When the trailer started at the super bowl my brother was like, "when are they just going to turn these movies into twisted metal and just have car fights" and suddenly there were cars with rockets and tanks and apparently the Rock can fly and a car pulled a plane down and then came flying out of the plane... It really seems like they're just gonna super duper go for it in this one. Also, please tell me someone else can't see these movies the same after American Dad episode where it explained that they're written like hardcore gay porn and they just edit out the sex scenes so that all the raw sexual energy between the bros will still be present. It was a wonderful episode.

OMG I saw this movie after Hurricane Ike, there was no power in my town for 10 days and on day 4 my whole apartment of bored college kids decided to drive to the closest town with power and eat dinner and see a movie. We drove 2 hours and saw Righteous Kill. When discussing Devil's Advocate with my bf the other night I was trying desperately to remember the name of this film, and I do remember exactly three things about it. 1) Gratuitous De Niro sex scenes that hurt my brain. 2) 50 Cent. 3) Some kind of twist ending that I didn't see coming but I can not remember what that was now.

Hrm, I dunno... how are you posting them? The only way to make images show up on the board in non-attachment form is to upload it to an image hosting site (tinypic, photobucket, etc) and then click the little picture of a picture of a tree and paste the new image url and click "ok". If the photo already exists online you can just right click "save image url" and paste that one. If the image link is good it will immediately appear in the text box and everyone else will be able to see it when you click "post". Lemme know how it goes...

Also, this episode was so good I listened to it twice today. I love it when the gang gets worked up about movies but at the same time there's enough crazy movie material to do great bits (jason snoring, the screenwriter... amahzing) I still need to see this movie, I think I'm going to search for it next time I'm at the video store.

I too was totally fooled by Amy's impression for a little while. Like 5 minutes in I was waiting for "Sarah" to stop yelling or for Scott or someone to be like, "Sarah, why are you yelling?" and then I suddenly realized that I had been duped. I love hearing impressions of people that you wouldn't have realized had that distinct of voices until you hear someone else do it. Like when I heard James Adomian do Marc Maron and Todd Glass the first time I about died. Amy did an awesome job.

Great episode. The forum posts in question went down while I was gone so I just wanted to give a thank you and shout out to Pongo for keeping things on topic, and telling people to post in the appropriate threads. It warms my moderator heart. Totes. I also wish I had Matt's confidence to keep going in a confrontation like this. During the whole segment I just kept thinking about how if it were me the moment the caller started to agree I probably would have said "oh yeah no no no totally yeah I'm sorry like nevermind it's totally cool yeah sorry sorry" Honestly, the segment makes me hella uncomfortable but even with a warning I still listen because it's SO interesting but I'm also a huge chicken and they make me want to run away from my own ears.

We were the Pioneer Dancers (my elementary school mascot) and I don't remember winning, so I'd guess we did not. But we just loved shaking it to Space Jam COME ON IT'S TIME TO GET HYPED SAY WHOOMP THERE IT IS!

Oh! The nostalgia! My heart cannot take the sudden flood of joyous childhood memories. I'm so glad that website still exists, and none of the links are broken! It's like a perfect time capsule. I was just having a conversation yesterday with a group of people about how Jock Jams and the Space Jam soundtrack were like the two most important CDs of that time. At least that's how I remember it being at my elementary school and everyone else totally agreed with me. My 4th grade hip hop troupe did a competition routine to "Space Jam" and I still totally remember the moves.

As a native Californian living in Texas, I have been taking Huell's death pretty hard. I remember watching his show with my grandmother who is also gone now. I went looking for nice pictures of Huell and I found this one from the 70s that brings me immense joy.... Dolly Parton, Huell Howser, & Loretta Lynn Thank you James for loving Huell and introducing him to the rest of the world. I'm glad he will live on through you.
