Any fan of comedy owes it to themselves to listen to this episode. When people say, "Never meet your heroes," I'm guessing they never met David Steinberg (but maybe met Jerry Lewis).
Β
Steinberg was the perfect guest. Great ep!

A fave is the one where Sean goes clubbing with Chappie - the second Jon Gabrus episode.
Β
"And then somebody introduces me to Chappie and we kind of know of each other, but we don't know each other...."

Hayes is the best guest on any podcast at any time. Loved his episodes of Trends with Benefits and Gilmore Guys, and obviously CBB.

Looking forward to hearing the U2 story from Jimmy's perspective

This troubles me. So many shows leave quality networks and fade away. Particularly sad because while I love the HOORAY (show), I feel like it hasn't even found it's groove yet.
Β
And to be honest, I wish they did do it in the studio. I know they can't smoke or whatever, and maybe some people just won't go to earwolf for a session, I get that. But the non studio shows are always less produced and with varying sound qualities week to week.
Β
I was happy PFT brought his show to earwolf. Recording quality has been 100% reliable since.
Β
Maybe I'm just picky, but even if the content is good I can't tough through people being off mic or background noise.
Β
Looking forward to the unreleased shows.
Β
I was hoping the announcement was going to be Chad becoming the official co-host, and the two moving into earwolf proper and letting engineers handle things.
Β
Β
Move it into the studio? This is already one of the best and most highly-produced podcasts I listen to. What would they gain moving into the earwolf studio? The production value is already super high for a podcast.
Β
It's all about Chad, baby. Wish the show the best of luck.

I really liked Mm.. Food

Guinnesses was my favorite song throughout college
Β
I think that's the Doom you're talking about, right?
Β
I realize that Doom isn't actually on that track, but his production is insane

Anyone ever have the feeling where they wish they could discover HH for the first time all over again? I would really like to experience it again - the transition from not knowing what this gd thing is, to sort of getting it, to loving it, to listening to every single episode. That was super fun.
Β
Needless to say, this is a great ep.

Not sure what the dominant trait is here - smart funniness or funny smartness. Guys?

The serial format is very becoming, Houston.
Β
I don't know if Tom would be up for doing it the whole show, but in some ways Gary the Squirrel would be the perfect guest for HH.

Earwolfman Jack came to me in a dream and said the show's not ending. He was glowing and there was a halo over his head, but the turkey bone was still stuck in his neck sideways. It was glorious.

I downloaded this episode on commuter bus wireless - so worth the 35 minute wait!

Brett shreds on guitar. I could listen to him play Possum Kingdom all day.

I guess at this point I'm mainly a fan of the boys introducing new podcasts

I'm from West Newbury, MA. You've probably never heard of it. It's kind of on the North Shore.
Β
Massachusetts is the best state. Discuss.

Aloha? More like Aloha (it also means goodbye, because I thought the movie was bad and I'm ushering it out of my life).
Β
Good ep, but you knew I was going to say that.

Hayes reading fake stage directions is one of my favorite things in the world - it never gets old. He usually doesn't act as a character in HH table reads/scenes, I assume because he's so good at stage directions.

Pretty great ep. Sean's directing traffic story may be an all-time Sean moment for me. Show just keeps gettin' better, guys

HH is currently #34 on the overall iTunes audio podcast chart, only a couple spots below the points guy's podcast. I hope they catch him.
