Episode 97.5 β Bonus Cut: Intern Wars
Jackson1326657838 replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Nice, the livesteam comes up as a bonus cut! This was such an amazing experience to watch on youtube, I wanted to comment so many things right away (shout out to the return of the Pope!). Keep the intern wars coming!! -
"I wanna know legitimately if she knows what I'm talking about." Amazing meta performance.

You know, when I think about it. Scott kinda is my hero. My comedy hero.

Did this episode start in the middle or did my file download wrong? There was no intro or theme music, it just launched into a conversation about pelicans? -
Funny (ostensibly) story about the movie Paulie. It came out at the same time as Titanic. I went to the theatre with my family and we all saw Titanic. I hated it for the most part. It definitely didn't make me cry. For some reason we stayed and went to see Paulie right after. That damn wonderful bird movie made me cry.

Episode 160.5 β Sklarbro County 65

Hey, did this not get posted on the main page or what? -
For one, I didn't realize the purpose of this appearance was a "victory lap", nor did I realize everyone is mad at me. For two, I simply said "if you listened", that leaves plenty of room for people who don't listen. Finally, you do know that Earwolf is part of VPN, which is Adam Carolla's network don't you? Their shows are live streamed right along with his. It shouldn't be strange to assume that people know about the number one podcast in the world that is also partnered with Earwolf.

Kyle is steadily becoming a force of comedy, I love this show more every week. -
I don't exactly know what's happening, but I like it.

So Matt Besser is doing a character of himself? I'm pretty sure the stories he told in character were just his real experiences. Still funny but a bit too meta for me. Also, in general I'm dissapointed at the reaction to Jay Mohr. He's been doing this a long time and yet many people's reactions are, "oh wow, he ACTUALLY did well." I think it's super insulting. If you've been listening to his appearances on Adam Carolla, you're getting the same level of comedy. Not to mention he is a twenty year veteran of comedy since doing two years on SNL starting in '93. Jay is great, don't be surprised about it please.

Is it just me, or is Elizabeth a little more made up for this interview than normal? I think she might have a bit of a thing for Adam Nee.

This is really a thing of beauty. Not even Simon Cowell could criticize this. You could have got the point across in about thirty seconds, but this is an opus. Bravo. -

I don't think I have ever listened to a podcast where a full two minutes after it is over, I'm still laughing uncontrollably. Well done, very well done. -

I don't understand what Andy Kindler gains from hating on Adam Carolla. The people who like him aren't going to change their opinion and his critics are equally solidified in their positions. Then there are people who have never heard of him, and people who have, but just don't care about him enough to have an opinion either way. Adam Carolla is well known and recognizable from Loveline and The Man Show, while I can't think of a single thing that I can attribute to making Andy Kindler a celebrity. He does stand up, roasts, and occasionally makes guest appearances on various shows. But if I saw Andy on the street, I couldn't say, "Oh you're the guy from ___, I loved that show." Adam started his own business and has the number one podcast in the world. If all he does is spout hate masked as comedy there must be a huge number of people who are interested in that. If that were the case, why not just listen to Rush Limbaugh or something?
