HAHAHA @ Paul. Paraphrasing: "This movie IS racist...I'm just not sure how". Most times Paul says something is racist, then says what that part is, I find myself going "okay, now get to the racist part". Hahaha, Funny to hear him have a hard time with it too. Can something be racist towards a made-up culture of evil?

I've listened to this episode at least 5 times. Pete Holmes is a great energy balance for the show. He brings a sincere, positive, inquisitiveness with him similar to June ratcheted up to 11.

WOW at this thread. I remember when Ginger Spice got booed/laughed at by the crowd during the MTV Movie Awards , just after Princess Di died, for saying "...and she truly had Girl Power". It was such a ridiculous fucking thing to say made worse by how she said it, and the crowd let her know. I mean...an MTV Movie Awards crowd went highbrow on your ass. I liked SpiceWorld because of its campy, surprisingly funny, meta vibe, but how can you really complain that people known for saying things like "this movie is literally garbage" take the piss out of it?

...let’s just my Charisma’s nickname is 'Matchbox' - Blackie Green - Ha! That was a dick move on Amarth’s part, pure and simple. He only wanted to kill the guy once he saw someone was going to make a point of saving him. That, to me, should indicate his nature. Then even when he lost the initial roll, he went ahead with it just to prove a point. Pure ass-holery. I LOVED IT. Great for the show and great for game play. I love playing with a wild card in the group, as long it’s not a kid who just doesn’t know any better and gets everyone in trouble with ass-hole moves, because it adds a danger level to the game. Sir Richard will only be a really interesting character if he’s tested to be virtuous by things like this. Kudos on the 1st half of this episode....((I'm only 1/2 way through))

Episode 75 — The Dark Side of the Moon
Corky Kneivel replied to admin's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
That's hilarious I didn't realize "Everyone get in here" was an endemic improv go-to. This current Harold season we've been challenged, during group games, to never say "everyone get in here" and no standing all in a line. -

Holy shit. Haven't listened yet but Huebel, Gabrus, and Pally? Greatest podcast in the universe, sound unseen. -
Fucking great episode. Forgot about Kevin Brennan, funny funny dude.

Episode 74 — We R Michelle Shocked

Loved it. This episode mimiced the manic randomness of Michelle Shockds performance. -
Blaine's "I heard Subulba's running Hollywood" was sublime and the comment about "Getting together down by the airport to sit on a car hood and just talk" was so great. Patton's song, and the raucous laughing, was one of the greatest moments in this podcast and pasted a smile to my face. LEVEL UP

Episode 58 — In The Name of The King
Corky Kneivel replied to admin's topic in How Did This Get Made?
I'm really excited to listen to this. This was the first movie I thought of and one of two I named in the thread for suggestions, the other being Dream catcher. Goddammit this film is so fucking bad. I remember watching the first 15 minute sand just asking aloud "Who are these people, where are we, and what. is. happening?" Plus Seth Morris is in studio? Hell yeah. Hahaha found my old post http://forum.earwolf.com/topic/5938-in-the-name-of-the-king-or/page__p__30384__fromsearch__1?do=findComment&comment=30384 Its exactly what I was saying above, and what they stressed: it starts and you will never figure out what the who the why the fuck??? -
Man I am in complete disagreement with everyone else who’s chimed in. This was the first episode I didn’t like. Too much fucking around in this one, and waaaayyy too much of it was Bartho Shett. When they were about to move on and Brian stopped Sark to see if they should divvy up the spoils it was the first time in the any of the episodes I debated turning it off. Just as they started to do something here came another bit of nothing happening and quips. I love this podcast and just last episode wrote about how much I look forward to it, but this one fell completely flat for me.

