It wasn't until the third time that Scott said it that I realized that “I Liked His Old Stuff Better” was actually the name of Kyle's special and not a dig.

I just heard about Reggie getting the job as bandleader for some non-fake (aka boring) late night talk show. I'm happy for him but what does this mean for comedy bang bang?

I personally don't care for the musical episodes. I could say it changes the vibe of the show or whatever, but the main issue is I have not enjoyed most of the musicians you've had on. But if musical episodes are staying, and I have a feeling they are, then for the next one you should try to get Aaron Freeman (the former Gene Ween) to come play some songs. I'm perfectly fine with case closed but if people really have issue with it, just make it a bonus episode instead of at the end of a normal episode.

Faith No More is releasing a new album?!? Man I feel as out of touch as I did a half hour ago when I read in the cracked.com comment section that Pete Steele from Type O Negative was dead.

This was the first I've heard of ASMR, and I don't know whether to be glad or bummed that I don't have it. Personally I find those sounds incredibly annoying.

When Gino mentioned desalinizing the ocean, I wanted Scott to say "instead of desalinizing the ocean, they should just add pepper!" But I guess Scott doesn't listen to old foam corners as often as I do.

Nice reference to the tv show (Scott got dry cleaning and his clothes came back sopping wet). Just wondering, does anyone here subscribe to Naturebox? Is it worth it? (Seems kind of expensive.)

Nice. Just a few hours ago I listened to the recent Todd Glass Show that Chris was on. Good songs and a funny guy too. This should be a good episode.

I'm not familiar with this Loudon guy but he makes some pretty good music. Normally when Scott (and Besser on i4h) has MUSICAL GUESTS I end up fast forwarding but this was enjoyable. I also liked Ron Sexsmith on that one ep, he should do another one.

One thing I liked about this episode (aside from the obvious PFT factor) was that, admittedly they did not play much U2 during the episode, but the few times they did it was actually audible. Whereas every previous episode Scotts would say "lets hear some of [whatever]" followed by music too quiet to even form an opinion on. So thanks for that, it made an amazing episode even better.

Why only 1:24:49? There were so many great scenes from this period of I4H (the VPN era), this could have easily been 3 hours. The other best ofs were 2 hours, right? What Punctured Jesus said. I must have watched every VPN episode like a dozen times each.

I also gave them a shot, and listened to their album of greatest hits from the 80s. I'll give them some credit and say they're pretty good songwriters. But I can't get past the shitty, trebly sound of Edge's guitar. Just awful. Whatever, I still love this show.
