GOD. DAMMIT. I am 7 minutes in and I am crying laughing at my desk right now.

" it is quite literally the easiest thing in the world for you to not listen to the Tuesday show." Regardless of the subject I always hate that “just don’t listen” mantra as a way of rebuffing complaints. It’s a cop-out. Why have a “comments” section for each show if not to receive feedback from the listeners, be it positive or negative? While factually correct it would end any problems the op would have with the amount of Dan Van Kirk he gets with the show, it goess against the inherent interactive nature of podcasts. I don’t proclaim to speak for the original poster but perhaps he will move on if what he sees as a problem isn’t rectified. If enough people express the same sentiment I think that would be beneficial constructive criticism for the Sklars, and for Van Kirk as well, to receive.

I'm glad you guys did this movie, its so bad. Unfortunately I cannot stand Matt "Talks Over Everyone" Mira. Life is all about tough choices.

Best of improv4humans (*NOW TAKING VOL. 2 SUGGESTIONS!!)
Corky Kneivel replied to mattbesser's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
My TOP 5 #1 – “Juiced Up” – Colton Dunn, jill Donnelly, & Sean Conroy - Matt’s character, Jill’s character, and her description of men’s arousal “juiced up”. I cried laughing at that. #2 – From episode #32 with Sanz, Walsh, & Conroy – Speed Date Breakfast all the way till Walsh says his name is Dr. Jekyl 24:08 – 37:36 #3 – From episode #2 with Andy Daly, Chad Carter, & Sean Conroy – everything from “Curator” to the “Dating the Sunshine Band” – just incredibly funny. 13:19 - 28:35 #4 – From episode #4 with Andy Daly, Billy Merritt, & Danielle Schneider – The referee at the funeral #5 – From episode #15 with Brian Huskey, Seth Morris, & Danielle Schneider – “Magicians” 15:40 – 24:56 -
Fucking brilliant show today. This show has been really clicking for a while now but today’s show was exceptionally funny. There wasn’t a slow bit at all, everyone played smartly and sharply, and I really like Matt Besser in gamekeeper mode like he was in most of the scenes today. Lennon Parnham has been better and better in each appearance and I really liked the guy with the higher voice (I'm going to say it was Anthony king). There wasn’t a lot of distracting asides or people pointing out odd things for quick laughs at the expense of the scenes.

Holy shit they used the Bas Rutten clip as inspriation for a scene in the bonus cut. Holy shit I did just attempt to brag about that.
-
I love those Bas Rutten clips where he's teaching people to fight. The one where he simulates the sounds he hears in his head while connecting punches: "Danga-da-Danga-da-Dang!!" Or when he says "What about a shin kick...in the head?" Its silly & juvenile but the Hans & Frans style malaprops kill me.

Episode 36.5 — Live from DCM Pt. 2
Corky Kneivel replied to admin's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Oh man both of these live Del Close marathon casts have been fantastic. This show has been solidly entertaining for a while now and these two were a real treat. It was awesome that the second show ended with the best and funniest scenes. Did those 3 person rotations consist of improv teams that regularly perform together or were they just random UCB students? Since Matt asked who should be invited back I am going to try to answer. The difficulty comes from not knowing which voice belongs to which name when there isn’t a question for each person to begin with. Invite backs from the first one: Chris Cethard, Fran Gillespie, Tim Martin Josh Patton, Ryan Carels, Nate Dern (not sure who is who but they were all funny) Shannon Oneil (she was great) Langdon Kingsley was sharp & quick Invite backs from the 2nd one: The last group definitely, all 3 of them -
Episode 32 — Michael Cock Duncan
Corky Kneivel replied to admin's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
I’m not sure what it was about this episode but add me to the list of people driving, laughing, crying, & careening through different lanes on the freeway all because Horatio Sanz repeatedly calls the guy “homeboy”. Fuck that was funny. I don’t think I’ve laughed as hard at this show ever. Maybe during the episode months ago with the girl who kept getting pregnant and describing it to her father in graphic detail. -
Rough. Eisen stepped all over the Sklars and they could hardly get a word in when it was obvious they were going to make a joke on a topic. Once or twice I would think was just whatever but it actually got worse as the episode went on. Hard to get into, no riffs, no Bruce Valanches, and I blame Eisen because he never let Randy & Jason get into a groove. This was a blip on the radar though because they’ve been able to be hilarious with every other guest on the show.

Episode 20 — Darker Than Nougat
Corky Kneivel replied to admin's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
I don't know, Certified Bang-Outs & Caveman Room came from man on the street interviews and those were both fantastic bits of comedy. My problem with this one was that the perfomrers chose to just re-create the story as opposed to it inspiring something. -
Episode 19.5 — Tim Tebow Bonus Episode
Corky Kneivel replied to admin's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Awesome thank you so much for the bonus episode! Don't worry too much about it though,Tebow is most certainly being brought there as Sanchez inspiration material. He's the living embodiment of "Don't rest on your laurels, buddy...there are others". Hahahaha at real hatred right here: http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/jets-fan-predicted-deathbed-tebow-coming-memorialized-brooklyn-article-1.1049903?localLinksEnabled=false -
I cam in here to post In the Name of the King. Yes, please do this movie. yet another Ron Perlman, Jason Statham, Leelee Sobieski shitfest...I'm starting to spot a trend with the actors starring in these horrible films. I defy anyone to watch the 20 minutes of the movie and tell me what, precisely, is the story...or who anyone is...or what's happening...or where we are...or why we should care. So many great shots of extras just running around willy nilly. And Ray Liotta doing his best Ridiculous Cage.

Episode 31 — Birdemic: Shock and Terror LIVE!
Corky Kneivel replied to admin's topic in How Did This Get Made?
HOLY FUCK this movie is horrocious. I listened to this podcast 3 times and loved it so I figured I'd waste the 88 minute sor os it would take to wacth, fully prepared to see something awful. I had NO IDEA just how awful it could be. There's no way to prepare for something like this. Manos! Hands of Fate thinks this movie is poorly made. May favorite part of the podcast is when Al is convincing jason that "Imagine Peace" is a real website and Jason, initially not believing it, goes. "What. Is. Happening?" hahahaha -
Episode 18 — Time Traveling Bathtubs
Corky Kneivel replied to admin's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Hilarious: The "Old Country" of Michigan, you can't just get into a blow jobs in Heaven conversation with the Governor, the wild wild life of a Pharmacist, Shit Sucking for the President. Billy Merrit becoming one of my favorites. Thanks for the great show. -
Episode 17 — Chili and Cigarettes
Corky Kneivel replied to admin's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
I look forward to every Thursday because I know I get to listen to a new improv4humans podcast. I have listened to all of them at least twice and a few times ("juiced up", "Mr. Curator", "Belly Button Whore") the show has caused me to laugh so hard I cried here at my desk at work and I had to turn it off. I love this show. <--- self portrait of me listening Now that I've said good things...it was not a good show today. The first one I didn't finish, or enjoy really. There was just an overall lack of creativity to the games and somewhat stilted energy. Using the ankle thing as it was told in the monologue was boring and the best part of the car shitter was that it turned into the face borrower. The initiator in the 3rd scene was awkwardly setting it up and a minute in it still wasn't clear if they were at a post office or a guy's house. It sounded like the other performer was put in the spot where he had to define the unusual aspect of it. I just couldn't get into listening today and I am sorry I've only written on a day I'm complaining about a free show I listen to religiously.
