2 every week for months. I imagine most exchanges going something like this: "What do you think, Guest?" *blubbers incoherently, maybe screams and runs off* "What do you think, Pudding Cup?" *silence, maybe falls over* See? Adds exactly the same amount to the discussion

How is there not a shirt on the Earwolf shop with "PUT THE PLANE ON THE MAGAZINE!" on it! O.O

    Episode 98 β€” LOL: LIVE!

Great All*Stars this time, Paul! I love me some Chelsea Peretti! This movie sounded AMAZING; I'm glad I didn't see it, and I'm glad you all were so good a painting a picture with your descriptions, haha. Also: Masturbation jokes? "How is this my life?"-variant existential statement? Thank God, Rob Huebel was there -- he may not have been at the taping, but the spirit of Mantzoukas was definitely there, speaking through Rob This episode made my week! Thank you for your sacrifice in watching this, All Stars! Really appreciate it, Chelsea, Rob, John and Paul!

    Virtuosity (1995)

I'm definitely nostalgic for this era of film - the whole 90's, really. So fascinated with far-flung futuristic concepts like "3D", "Virtual Reality" and "The Internet" that they seemingly spit out a whole host of possible HDTGM contenders in about 4 years. "Max Headroom", "The Net", "Lawnmower Man", "Johnny Mnemonic", "Existenz", ... I think "The 13th Floor" was the name of the movie about a building who's titular floor only existed in virtual reality.... and of course, "Virtuosity" here. All of them are so, so outdated and dramatically wrong when it comes to technology, they're fun to look back on and mock, but this one has definitely got the fun "Demolition Man" vibe going on, as GOZU says. Ridiculous, over the top, fun and crazy outdated... yeah, this would be a great HDTGM movie Also, it would be fantastic for Paul to get Kamau Bell on the podcast for that episode. Since Scheer has to know about Bell's show on his (Scheer's) Wolfpop network, "Denzel Washington is the Greatest Actor of All Time PERIOD", lol. Anyway, I'm putting the trailer up here since it's not here already. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEDdaStz4kw Plus, early Russell Crowe!

    Episode 160 β€” Funky Kong

Oh man, the sketch about the scamming grandma had me in stitches. Everyone was fantastic in this ep as always, but props to Pamela Murphy on that one. It was a little slow until she just threw out fist-fucking out of nowhere. lol. She also had the foresight to callback to Will Wheaton. That one was truly hilarious! This was a great episode, guys! To be fair, Funky Kong changes professions (and passions) pretty randomly as we get further away from the old Donkey Kong Country games. Remember in DK64, he went all "Ted Nugent" on us and changed his definition of funky to... dealing in heavy weaponry, lol. He's probably been a rapper in, like, a Mario Kart or something by now

    Episode 97.5 β€” Minisode 97.5

"What an amazing time for classics - and this could have been one! If it were totally rewritten... And possibly recast... And probably differently directed" - Paul Scheer lol. This line was classic

    Episode 97.5 β€” Minisode 97.5

Oh finally! I remember seeing the boards BLOW. UP. for the "Glitter" episode because people were furious they watched this, haha! I can't wait to hear how Jason reacts to it xD I can't wait to hear how the All-Stars reacted to it xD

    Episode 160 β€” Funky Kong

    Funky Kong!?
  24. ~8m in... Okay, pause it. Mr. Pargin has intentionally given me something I must look up, for I do not believe this exists. And I feel like I'm letting you down because of it - "our listeners will know what it's called", he says. I need to see this prison warden octupus man thing who has a penis for every tentacle, and this centaur where the front half is a sexy naked woman and the back half is also a sexy naked woman. Though I fear my brain will explode upon seeing this sight, I HAVE to know wtf he's talking about And I thought I knew anime pretty well too :'(

    Episode 525 - GamerGate

:D/> Oh this made me happy. I mean obviously, y'all are smart enough to deal with this thing in a quick and intelligent way, but I just love this sentence: "They're not smart enough - well, obviously they're not smart enough - to realize that their own brand is totally tarnished now" Perfect little summation there. I've hated this whole frickin' thing and that whole, incredibly vocal group of dipshits completely piss me off. Ugh. I'm in the industry (I'm a 3D artist & animator) and those fuckers (douchebags? Nope; definitely too benign, Buzzfeed) are the worst; and they are, completely, isolated little punks who only act up through internet. When exhibiting at trade shows or conventions, you don't see any of that; FAR MORE people are just universally positive about gaming (for example...). And then on the internet, it's a complete 180 and it's disgusting. Big surprise, right? Just like y'all know. I'm glad to hear Emily didn't get a ton of backlash from talking about this on Grantland though. This was just a great, succinct little discussion on this without giving those assholes much attention - love that. There's nothing I can say that wasn't covered more eloquently, or more entertainingly, by Ms. Yoshida and Mr. Ti here :)/> I also loved the beginning of this episode and the actual question about "Racist = N word for white people?" :)/> That was hilarious. Especially the figuring out of how the question came up in the first place - that dude DEFINITELY was just talking about that at that party, lol. It's almost like squeezing in two topics in one episode. And great on Andrew for knowing some stuff about the topic this week! I mean, usually he doesn't at all, lol. Especially video games - I remember another video gaming question about a commentator dropping an N-word during commentary and he assumed it was, like, Poker on ESPN2 being talked about.
