This brings back loveline memories. Maybe they'll have David Alan Grier on next week. And then maybe follow that with Robin Williams and Andy Kindler to string together the most chatty kathys they can in a row.

I counted 5 separate times that Venus, the Bringer of Peace started in the background of Film Talk.

Wow, sooo good. The mo'nique expression. The Bane song; I agree with making an mp3 of that since the backing track was great. And I can never get enough of the Gelmania Live! harmonies.

Two Pauls, and Two Scotts. Nothing beats paul's first questions on WYR. Also, Nathan Lane should get credit as a guest for that little interjection from the frogs.

@Luke Yup, him and Ben Schwartz both have that quality on the show. Also, which show did Scott work on?

I'm so glad you mentioned that people thought Simmons sounded like TJ Miller. About halfway through the episode last week I thought he sounded just like ____, and I could clearly hear the voice but couldn't place the name for the life of me. Crisis averted.

I'm just a little bit into this episode, but Nick Kroll's character is giving me some serious Toph Shay vibes.

Hahaha, nice homage to the highlight of this episode Tom Brien. I'm glad you also immediately thought back to the awkwardly long surf rock riff.

Matt has never sounded so old when he was talking about Xbox Kinetic and the scrolls of elder. But he instantly recovered by doing what he does best, improv. Nice to get a second dose of the accent from this weeks CBB. Here's a youtube suggestion:

I almost lost my s*** at work during the New no-nos. The second one about paying the person to make noise was gold. This is definitely my favourite appearance by Paul Rust. And I really hope Ms. Lissler and Wompler can do a semi-regular podcast (earwolf presents).

Great Episode. And I really enjoyed Besser just listening to Chris, and then pouncing with some real good points and a real interesting explanation of improv. It felt as if Chris was really proud of his stories of f***ing with people, and somehow felt the need to get it out there, and his attack on improv was his loose attempt to do so. For the most part, after his first couple of justifications he went completely off the topic. Also, Take Shelter was a really good movie. And I agree the Michael Shannon is going to be the next big thing, because he's just too good of an actor not to be.

Episode 34 — Eric the Paid Intern
GarbageCan replied to admin's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
I guess I don't follow the forums enough to realize eric is an unpopular segment, but I thought I'd put it out there that I really enjoy them because of his and Matt's rapport. -