Episode 26 — Burning Love LIVE
Corky Kneivel replied to admin's topic in The Fogelnest Files with Jake Fogelnest
Pretty lame audience on this one. I would have been out of my mind getting June-Diane Raphael, Nick Kroll, & Kumartin Starrjani. PLUS the infamous Doobie Brothers What's Happening? And Burning Love is one of the funniest things out right now. I was so happy to see JDR getting the spotlight on that because she is hilarious. The little conversation she has with herself in Episode 1, to get herself reasy to meet the guys, had me literally crying I was laughing so hard. -
Episode 70 — Freaky The Rasta Clown
Corky Kneivel replied to admin's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Very funny episode. In the Jimmy Dean complaint scene, when Matt said that they “don’t make 2 oz sausages, they only make 12 oz.” - did I miss that being set up before Seth started his complaint? Or was it because the crux of the original youtube complaint was about going from 16 oz to 12 oz? I ask because Matt seemed to negate what Seth was building towards with that comment. I wasn’t sure if there was direct purpose behind it, similar to the way they guided Brian to the scene when he came in, or if he was strictly adhering to the youtube suggestion’s “reality”. It seemed odd. -
Episode 57 — From Justin To Kelly: LIVE!
Corky Kneivel replied to admin's topic in How Did This Get Made?
One of the best episodes of this show to date. Loved it. -
This podcast is one I look forward to, moreso than any other of my regular favorites, and HAVE TO hear as soon as I download it. It automatically moves to the top of the listenign stack. For example: I have yet to listen to yesterday's HDTGM?, Sklarbro County, and, yes, even I4H which is my favorite podcast and has been firing on all cylinders lately. I didn't listen to any of those yesterday because I was in the middle of a day-long run of Orson Welle's "The Black Musum" ((OTR)), which I've heard numerous times but had a hankering for, and put those episodes off. I'm still in a Black Museum mood but...waking up and knowing its Wednesday, and knowing a new Nerd Poker drops....well...everything else gets to wait, Nerd Poker trumps all. I'm not saying it better than any of those, I just HAVE TO KNOW. Thank you guys for the excellence. Thank you for re-igniting my love of tabletop. Now, I'm off to listen. p.s. I want Karn &Tras to become like the Russian "Interior Decorator" from the Pine Barrens episode of The Sopranos.

Episode 68 — Devil's Penis Pass
Corky Kneivel replied to admin's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Okay then I got it and I agree with your assessment. I just wan't sure though, you know. Sort of like the ending of The Usual Suspects: by the reaction I thought there must have been some twist or hidden meaning that I missed, yet everyone else picked up on. Thanks. -
Episode 68 — Devil's Penis Pass
Corky Kneivel replied to admin's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
I’m not sure if I quite followed Kevin Dorff’s summation/twist on the Sandy hook bit. I noticed they all acknowledged it like it made sense what he was going for (in the show) and it seems a few of you got it. I will admit it flew by me. -
I cracked up at "Blackie gives him a Blue Steel". That was great. Fun episode, lots of action and I like Brian managing the pace like that. I'm still having a hard time envisioning this structure they were in and what the people(?) in it are doing while they're running through, riding elevators and slaughtering people (and making woefully inept attempts to intimidate them). As an player of D&D and Pathfinder perhaps my favorite part of this episode was hearing the DM cheer on Bartha rolling hot.

Agreed. I understand the comment that it might take away from someone's ability to imagine a different version, but I in my opinion it doesn't make it worse. For eample because of the video I was already laughing at Lennon Parnham staring at John Gemberling even before came out with "I got a deposition tomorrow...". I got to see her be that character for more than just a line. Agreed again. Gemberling's head hanging was super funny, like he couldn't even look at them at points. I don't think any of the scenes in this episode suffered from being filmed.I love I4H as a podcast and from the earliest shows I have loved its ability to take advantage of the "theater of the mind" stuff. Like when they were all in Fat Susan's belly button enjoying a hot tub, or Colton Dunn's "hair did" descriptions, affair with the Sun, or the Butterfly Dad scenes. Those were better as audio scenes due to their inherent surreality.
