    Sphere (1998)

I love the metrics on this one...sounds really promising.
  2. Wow...that was really bad. That kind of acting is what I despise about action flicks. Everything is so built up to make the protagonist a badass...when its over done it truly is terrible. This has my blessing to be a candidate just based off of those Klein clips...yuck.

    Episode 34.5 — Minisode 34.5

I've never even heard of this movie & Im a bad movie connoisseur. Great thing about Gary Oldman is, for better or worse, he'll sell out his performance 100 percent... which, from the sound of the trailer, looks like we'll have 100 percent of high-intensity crap this week In the vein of Tropic Thunder, Gary Oldman has 'Gone Full On Midget'.

    Take Me Home Tonight

Gotta good feeling that this movie will be the focus for this week's episode. Off topic, it's been a while since they've done a movie that's still in theaters. It'll probably be a movie that's in theaters now that I think about it...but the week after has 'Take Me Home Tonight' written all over it.

    Take Me Home Tonight

29% on Rotten Tomatoes...Box Office Yield: 6.9M This movie has a lot of zany unbelieveable action that could be fun for the show. It's bad...there's no mistaking that, but there are a couple of wild parts that leave you ponderous. There's also a character who'd I'd describe as a 'broke-ass Jack Black'...His acting style is delivered with the intensity of a bucking bronco, coupled with all the hilarity of a really long funeral procession. For good HDTGM measure, the very song the movie is titled after is not even played during this movie...HDTGM? They Live (1988)

Great movie with a cool premise. Minor budget but still made a cool flick under those circumstances. I thought Roddy was a cool action protagonist & I really don't like action movies.
  7. Anybody catch the Stern Show reference from Jason at minute 28:45? He drops Ronnie The Limo Driver's newest catchphrase...'Whoa, whoa, whoa...stop the clock' Even though Ronnie intentionally came up with this catchphrase as a goof it's still sweeping the Stern listening nation.
  8. I gotta save the full podcasts for the end of the week. Wish I could chime in but Im waiting for FRI or SAT. Anyone catch Pluto jumping over the earth?...What a broke-ass nursery rhyme concept.

    Bloodsport (1988)

I agree, 'Bloodsport' made JCVD a household name. He did some stinkers at the end of his Hollywood run that certainly qualify for HDTGM. Being that Dennis Rodman's lifetime vocation was professional basketball, I'd be willing to bet that 'Double Team' stinks to high heaven. I've never seen 'Double Team' but I'm envisioning a high karate kick of a basketball at some point during that movie.

    Take Me Home Tonight

Well, you'd be wrong...You know how I know 'Take Me Home Tonight' is a great, bad movie candidate... It has Demetri Martin in it. Although a great comic & funny man, his silver screen pursuits have blown up in his face. Every movie he's played in has been a bust at the box office. Poor bastard must have PTSD from all the celluloid shrapnel he's taken. Episode 33 — Abduction

Last note for 'Abduction'... Anyone remember the 90's football movie called 'The Program' with James Caan? There was scene where the kids lie in the middle of the highway & let cars fly by them to prove their courage. Of course there had to be some copycat occurances that led to a fatality or two. Parents were outraged & they had to cut that scene from the movie after its release. ...In 'Abduction', an untethered Jacob was doing 60mph on the hood of a car. There was absolutely NO negative recourse ever came of that. No parents got angry, no kids were hurt, no copycats killed, no negative press, no internet warnings...nothing. I guess no one was dumb enough to pull this stunt or watch this movie.

    Take Me Home Tonight

You need to 'Put some relish on your hawt dawg!'. Supposedly that means you need to live it up a little...one of the numerous terribly delivered lines by the Bo-Bo Jack Black.

    Episode 33.5 — Minisode 33.5

Yeah...being that this is a free podcast I can see where they have to get creative when it comes to acquiring some sustaining revenue. This is a pioneering venture so people should be expecting more covered wagon and less luxury vehicle. I haven't had the displeasure of watching Pluto Nash so needless to say I'm looking forward to catching that in my home dootie theatre this weekend.

    Jack and Jill (2011)

The still that heads this link looks like the fictitious movie posters that line Sandler's house in 'Funny People'. Razzie Sweep For 'Jack & Jill': http://insidemovies.ew.com/2012/04/02/adam-sandler-jack-and-jill-razzies/e

    Jack and Jill (2011)

This has been posted before but this title has more topical relevance since it swept EVERY category at the Razzies, presented on April 1st, 2012. I'm a longtime Sandler fan but watching this movie reminded me of Mike Tyson's last bout where he just sat in his corner too tired to put up any more fight in his weary career...felt sad & had to look away at times. More impressive about the Razzie sweep is that Sandler had to win worst actress to do it...which he does convincingly. Al Pacino also embarrasses what is left of his movie career in this steam pile. This movie is upsettingly bad.

    Episode 33 — Abduction

Anyone offended by this week's podcast should contact the copious amount of show sponsors & have your complaints heard. ...Let's see how HDTGM feels when it finally dawns on them that they've killed the cash cow that is free podcasting.

    Episode 32.5 — Minisode 32.5

Thanks for reading my question on air, HDTGM! Big fan of the show since I found it during episode 3. I was one of the first 100 fans of the Facebook page as well. ..And yes, I am petty enough to cite multiple instances of how much longer I've been listening than most. Made my day, Tim

    Episode 32 — 88 Minutes

Thank you, HDTGM for the longer episodes. The hour long episodes of HDTGM make the juice worth the squeeze.

    From Paris with Love (2010)

This movie turns my stomach. You're right, they just sledgehammer the fact that Travolta is an undisputed badass. Ole' T-volt gets rolled up on by 4 or 5 guys & guess who wins...surprise, surprise. Then there is the bullet to the head bluff call, of a woman nonetheless. T-volt just blows some girl's head away on a complete lark...movie's crazy.

    Episode 31.5 — Minisode 31.5

The phrase 'Tick-Tock, Doc' is said with the same frequency as the word 'Leverage' is in Battlefield Earth...HDTGM?
  21. I don't think ICP is mainstream enough for this to be considered a failed movie. Pretty much anything made with them in it is certified failure so the HDTGM question probably wouldn't be necessary. Production value actually isn't too bad considering what we're dealing with...I think it's better than Tremors 4: The Legend Begins ...See if you can tolerate Michael Gross's western guy performance in that.

    Bio-Dome (1996)

I think it's the fact that it was one of the last Shore-lead movies. He was pretty much wrenching out the last bits of creativity of his California dude routine. That coupled with a dreadlocked Stevey B unsuccessfully trying his own zany Cali dude bit just made for bad cinema. ...You can only 'weeze the juice' for so long.
  23. TimThompson

    Bio-Dome (1996)

I agree...probably the worst of the Pauly Shore movies other than Jury Duty. I actually like some of the Shore movies like Encino Man & In The Army Now. There's certainly some movies at the tail end of Shore's career however that would make a good HDTGM episode.
  24. When all you have is a shoestring movie budget, Zelda Rubenstein, & the Two Coreys...you'll have National Lampoon's Last Resort. This movie did not pass go, it did not collect $200, it went straight to video in 1994. Any movie director that grants complete wardrobe freedom to a Michael Jackson mimicking Corey Feldman, begs to be asked the question...HDTGM? http://www.rottentom...ns_last_resort/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_Oo1p-F8x4
