That was the moment that actually made me question if this was a joke or not.

How fuck did I love Mary's 'Coffee-Shop Manager'. -
OH BOND YOU'VE MADE ME SO HAPPY!
-
BBBONNND! Just....one...more...question. how british am i?
-
"Did you know him Horatio?" "I did, very little." Amazing.
-
I love the moment Horatio just goes all in, 'She has fun and I get off.' Like you can hear him just deciding, 'This has been fun and all the plugs are pretty well done so let's get nuts.'
-
And if they're in a relationship already? Well that's not a problem because if they see someone get assaulted in the street all you need to say is, "Love hurts" or whatever nonsense he said happened.
-
It was just terrific! I wish they gave awards for podcasts for sound mixing because Chad deserves one for that sequence.
-
That was you! I couldn't tell if that was the caller still or Horatio. Congrats man! You are part of one of the best moments in podcast history!

Isn't that crazy? I'm almost 40 and during my college years I would have been more than happy to blast them and mock them (as it was still a pretty strong group in East Texas at the time) and anyone with them. Now, as a father I am terrified (crazily) that just by talking about it I'm somehow attracting those sort of negative energies to my own children. On another note, I always think back to the people I knew were associated with this 'church' and who they sought out, like a woman with two kids that had just buried her husband. They just looked for the most emotionally injured people and tried to exploit that weakness. Anytime now I see churches that focus on outreach programs to women like that and my instict is not to see a group trying to help people, but one trying to suck them in when they are most vunerable.
-
My mother started to take us (my sister and I) to such a church (not really ready to say where) pretty soon after my father died when I was a child but we left very quickly. I don't remember it but before she passed away she gave me a great piece of advice that I've always carried in regards to my kids. She said everyone was nice and welcoming, but they were too focused on separating the children from the parents and the siblings from one another. She told me that any group that attempts, no matter how innocently it seems, to cut down on people who would interfere in the event of misdeeds being witnessed, is doing it for bad reasons. Sure enough, about ten years later I saw that three of the leaders were in prison for various child charges.

Yeah? What up, what up with that?

One of the best episodes yet. -
OH GOD! THE CREEP DUET! Best episode yet.

Yeah, that had to be on purpose. They could not have any of these sponsors ads coming up right after the insanity that had been said right before that break.
-
Not sure who said it, but I finally remembered which one it was! http://www.earwolf.c...sode/s-m-a-s-h/

But with this guy's context, you have to think it sounds pretty bad, right? If this was a salesperson or a motivational speaker, then that's one thing. When the guy's entire object is to get in with those 'pieces of ass' (respectfully)....then it's a little worrisome. I mean, why does he even need to worry about this when he's got that crazy strong 'kite' analogy to lead with?
-
His best point was his early one, "So, are you a sociopath?" Pretty much.
-
I couldn't help it and listened to the whole thing. I did not see the surprise 'By the way, I was accused of murdering someone once' ending coming.
-
"A woman's first response isn't always her real answer." Whoa. ANNNNNNDDDDD stopping the podcast.
-
Okay....I retract my anger about last week. I want to go back to Tig's flirting and have her host this one. This guy was just awful.
-
I think there are times it is petty, but I think this is apples and oranges. Clearing the CBB one wasn't a geinue discussion. No one was talking about actually going and doing that. On this one Tig seemed to legitimately believe Rebecca was one and then was surprised to learn you aren't supposed to use that word. But I see your point.
-
I don't think there is a single other CBB character that can just say the most insane stuff and still make me laugh so hard.
-
Er....me too! I meant, Rebecca can be. (sigh)
