Episode 324 — Golden Duchess Cruise Lines

Not to start anything here, but it really bums me out that someone always has to comment on the physical appearance of the female guests. I know the above 'such a cutie' wasn't that bad, but it does feel like it happens every time. We don't do that with the male guests and it just feels crappy.- 110 replies

Episode 2 — The Betsy Podcast
Lukas Holmes replied to JulyDiaz's topic in With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus
There is a list of people I've gotten introduced to via podcasts that if I see their name pop up, I can't rush fast enough to get the episode. Betsy is very close to the top of that list. I love how much we get to see her shine in this one. Terrific stuff. -
Guys, I'm starting to think Tig might be in a relationship.

Well, like the pants I bought at the thrift store that had crabs in them, THEY'RE NEW TO ME! -
I would not watch that show until I heard THE CHAMPS talk about it. I just assumed it was going to be a horrible farce.

This was just GREAT! I was fascinated by the idea that the Korean culture that his parents remember is gone and only exists in America with those that came over during that time period. That is a fascinating cultural time-capsule idea I've never heard of. ABC has really bummed me out this year. They had some pretty good shows (Manhattan Love Story was actually pretty funny) that they give terrible names to, change times on constantly, and then do almost no good promotion for. It's infuriating. I can't believe that it is cheaper to cancel a show and stick reruns in its place of something else during a season. In the era of ROKU's and DVR's and all streaming, it seems like you have to let a show get a season under its belt and then see how the numbers are after a season can be accessed in full, Netflix style.

This was one of the funniest ones yet. The way everyone kept talking over each other and about different topics 'She should get that money she helps get over rapes' while...'You can't just get a license to fly a plane'. Priceless.

Wow. As the show as closing, not even Nostradamus could have predicted that question from Physic Andy.

I wanted them to just keep trying to think of weird names of games for ten minutes. -

I have to agree. At times Pete feels like he is faking it to keep from upsetting people around him. I hope..NAY...I pray that one day he just snaps. -

That's so perfectly said. On the surface, if you described him to me, I would think 'there is nothing there for me', and yet I can't get enough of him. -

Arbys has been the punchline of jokes for 30 years. Fun side note, my mother used to be an accountant for a company that owned a bunch of Arbys in Colorado. As part of her benefits, her family were all given special cards that got us 50% off any arbys. In the 10+ years she worked there, we ate at Arbys three times. It's. That. Bad.

Oh my god, this is a real thing?

ALSO! The end you can hear when they are talking about drafting people in the tickle-draft that Tig has no idea how a draft works. Which is, essentially, the foundation of fantasy sports. Topic. COVERED! -

Did you notice David cutting off Kyle when he tried to ask legit questions? I thought that was spectacular. -

Why did the opening Kyle bit make me laugh so hard? "I am....married and he's with the kids. But I'm just trying it out."
