Tommy has told me INSANE Vince McMahon stories. Totally will have him on sometime.
Â
Vince McMahon, insane? Of course not

This is the first time I have straight up not understood the character(s) in the episode. Were they implying they killed their sister?

Where was the weather report?! How am I supposed to know what the weather was like in Los Angeles the particular day this episode was recorded?

^ two lauren lapkus face avatars in a row!
Â
Hellbaby is great. I rented it and Keegan Michael Key really does steal every scene, except for maybe the one Kumail is in, which made me cry laughing. All but two of the cast members are CBBpodcast vets, it's awesome. And that nude scene goes for a REALLLY long time

I love that Jon Daly is in the picture.
Â
Maybe this is the first case of a guest being completely cut out of an episode after recording. If anyone could take this mild racism way too far, Jon Daly can.
-
As unfair as it is, I think at this point live audiences going to a Bang Bang recording are unconsciously hoping for/anticipating one of the regular characters (whether PFT, Daly, Adomian, etc), and an original character has to do really well to get the audience on their side (the one that immediately jumps to mind is Taran Killam's Mars rover voice from the tour last year). For an audience member, they probably get to see a live Bang Bang once a year at best, so they want a guarantee that they'll find the character entertaining.
Â
Â
That's setting the bar so high though. I saw one Chicago show live last year, the one where Besser was that bizzare olympics mascot, and it was hilarious. I bet it had more to do with there only being like 20 people in the audience from what it sounded like.

I am going to listen to both eps tomorrow - how was the one with Ronna and Beverly?
Â
The Kindler/Todd Glass portions are hysterical. I'm generally not a fan of Ron and Bev but thier section was alright.
Â
I could listen to Kindler all day. I really hope he's the Chicago guest too somehow and does stand up beforehand.

Brent did one of the funniest characters ever on CBB and somehow the audience wasn't into it. Maybe it was just a Canada thing. I laughed out loud hard in my car maybe the most out of any episode I can remember. Or maybe this is a Vic Garcia (Adomian char on an old benson interruption) situation, where I think its goddamn hysterical and everyone else just doesn't seem to be into it. Anyway, these first two live episodes are great. I'm hoping for some longer ones in the future though.

Marcus sounds like the coolest dude in the world. I love how disgusted Scott and Nick were just by the name of the song Gotta Jiboo, and then when Marcus recommends the song, it's in the best stonery delivery "Gotta Jibboo maaan!". Laughed hard. Also, I'm surprised Rabin and Harris got along so well considering Rabin wasn't the most generous with his reviews of the latest season of Eastbound and Down. Especially this episode. That episode was hilarious and Rabin gave it a C+ because it too silly. TOO SILLY??! IT IS A COMEDY YOU DILLWAD! SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMMMMMMMSSSSS

After listening to this episode I immediately listened to the Peppermen episode and the holiday spectacular episode. Jon Daly is addictive.
-
I wasn't able to watch the live feed, but just listened to the podcast, and is there anyone more goddamn delightful than Todd Glass. Such a fun episode.
Â
A lot of people say that you can't have a podcast that's both serious and silly, but Todd Glass, a true comedian's comedian, flows back and forth so naturally you don't even notice.

These ladies were on JJGO a few months ago, and were great guests on there and I had never heard of them before. Glad to hear them again.

welcome to comedy bang bang.

Amy's sincerity toward end of the episode was heartwarming. I wish she could be on the show every week.
Â
Also, sorry Amy, but "I Wanna Be The Guy" is the name of a real game, I don't think this guy was a comedian, I think he was just very sad.

Top tier episode. Kindler is great on this show

A joke that seemed to be glossed over that I thought was awesome, was when they were saying Robert Redford would die on a horse, and the horse would know what to do and kneel down and roll him off onto the ground. Then Kulap said the horse would stomp him into the ground. The image of a horse gently rolling a dead person off its back, then just clobbering the shit out of the body stomping it on the ground is hilarious.

IT'S BEEN quite awhile since the last ep. I'm glad it's back.

This episode heavily features Scott enforcing continuity onto Horatio's crazy stories, which is delightful.

I always want to hate Jon Hamm, cause not only is he handsome but also funny and smart, its not fair. But then he wins me over cause he seems like a genuinely good guy
Â
Jon Hamm on the most recent Doug Loves Movies tournament of champions is a perfect human being. A modern wonder of this world.
Â
Here's a picture of him in a tuxedo with a beard:

Moshe on Who Charted, Neal on Sklarbro Country, DJ DOUGGPOUND on CBB next monday?!!? FUX WIT IT
-
There was most definitely a warning before the floor was closed. I feel cheated.
Â
But Scott did not say there was not going to be a warning so its fair.
Â
Lauren Lapkis is fastly becoming one of my new favorites, especially for saying pop.

Great episode EXCEPT for when Doug tries to set up Scott for an "It's not a tumor" when he says "I've got two more" at the end of would you rather and Scott doesn't go for it. TSK TSK Scott. ATTABOY Doug!

Yet another episode of the year contender. Horatio is a CBB All Star.
