Not all the time, but there are several "Director's Edition" episodes where the director or someone who stars in the film talks about it. The Lexi Alexander Punisher: War Zone episode is especially amazing. The one in question is at the end of the Wicker Man episode. Liam O'Donnell, who is one of the writers talks for a bit and it's pretty interesting to hear the source of all the problems that he acknowledged the gang had pointed out correctly. It's pretty interesting for sure.

haha I just posted a long rant about this in the episode thread. This song is just SO AWFUL. The way that all the notes seem to clash in such an unnerving way, the chorus honestly makes my stomach hurt. I also hate that the simplicity of it will also get it instantly stuck in my head at the mere thought of this scene. fucking Alexa.

I also want to talk about the fashion in this movie, but for a different reason. I understand it seems baffling and I don't disagree. But when I was watching this the other night for the first time since it came out I started having crazy flashbacks. 2003 was the year of my life that I spent the most time and money at the mall and I owned a variation of almost everything worn by the girls in this film. Initial shirts, like in the first scene, several pairs of white cropped pants, a million different halter tops. I even made a backpack (not a skirt, sadly) out of a pair of shorts and a bunch of men's ties. 2003 almost doesn't feel like 10 years ago, but it certainly looks it. Something I was sad no one mentioned is the evil cunt's solo song and how it's HORRIFYING and it sounds like a cassette tape that got left in the sun and melted because the backing track and the main melody directly clash with each other. Also, the backing track sounds like the a capella breakdown from Boys II Men's song "Thank You" but tuned up several keys. Honestly, that wouldn't surprise me at all if it was exactly that. Here's the audio if any curious people want to damage their ears forever This episode was AMAZING. I demand a million more like it.

Jon Daly is quickly becoming one of my favorite people. Everything he's done on Kroll Show so far has been amazing. I try to work "I'm the Michael Jordan of throwing Vicodin everywhere" into conversation as often as possible. I don't think I've laughed this hard at an episode in a while, and it got me in trouble today. I'm temping at a courthouse and I sit behind the window where people pay tickets and I was losing my shit over "gliggy gli ga gliggy gligga Glendale" and a guy who was yelling on the other side of the window was very unhappy at my display of joy. Totally worth it.

I tried to watch this movie once, but didn't make it very far because I found everything about it deeply unsettling.

That reaction is 100% unnecessary. Spend more than a minute in the movie suggestions board and you'll find that most threads are half people hating a movie and another half finding the mere suggestion of it horrifying. We're discussing things here. So YOU chill out.

YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS! that movie is a straight up masterpiece and probably one of the greatest things Judd Apatow has ever done.

Not your fault. The search thing is really finnick-y and doesn't like punctuation or more than one word or most words really. The way I usually find multiples is by sorting the threads by title and going through all 40 pages. It's kind of daunting. But I do it, because I want the suggestions to be fairly represented. It's way easier to see which movies people really want to see when they aren't split into five separate threads.

I've only seen this movie once and I feel like I got confused halfway through because Travolta is supposed to be Cage but one of them is bad and one is good or not(?) but they're playing each other and Nic Cage is the bad one at the beginning(??) aaand... YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY VERY excited for this next episode I also listened to the supercut about 15 times and laughed hysterically through the whole thing. I've been wanting to make something like that for a really long time, but now I don't have to cause someone did it better! The only thing I think that was missing was all the times Jason (or June) has complained about WET MOUTHS and WET KISSING. The way he emphasizes "wet" always kills me. Oh well, it'll just have to go on the soundboard.
