Rotten Tomatoes: 15% Just based on the bizarre makeup & the length this movie goes to just to provide a premise, 'White Chicks' deserves to be considered. It actually did exceptionally well at the box office yielding $113M worldwide with a production budget of $37M...still doesn't mean that it's not an INSANELY concieved & executed movie. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/white_chicks/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rr_SY-1Z5vg

I find your run-of-the-mill action flick 'dreddful' & the parts that churn my stomach the most are cheesy taglines to killmoves. [Raspy Stallone Voice] "Court Adjourned" How could anybody be that witty with the pure adrenaline of just having had your life at risk is beyond me. Diane Lane also chimes in with "Judge Bitch" after dropping her foe in the catfight...whew, sucks.

Episode 37 — Speed 2: Cruise Control
TimThompson replied to admin's topic in How Did This Get Made?
I caught that too...terrible. Reminded me of the start of 'Cool As Ice'. Both are at the start of the movie, there must be a bad movie directors workshop on that scene. -
The hosts have an audio engineer & the capability to edit any of the audio you heard. They are obviously fine with whatever product they put out. You're accusing them of being intentionally insensitive & you're trying to platform your moral filter on their work. I like the unique product they create & don't want to see your hypersensitive filter show up in the show. This podcast isn't a campaign for political office. If it were I'm sure the hosts would apply the necessary tact & discretion that you desire.

You can be offended all you want. Why do I have to hear about it though? People go through life hearing offensive statements the world over. Why do you think I care if you are personally offended? If you were really personally offended I wouldn't be hearing about because you'd keep it to yourself. This is a fansite so negative, accusatory comments about the show don't really have a place. If anyone is truly collectively offended please take time out of your day to create an anti-fansite & see all the crazy traffic you get.

'Yo Boys' is way too offensive...We call those people 'aladeens'. Makes it a lot less confusing & isn't as offensive to aladeens or aladeens.

Due to the potential subject matter of this week's podcast here's a preemptive advisory for sensitive listeners. ***The views expressed by HDTGM do not necessarily reflect the opinions of their nonexistant sponsors***

I'll take what I can get since the podcast is tomorrow...thanks Shannon.

Im having a hard time finding this movie. Amazon, Zune & Netflix don't have it. Any suggestions on where to find it?

This is probably the best guest spot I've seen on a late show. Norm MacDonald roasts this movie right in front of the co-star, Courtney Thorn-Smith. She's there to solely plug this movie & even she can't stop herself from laughing. Good choice...I've seen this movie & its out there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lL0WayC7jW0&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Instead of being personally offended & perhaps deciding that this podcast is not your cup of tea, how do people get to be collectively offended & take it upon themselves to write out a retort? The vigilanteism over something so petty is astounding. People overly concerned with political correctness should not look in the comedy genre for their entertainment. Let me be the first to put an official Listener Advisory Warning: ***Comedy is not for sensitive listeners, especially free comedy, it will most certainly offend***

Not trying to dick-move anyone but the thread pinned to the top of this forum topic, is below. It applies to this thread. And I also agree, Jack & Jill is wretched. http://forum.earwolf.com/topic/6628-mod-note-please-check-existing-threads-before-posting-a-new-one/

Anybody catch when Rolfe was really angry on the phone with Sally & started saying all these curses about himself? He's interrupted when he turns & sees Kate Beckinsale. The last words he says is "I'm a fart..." Where was he going with that curse word? Fartface? That's the only one I can think of. Whatever word you put after fart though is pretty lame with as pissed off as Rolfe was.

'Great Balls Of Fire' is probably one of the worst biopic movies ever created. Dennis Quaid does one of the most horrendous southern accents known to mankind, sounds like he is mocking people from the south. This movie serves more as a slam of Jerry Lee Lewis. He's portrayed as a completely unlikeable, unredeeming character, which begs the question as to why the film would even be made to begin with. Don't fret, there are some WTF moments in this...A smitten young gal in a fringe leather jacket goes into a full on, standing seizure just from listening to the very first live verison of Lewis's "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On". ...A recipe for this movie might go something like this: - Add 1 part, Cooky Quaid Faces - Mix, Moderately Offensive Southen Accent - Sprinkle, Incestuous Marriage with a Dollop of Pedophilia - Glaze, 1 Seizure in a Fringe Leather Jacket - Bake for a runtime of 1hr 48min, or until nausea induced

Well done on this recommendation...this movie should be the HDTGM benchmark.

RIVETING!...Absolutely riveting piece of cinema for HDTGM. I was completely engrossed with every confounding scene of this wretched movie. You know Gary Oldman is the type of actor who immerses himself into roles. What I find humorous is the uncomfortable amount of time that Oldman spent on his knees, not just on set but off, just to fill this role. I think this is the keystone movie of HDTGM's podcast. It fits all the HDTGM criteria to a tee, from A-list actors to completely confounding subject matter, plot & premise. Hats off to whoever submitted this as a recommendation.
