    EPISODE 5 - Mars Base 3

Marc doing the multiple interruption cut to's at the begining was really funny. That's dumb.

    EPISODE 348 — Is Y'all My Daddy?

Is it just me, or do people not understand what the definition of 'hate' is anymore?

    Episode 202 — Pickup Artist

I said that it was probably bad in context, and that I didn't listen to the episode, or agree with pick up stuff. I just feel like there's nothing wrong with that statement in a vacuum, and your post made it seem like that sentence was your breaking point. I was just trying to clarify. A universal fairy tale, wherein a character changes her mind in regard to her feelings about another character is a bad example? Okay. That's why I also said that I've changed my mind about people. Luke's post mattered to me because that sentence was singled out as evidence of the guy's scumminess... But there's nothing wrong with that quote if you don't know the context. Everyone is allowed to change their minds and first impressions aren't everything. All I'm saying is that context is as important as content... Even though nobody is arguing otherwise. I just posted that for myself.

    Episode 202 — Pickup Artist

I'm not defending this guy, I don't do that pick up stuff, and I didn't even listen to the episode... But that statement is true, in a vacuum. Every person's first response isn't always that they think later. They have a right to change their minds when more information becomes available to them. I've met plenty of people I disliked at first and was ultimately fine with, and vice versa. For example, woman like Belle might be freaked out by the Beast in Beauty and the Beast, but falls in love with him. Her first response wasn't what she thought by the end. However, applying that statement to something scummy and date rapey in a 'no means yes' kind of way is a whole other can of worms. (And I'm sure that's what this guy meant.) I just feel like that sentence alone isn't that bad, it's the intent with which it's said that determines that.

    EPISODE 2 - A Mechanic's Garage

No wonder why DC has been so successful; I mean, the ingenuity of the writers to come up with unique names like Batman AND Man-Bat? Truly staggering!

EPISODE 107 — Lake Placid: LIVE!

As a Maine resident I must call attention to the fact that there is no way a crocodile would survive here. All crocs are tropical and can't deal with the cold... Let alone the fact that Aroostook County (the setting) is THE MOST NORTHERN COUNTY IN THE STATE. The average annual temperature is about 40 degrees, and under freezing for 4 straight months during the winter. The lake would be frozen for about half of the year. Unless Betty White is keeping it nice and toasty in a special set up in a barn or something, there's no way it would live for years. It might make it through one summer if it arrived at the right time. ------ I listened a few days ago so I might have forgotten something, but here's my back story. Roll with me on this one... So, if we're in this world where the croc could survive up there, how about the fact that they can live to be incredibly old? I'm talking up to 70-100 years old. What if it followed her husband home after he was 'fishing' AKA fighting in the Pacific during WWII? It followed his ship all the way back to the U.S., through the Panama Canal and up the east coast. At the time of this movie there were still a couple naval bases in Maine. Having completed his service he was discharged. He immediately went to his land in Aroostook and settled down. (I'd have to consult maps to be sure, but theoretically there should be a lake near enough to a river where the croc could follow the husband. Because he obviously took his own personal boat from the shipyard to his home.) So, the croc also settles at this lake and lived for 50 years; becoming an ever-increasing burden on their lives and a constant, monstrous reminder of the atrocities of war. A manifestation of PTSD if you will.

    WOMP IT UP NEW PODCAST

  9. You might want to say 'natsies' out loud.
  10. Definitely my favorite, or second favorite episode. Things escalated to the fun-th degree. Then you aren't living.
  11. Great episode. I really liked Shannon and Horatio's chemistry. They both went to weird places in scenes and seemed to get a kick out of each other for having done that.

EPISODE 336 — NOT Farts and Procreation 4

Wow, I can't wait to listen... Talk about having one left in the chamber. Thanks Scott and crew. I know this hasn't been easy, but thanks again for all the laughs.
  13. It's that time again folks. It's been about a year, and I just listened to the OG Farts and Pro again. I have to request, nay, demand, another installment. Who's with me?

    Episode BO2014.4 — Best of 2014 Pt 4

Not to start a whole thing or sound like I'm attacking you but, what?! Andy Daly, PFT and Wompler episodes comprising the top 5 means everything is right with the world. They epitomize the show to me. They are dark and strange, yet silly and absurd; there's both continuity and freedom. I'm not sure how it could get more unique. Andy Daly a stone cold genius. Most of the time you won't hear something that good scripted, and he did it live. It's impressive to just talk as two characters, let alone a dozen, while being forced into things by Zouks and Scott. That was undeniably great.
  15. Unbelievably good. It was really neat to hear all of the characters naturally flesh themselves out over the three episodes. Colton and Charlie brought some new stuff to the table for this third installment, and that let Matt basically go into full director-mode. I'd love to see this kind of thing again. Oh, and the, "that was as cold as _____" chunk was hilarious.

    Episode BO2014.1 — Best of 2014 Pt 1

So I'm 0/4 and one of my votes was for a 'just missed'. Tough being so unique. Paul and Scott are almost too good together.

    Episode 165 — OkStupid

I've only gotten throught that scene and Gabrus landed that so well that I had to come post here. I was thinking there might be too much build up to be satisfying, but he nailed that. I laughed hard.

    Episode 326 — 2014 Holiday Spectacular

Aimee Mann is pretty and talented; heck, I'd even go so far as to call her pretty talented! I had no clue her and Ted Leo just released an album. Weirdly enough, I first saw Leo on the Human Giant 24 hour marathon when he played 'Me And Mia' and improvised when his amp switched off: Check it out here. I was sold. (Scheer appears to be sitting at the table in two photos for this episode too.) Christmas and Anniversary episodes always kick it up a notch. I couldn't ask for more. Thanks Earwolf, Choctaw, and the guests.
  21. Hahaha, the libertarian part totally threw me. I literally said, "What?" when she dropped that. For a second I could sort of understand her trying to distance herself from the feminist descriptor since a lot of people online just say, "Feminists are assholes"... But then I thought about how she said she would approach the guy on the cell phone submissively. It seems like there's a weird male/female dynamic going on in her brain on top of all this other be nice/put people in their place stuff. That lady is all over the place, and honestly she tired me out with the voraciousness with which she spoke. Besser trying to get her to stay in a scene was hilarious.

    Episode 99 — A View To a Kill: LIVE

Just started listening and had to post the Jenny Flex = Genuflects thing that I instantly though of... Guess I was beaten to the punch. Definitely a blowjob thing. Plus, 'flex' alone is so obviously body related that the pun doesn't quite matter for kids/dummies.
  23. I'm not above admitting that I thought 'LOL' was 'Lots of Love' when I first got on the net many moons ago.
  24. I really liked the Betsy and Sanz dynamic in this one. Keep doing what you want with the show. In my everyday life I generally don't listen to the kind of music that's in the musical episodes, but it's solid. That style works for the show because these singer/songwriter guys put real stories and emotions into their songs, and that translates into cool scenes. Case Closed is what it is. It'll never be a totally fair discussion or debate but it doesn't need to be. I like angry Besser scenes that come from it. The Sexy Robot Warning is all you need. People that bitch can fast forward. It's not like holding a button down is taxing.
