I had a thought the other day that I wondered how much of this increase in shootings is because the right has been pushing the idea for years that the left is going to take your guns. We've seen the increase in gun sales even before this, so is there a chance all that vitriol has lead some people to think 'I better do this now before he takes my guns!' and it turns into a horrible self fulfilling prophecy. Maybe I'm giving shooters and Fox News too much credit.

From the moment Erin comes on this episode, through the end, is perhaps the funniest stuff I've ever heard on Earwolf. Starting with, "do you like subtitles because fat people are crying so hard and maybe have they're face down in the ground" all the way to "these freaks aren't taking work from people"....I was dying. Spot, freaking, on.

On what was, possibly, the worst day of my life....this was a wonderful surprise. Thank you.

That airplane story is equal parts crazy and heartbreaking/warming.

That jewelry commercial with Al GAYore killed me.

The only change I would like to see is when it comes to the commercials. Let Brian off his leash and just let him do the commercials like he normally speaks, and maybe have some of the other guys (Blacky Green) do some reads.

My brother-in-law works within the cartography industry here in Denver. Even though he is a married father of two, he had to endure daily battles with the nearby MMA gym as they hurtle taunts at him. I am so thankful to share with him that there are people out there that understand the separation of maps and sexuality. Thank you. Thank you so much. The tribe has spoken.

My problem in the morning is that my wife is asleep while I try and get them dressed. The screams I can deal with, but I'm so desperate to keep them from waking her up. The food thing is just out of control when you are a parent. Pizza gets ordered so much just because you can't possibly string together enough energy and intelligence to work an oven without blowing up the house. Does anyone else sneak 'good' food at night after kids are down? More than once ours have caught us with ice cream after they have gone to bed, and then gotten back up to see what's up. I can just imagine that this confirms their thoughts about what happens after they go to bed. Mom and dad break out the ice cream and dance and play with toys. Great episode by the way.

Living in Denver I can say honestly, seeing Tebow play in person, he is awful. The only reason he ever had any passing yards was because we had great receivers like Decker who killed themselves to catch the awful passes he threw. Anyway, the NHL labor stoppage has me livid. We're lucky here in Denver now we have a minor league team called the Cutthroats and they seem to be doing pretty well at keeping us sated. Still, I worry that this has killed the NHL. I mean, I'll keep watching when it comes back, but I'm not sure I'll shell out to go to actual games anymore.

It's always unfortunate when the UFC announcers say something like that because a day later it sometimes turns out they aren't so much a freak of nature...as juiced up out of their minds.

I had to turn it off during the DUNK CONTEST....AGAIN! I can't believe all this time later I still lose it when we get to the girl dunking at the end. "I bought a ticket! 'Mom? Mom what are you doing here? How is Sissy going to eat?" The way her voice cracks when she says, "Well I'm going to try." Makes me so f*cking happy every time. "I bought her a circle ticket." "Oh, so around the universe." Dammit. In tears again.

Was it Jake that mentioned how great the fans are on the Earwolf forums? It's pretty true. What I like about us is how quickly we attack negativity. I bring this up only because I was just reading 'Peter Pan' to my girls last night and came across this, from the narrator, and I think it sums up negative comments perfectly. "However, as we are here we may as well stay and look on. That is all we are, lookers-on. Nobody really wants us. So let us watch and say jaggy things, in the hope that some of them will hurt."

Awww! Thanks Jeff for everything you guys do for us. Don't lose any sleep or time with the kiddo over this. I don't think any of us are mad, we just worry that people might miss things with the layout the way it is. You guys are adding so many new shows it is amazing. Congrats on all the expansion. Something like this makes me happy, but not because it is Katz and Tom. I hope that even though the financial rewards of podcasting aren't great, that guys like Randy and Jason get lots of joy out of being able to interact with someone they love like this. I would like to think it recharges their batteries and makes them feel like all of this is worth the effort. We love you guys and love it when you love the guests so much! Keep enjoying it!
