Heynong Man, I gotta be real open and honest with y'all. There is probably never going to be a time where I will be able to tell y'all "On ____ day ___ will happen on Howl!" As we have seen since launch, there are just too many factors and you never know what might fall through at the last minute. So announcements will most likely only ever be made when something is done/ready to go/already in Howl. We always post about new shows on Twitter and our Facebook page when they come out, (which is every Wednesday) I will try to get better at posting on the forums when new stuff happens. For example, as of today, the iOS app has a sorting feature now which is pretty neat. But please let me stress again, if you ever have a specific Howl question and want an answer in say 48 hours or less, please email me at support@howl.fm. I try to remember to check the forums, but since it's not really my job anymore and I have so many other jobs now, I'm not as good at it as I should be. I will try in 2016 to announce anything and everything I have to announce about Howl here on the forums too. Sorry for dropping the ball gang. That email again is support@howl.fm. Use it. Love it.

Hey there, Unfortunately the way our backend is currently set up, we can't do gift subscriptions. But we hope to have a way to do this by next year. For now, I've been telling people you could create an email address that is just for Howl, sign up and go through checkout, get the payments all set up. And then you can share the login information with the gift recipient. Kinda clunky I know, but it might work better than nothing? It makes me sooo happy to hear that people want to share Howl with others, and I hope we have a simpler way to do that for you in the coming months.

Hey gang, We just released an Android update to the store a few minutes ago, it will fix: - New episodes missing - Audio now mutes when a call is incoming - App now remembers where you left off when you switch episodes - General bug fixes and other aesthetic updates There is also an iOS update on the way as soon as it is approved by Apple. Hey thisdudesweird, thanks for the feedback. Everything you mentioned is already in the works. Except the bluetooth thing which I haven't heard yet and I'll report it right now. And what you said here... is the best part of the Android app. Once we get these fixes done we can push them out right away so you won't have to wait as long as us Apple people who need the updates approved (it takes forevverrrrr) I understand the app isn't perfect at the moment, but we wanted you guys to be able to get in on it now and we can fix steadily as we go instead of you waiting another 6 months. Hey y'all. I'm going to try to explain this archive thing as best as I can... As is stated on Howl.fm multiple times, premium users get access to the remastered, ad-free archives. So, what counts as an archive? Any episode of a Wolfpop or Earwolf show that is older than 6 months old. Therefore any episode from about March(ish) this year until now will still be free for everyone, premium or not, and available on iTunes, Earwolf.com, wherever else you have always listened to it. These episodes WILL have ads, like they always have, because they are free to everyone. Once an episode "ages out" and becomes 6 months old, it will have it's ads stripped and will then only be available to Howl premium users and will not be on itunes, earwolf.com, etc. Just available on the Howl app or Howl.fm Why aren't the archives behind the paywall already/ Why am I still hearing ads on old episodes? To be fair to our Android user friends. When their app is ready in a few weeks all of this archive business will go into effect. Hey Jotchua, I only know for sure that there is one more episode of Hardcore Game of Thrones, but I have no idea if it will continue after that. A forum for Howl is in the works yes, but for now feel free to start threads about Howl shows here. (I'd suggest in General Podcasting maybe?)

New episodes will never be ad-free, only the old ones. Episodes that are 6 months old or newer are free for everyone, Howl premium membership or not, and will not be behind the paywall so their ads must remain.

This was explained in the 'Questions for Scott' mega thread, but basically Adam (our CEO) decided it was only fair to leave the archives alone until the Android app is ready in a few weeks.

UPDATE ANNOUNCEMENT!! There is a new update now available in the app store. This update should help with crashes, and fix the disappearing download issue entirely. You can also now toggle in settings whether or not you want your downloads to delete when you've finished listening. As always, send me an email at support@howl.fm if you have any questions or need any help with anything. If you run across any errors or possible bugs please let me know at that email as well so we can get started on fixing it asap.

ATTENTION: iTunes is not accepting our coupon codes.. if you want to use a host promo code for the 30 day trial you have to sign up on Howl.fm first and not inside the app. Very sorry about this, we would have announced it earlier but realized it too late. And to anyone having issues, I NEED you to email me at support@howl.fm I can't do much from the forums other than answer general questions, if you have an issue with your account PLEASE send me an email at that address so I can help you
