  1. I was wondering this too. I have never heard of this Bamf thing before despite living in BC (yes Banff is in Alberta) for most of my life and having visited Banff many times.
  2. So much great content. I am still trying to decide what my favourite scene in this episode was. I certainly liked the hilariously meta skydiving one starring Dennis Franz. I agree with Matt about his take on improv. One scene I loved was from 3? episodes ago with the crazy youtube clip accusing the Grateful Dead of being Satanists.
  3. The satanic children selling scene has to be my favourite improv4humans scene so far. It is exactly how I would like to imagine how satanic children sodomizers sell children under gigantic Xs in San Francisco.
  4. Man I need to listen to these episodes right as they come out since I totally did not get the James Holmes reference other then the call back to the gun / gum thing. That is a quality joke.
  5. I haven't even listened to this and it is all ready my favourite episode. What a cast. Thanks Matt.

Okay I figured something like that happened. I saw Tim and Scott leave pretty quickly. Still a bummer though. But now that I know that it removes some of that bumming. Oh yeah, here is the boys thing.

Just got back from the Vancouver show. Patton Oswalt and Sarah Silverman were the guests! Of course , Tim Heidecker was there too. Although I'm super bummed that I didn't get to meet Scott since he didn't come out to meet people, unless he did and I missed in the 30 minutes I hung inside and outside the venue. I was really hoping to personally thank him for the comedy but for $20 to see Sarah Silverman and Patton Oswalt perform 15-20 minute sets. I really cannot complain.

Damn all this talk is making me so excited for tomorrow's Vancouver show. As for the episodes themselves I've been listening to them whenever I can (I've listened to about 4 now) but I've been busy and am saving them for when I get back to work.

    I love Matt Besser.

    Episode 167 β€” New No-Nos

Imagine a podcast with Harris Wittels and Marissa Wompler. I fully support and would gladly donate money to a Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham as Wompler / Lissler. Two incredibly funny females.
  12. I also would love to hear Matt talk about comedy. I love listening to these podcasts and picking up on little improv tricks. But I have to wonder, how much is there to teach in improv? Like I've heard there are many different levels (or something) and I have no idea what that means. Are there advanced improv techniques or what? It seems like there are a few basic ideas (yes-anding, find the gist of the scene, listening to others) and from there is just a matter of practice. Can someone please inform this ignornant mathematician?
  13. I love Lennon (and coincidentally I am listening to the Beatles) and it's great to hear two females on the show. Also, apparently that little girl knows TWO numbers, 0 and 1. 0 is a number. Seeing all this stuff about Chris Gore makes me wonder who the hell he is. I honestly have never heard of him before today.
  14. I'm being serious here but I actually though that El Chupacabra was literally a Chupacabra. I always thought it was hilarious that there was a talking animal in the studio.
  15. I cannot wait for the Vancouver show now. CANNOT WAIT. Also loved the episode so very much. I need to go listen to Farts and Procreation again.
  16. Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes. I love you Scott Aukerman. 3 of my favourite peope together again. I am all ready laughing and I haven't even listened.

    Episode 165 β€” Hoo-ah!

I normally not a huge fan of the musical guests but Loudon Wainwright III was freaking hilarious. It definitely seemed to get it and had a good sense of humour. Also I love Andy Kindler and his dissection of the game Who Said It. To me there is something so funny about someone not getting the joke immediately and trying to figure it out. That and then making fun of the premise of the game as it goes along. Hilarious.

Episode 164 β€” Clifton Was Here

Wow, I haven't even listened to this episode yet and it is already controversial. I don't know where I stand on Andy Kaufman's work. I get the idea and point he is trying to make but I don't find it funny nor that clever. Maybe it's a byproduct of being born after he died and growing up with a completely different understanding of comedy that makes it more annoying then comedy. I find the same with Richard Pryor; a great comedian but I listen to his albums and it simply hasn't aged well and the humour is a product of his time.
  20. As someone who has actually met Stephen Hawking, the situation of his life is actually really depressing. I remember seeing him around the place I was working and he had to have his assistant wipe the drool off his face. It was really depressing. Plus it takes him hours to respond to questions since he has to go through this meticulous process of selecting each letter and what not. My supervisor at the time asked him a question and it took him a good three hours to get a two sentence response. Also a second for the immediate "why can't Jews cook?". Good start. By the way, back in the day Stephen Hawking was a motherfucking ladies man. He got a lot of pussy.

    Comedy Bang Bang on tour

I will go regardless but a guest list would be nice. Still, at the end of the day any special guests beyond Scott and Reggie is icing on the cake.

    Episode 39 β€” Godzilla

"That's a lot of fish". By the way, my favourite review from the French amazon "Godzilla est un super film , a conseiller livraison très rapide, excellent qualité a couper le souffle. Une image et un son au top. " 5/5 etoiles

    Episode 163 β€” Burning Love

How was I unaware of Burning Love? It seems like something I must have known about but forgot about. I'm an idiot. Also, why must the show in Vancouver be during the week I'm away from the city! I must try and commandeer a car a vehicle and get my ass to that show.
