Tom Cruise. Tim Curry. Mia Sara. Some creepy ass german kid whose lines are all ADR and horrifying. UNICORNS. Made the mistake of renting the nearly two hour director's cut (I see here on the ol imdb that the theatrical release was 89 minutes) and I cannot express how much I hated this movie. I was expecting so much because I generally enjoy Ridley Scott and felt got very little back. Everything is cheap and small and not grand or legendary. At the beginning they are supposed to be lost in some giant forest but they are clearly in a very small studio and just running back and forth and uuuuuuugggghhhh. I also really don't find Tom Cruise all that adorable. Maybe I'm really really wrong on this one because some of the reviews I'm finding are calling it a MASTERPIECE (yes, in all caps like that) so what do y'all think? Is "Legend" Fuh-ucking Garbage as Jason would say, or is it actually awesome?

This was too funny. Like legitimately too funny. Super kudos to whoever is responsible for the phone sound effect, it really helps with the world building. It was the one thing I thought the Tom Leykis episode was missing.

Ahh this episode could have been 10 hours long... I think that's how long my boyfriend and I ranted about it after we saw it Thanks for taking Josh to task, because of people like him, I saw this movie expecting a really fun so-bad-its-good movie and was so goddamn disappointed at what a mess it was... did he just say female empowerment?!?! she was a straight up damsel the entire movie! She got carried like a baby by Channing Tatum far too many times... uugughghgh i'm still really mad that I spent $2 to see this at the discount theatre

I really felt for Scott and Benny when they couldn't remember the lyrics to "Maybe", and as usual I sang them louder in hopes that they could hear me through time and space and get it right. That's a good song. I laughed really consistently through the whole adventure but the, "FEEEEEEED THOSE FUCKIN BIIIIRDS" during the plug song caused me to collapse in tears Happy Solo Bolo Day everyone!

I finished this one and immediately started it over again. This is exactly the amount of laughing I needed this Monday. p.s. Justin Kirk was on my dolphin crush list back when Weeds first started and he was a lovely guest. I am jealous of all of PFT's cool friends
