  1. Congratulations!

    ย

I like the name Roan. Roan Wright, though, sounds like something Scooby Doo would say, so maybe that's not a good one.

plus lets face it, you're getting older, you've put on a few pounds, you'll probably never reproduce anyway

    ย

    Yeah, probably :(

  2. Hello.

    ย

New to Earwolf Forums, and new to Hollywood Handbook. I've been a longtime listener of CBB, Improv4humans, Andy Daly among others, but for some reason did not know HH was funny. Now that I noticed I have been binge-listening, going back and forth btwn the oldest eps, the newest eps, and the in betweenest.

    ย

I'm curious: how do people submit questions for the hosts and/or guests??

    ย

Hi Rayman, I'm a big fan of your video game series but I have a question how do you have feet and hands but no limbs? Also what are you supposed to be? An animal? Some kind of bug thing?

    ย

That is an example of how I would submit a popcorn gallery question, when prompted, if you somehow became a guest on the show but history has shown that no forum poster has ever crossed over from our world to their world as a guest, so it's just a purely hypothetical but if you want to answer anyway, I welcome it. Thanks.

  3. I enjoyed all the episodes that came before it immensely but I feel like the first Shelby Fero episode (#15), is where their personas seemed to gain a little bit of depth beyond the extremely enjoyable pompous Hollywood thing.

    ย

And then the next episode with Grace Helbig (#16) showing them how to use a computer and the internet, I think for me, that's where the show started to really shift into a different gear (car talk).

    ย

I can't imagine just jumping around at some arbitrary starting point with this show, though. It's filling me with anxiety just thinking about it.

  4. I'm glad I found Hollywood Handbook when I did; despite the buzz (and their appearance in the ads on CBB) that got me listening in the first place a few months ago, I don't think I would have given the show a shot if I couldn't start at the beginning for free. I mean, of course I'd pay $4.99 a month for the show and the archive now, but when you're just trying to sample something to see if you like it, the free people who don't just wanna jump into something in the middle, are getting kinda fucked.

    ย

But if this Howl app eliminates the "uh you can't complain about free entertainment" talking point that dipshit CBB fans like to use whenever someone criticizes an episode, then that's definitely one in the win column.

  5. I know there's been a lot of uproar from the vocal minority about the job SteveH has done -- specifically from these so-called Yahooligans and the ESPNe'er-do-wells -- but I'm here to give a very public show of support to our Commish, which is sort of this friendly nickname I've given him.

I stand with Steve. Won't you join me?
