I think even before they did that batch there was friction where he seemed like he wasn't having a great time in the hatch. During the huge batch recording it was really evident, of course, but even earlier he just wasn't the same as he had been at the start of the program. Now he seems like the David we fell in love with.

David seems so much happier than he did a few months ago. Love the positivity.

Oh wow! That makes me love it even more. The idea that his arrival was planned makes it even more bat shit crazy.

I get what you're saying. Michael Jackson was mocked because he may (probably) have been guilty of some horrible crimes. The other people mocked (like a baby being f*cked) were all fictitious. Kanye's mother did nothing wrong and died of an accident during surgery. I wasn't offended, but I totally get what you mean by that being a little over-the-line for you.

I'm not actually sold on the idea that Horatio was supposed to be there at all. His arrival seemed to surprise everyone and didn't come at a natural moment and Scott seemed thrown for a second.

I think the best part of this movie is how genuinely surprised everyone in the facility seems to be. Half the characters seem to have not known there were sharks at all, the other half didn't seem to understand how smart they were making them and how fragile their protection system was. Genuinely delightful to think that most of the reactions are, 'Holy shit! There are a lot of really smart, crazy dangerous sharks around here! Who knew?'

Good point. Probably just not easy to keep it all straight with four people on stage, three of them with multiple-character histories and some of them doing multiple-characters during a show. At a certain point he may just be looking at them and trying to remember exactly who or what he's speaking to. Also....BLECH.

Kanye's arrival actually startled me.

Good news about this week's movie is that there is a 95% chance it is on TV right now, no matter when you are reading this, no matter what time it is.

Terrific episode. Quick question. While he was talking about his brother and sister-in-law both being actors, did he say, 'Their kids are dim.'? That's hilarious.

I absolutely loved that you can pin-point the exact moment Andy runs out of material/desire for the premise.

HA! Totally forgot about that! Only PFT can get thrown a character in the middle of a show and turn it into the most memorable part of the whole thing.

I heard that part tonight while making dinner for the family and my wife had to come check on me because she thought I was sobbing because I was doing that 'laughing-so-hard-I-am-gasping-for-breath' thing.

Played this part back 15 times. Just wrecked laughing so hard.

Now we should stress, you are not a person doing a character.

#1, because you said 'it pains me'. If it upset you so much, why go to lengths to complain? Just keep it to yourself. #2, you posted twice about how you didn't like the guests. We got it. No need to repeat it. It just feels like we have more than enough complaints in the world, no need to bring it here. If you had some constructive criticism, that's one thing. But you're just repeating you don't like the guests. Why? What's the point?

Seriously. What was the deal with posting halfway through that they didn't like the guests and then posting it again? Just working so hard to tear something down for no reason than to just make sure people who don't really care, know your opinion. I hate this.

I love you guys, but I can totally wait extra weeks between episodes if that means we don't miss June.

I was in Houston three years ago for my mother's funeral. I was standing downtown at an intersection waiting for the light to change and I looked next to me and there was Big Poppa Pump. I was pretty deep in mourning (drunk) and just stared at him for a minute and then said, "You're Scott Steiner?" He nodded and said, "Yeah." Stared at me for a second (I assume waiting for me to either ask for an autograph or say something), then we both went back to looking at the light. Point of the story is, he knew to wait for the light to change to cross. He didn't need a flag system. (still about the only memory of that weekend I have)

Their shared earnest love of GH was pretty endearing.
