I never go into the contest threads. But this is like most of the shit I ever do, it's just dumb phtotoshoppery. Not really great graphic design fitting for a t-shirt or whatever. Also, this i the best photobomb ever:

There's definitely a trailer, but they have not released it yet. I see certain things in advance as part of my job. I'm keeping an eye out for when they publicly drop the trailer and I'll post it here as soon as it goes out.

I don't know how I missed this poster previously (careful, NSFW): http://www.slantmaga...use/tags/hostel If this movie gets done, the advertising should get dissected on the previous minisode, cause I wanna know how they drop a poster that's literally an adult man sucking on a titty.

Honeycrisp is definitely the best apple. Speaking of, for Real Milk Dirt Cup and others interested, I got some of this at Whole Foods the other day. Its pretty good, moderate sweetness, well rounded flavor.

Really? I watched some clips at work and had no problem committing to McBride in a serious role. I was more thrown off by Franco's decision to cram in all kinds of weird split screen shots into the flick.
-
I was wildly entertained at the idea of Paul drinking a 40 in the theater for this flick back in the day...

REDBAND TRAILER! I'm not gonna let go of this. Watch this fucking trailer and tell me this wouldn't be an amazing episode. This movie was fucking made for HDTGM. Pretty sure Statham stabs a dude in the abdomen with a mother fucking gas pump nozzle @ :53. Also, top comment - "why an undercover cop hide his cop papers in his undercover house?......" This movie has already won my Roadhouse award for this year, based solely on trailers. Get on board, guys. In closing, CHUCK. FUCKING. ZITO.

Not gonna forget about this one. They just put up that video with the Stallone / Statham intro. Watch them flirt with watch other - it is amazing:
-
Just to clarify, various online information sources seem to have the release date as next summer. This is dropping this Thanksgiving. 11/27/13
-
Also I just saw a cutdown of this where Statham and Stallone recorded an intro. They were basically flirting with each other. It was fucking magical.

Trailer just dropped a few hours ago. I am not gonna stop campaigning for this one, even if you guys think I'm nuts. http://movies.yahoo.com/video/homefront-trailer-154037823.html

Episode 52 — sup /b/
EarBear replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Fogelnest Files with Jake Fogelnest
You're doing really awesome work these days, Jake. Thank you. -
All solid points, though I would posit that the days of Stallone being able to crank out quality like Rocky are long gone. I wasn't really talking shit or saying this movie looks like a pile - the production quality actually looks great. But it does appear to be big budget sleaze / exploitation, so I think the crew cutting into it a bit would be fitting. I probably should have noted the best part, if the trailer is to be trusted, it looks like the movie turns into a Taken rip off as Statham tracks down his Franco kidnapped daughter. I dunno, so many really bad movies are done on HDTGM, I love it when they cover a flick that is utterly implausible, unrealistic and silly but also slick, fun and enjoyable. i.e. the Fast series. I think this movie has the potential to be that. Or it will be a giant pile. Either way..

This is a bit sad-making, though I'm super excited KuKu is working on a movie. Let's wish her the best, guys. Also, if April can't fill in at any time over the next few weeks, I put my vote in for Alie Ward and/or Georgia Hardstark. I love them ladies.
-
I'm down for this. I wrote in another thread I thought they should host a special Bizarro Whooch, but I would also give a few listens to their own show as part of an Earwolf Presents series to see if they could make it work. April is fantastic. Anybody catch Howard's shout out to Earwolf message board superstar cat & beard? Sounds like they met up in Portland.

Episode 69 — Crocodile Dundee In Los Angeles

Oh I'm not a successful screenwriter or anything - I'm just some dickhead talking out of his ass, like the rest of the internet. -

Most likely, but it's hard to know for sure. There's also a huge issue with verbal agreements vs. written contracts, and that permeates almost all deals in Hollywood. So the agents and the production company might have something verbally worked out, but without a written agreement, they wouldn't get far in a legal proceeding. At least with respect to writers. Screen talent usually gets fucked in those verbal agreement suits, cause their value is perceived as so much greater, like how Whoopi Goldberg had to make that awful dinosaur cop movie. i feel like they've mentioned that on HDTGM at some point? Yeah, interestingly a lot of people will tell you registering your original / spec scripts with the WGA is sort of a waste, cause if someone is gonna steal your original idea, they won't be so brazen about it. They'll change it up enough that they have some legal justification to claim it as original. The WGA registration is a lot more beneficial in a situation like this, where you're doing something for hire and want to make sure you don't get fucked by an unscrupulous person / company down the road. -
