Here's (what I hope is) a constructive suggestion: instead of bringing youtube clips that often take a while to get to the point, why doesn't Aaron, the researcher, bring some published articles (not even academically published, but from Time or Popular Science) instead and summarize them or read the salient points. The gang doesn't need to immediately agree (skepticism makes for some good convo) but it gives a point to base the discussion.
Â
If not, I will still of course listen and enjoy the podcast. Please, someone register just to disagree with me.
Â
I think the idea of Aaron summarizing articles from Popular Science is not just a good idea, it is a GREAT IDEA! At least once, I want to hear what that would sound like. SOOOOO many gulps.

Has anyone else noticed a trend of people saying 'I registered for an account just to....' on the forums of late? Is it a running joke or is society just breaking down?

"I'm not bullying you.....RIGHT?!"

Did anyone else see Matt on 'Burning Love' on Monday? His interaction with TiTi was spectacular.

...just needed an excuse to post this gif

That was the first moment I ran with my computer to show my wife the show. I burst out laughing at the anguish on her face. Just wonderful.

June was so amazing on Burning Love.

My AC has been broken (here in Colorado) for two weeks. It was fixed yesterday for about an hour, then broke again. Between my angry children, my wife who has last all respect for me as a man (not much there to start with I know) and my own inability to sleep through sweating like a monster, I am having a really horrible few days. I finally got up this morning with two options. A) Leave and start a new life somewhere, or Burn down my house.
Â
Instead I downloaded this episode and as close to tears as I was, the first conversation about 'would you have sex with something that was two inches tall', actually had me laughing so hard that I forgot my worries. Thank you guys.

PEPSI IS NOT A THING.
Â
This Pepsi thing is starting to get a little scary.

I love what Scott is doing. He is really going to the roots of comedy of late, and hitting all these angles that are fully out of the mainstream. This is what CBB (and CDR) were all about. Just going for it. The fact that Earwolf is now becoming commercially successful (seriously, think about all the ads and all the things Earwolf stars are now in) but he is going even deeper into the rabbit hole makes me no end of happy. This is brillant.
-
I also like calling them the "Literallies".
-
I loved that from time to time it seemed like Doug just wasn't there. The topics included, "Bigfoot? DIA? Atlantic? The Fountain of Youth? Gold? The Titanic? Mormons?". All truly legendary legends.

I know everytime I get hit in the face by a baseball thrown by a child my first thought is, how is this going to affect my sex life?

HOLY CRAP! This IS A REAL WEB BASED SHOW?? I totally missed all of this and even the comments until today. This is beautiful!

I met Gail Simone this weekend at Denver Comic con. She was super nice. If I had known about this Kulap thing, I would have had her sign my Who Charted shirt.

The Heat won the NBA title. 100% Matt Besser's fault.
-
Oh! And the eHarmony skit was simply wonderful.

Eric was terrific. Like the other guy said, he bought in and went for it. "My show sucks d**k" and just stayed in that frame the whole time. I thought it was freaking hilarious. I notice all the hateful comments are by people with very few comments, so I am going to assume they are all Eric Andre making comments to mock himself.

I have to call out Matt on something. As a lifelong sports fan, he should have known better than to predict that the Heat were 'about to be eliminated'. Not only is it a jinx to say that, but recording it on a podcast that didn't air until well after the series was over, secured that they would win that game and then that series.
Â
I personally blame him if they win the title this year, and for any titles they win going forward.
Â
By the way, another great episode.

This is exactly what the podcast has the potential to be. It is great to have 'experts' on topics, but having people that are great personalities works so well. She was so in sync with you guys and her input was terrific. I thought she really nailed it and I was SHOCKED at how great it was.
Â
But I think one of the reasons it was so great was that Tig was really emotionally invested in this one. When that happens, it seems like everyone on the show responds in kind and it just takes the whole thing to a different level.

I don't know what I can say about this show anymore. It is just so perfect. Growing up near Dallas and being a huge Texas Rangers fan, I almost stop breathing when I heard a Pete Incaviglia reference.
Â
Oh, and again, Dan's timing is so great.
Â
"So let me guess.....best man at your wedding?"

I remember how delighted I was by the gumball scene too! Great episode guys!

Great episode! All of the characters were "on." I'm fighting the urge to post a ton of my favorite one-liners.
Â
What was it about this one? The one-liners were all memorable. Just a terrific episode with a great character interaction. I think the three 'reality' stars were played off each other like nothing I've heard on this show before.

I've shared this episode with more people than usual, because I found the breakdown by Matt about the idea of 'the faceless forum' interesting. The idea that he had someone come in and defend their ideas is something I would like to see well beyond just this message board. Wouldn't it be great if other areas of the internet had this?

Holy sh*t. Freaking Bruce Jenner. His near fourth wall break down of their overexposure had me in stiches.
Episode 34 — Eric the Paid Intern
in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Posted
I think what makes the segments work is that Matt just goes all in. He doesn't pull back in the least and try to spare feelings or be subtle about any of it. "Why is Jeff picking up teenagers from other states?".
Â
If Matt gave Eric any slack, it wouldn't work because we all sort of want him to lay into him, but at the same time there is something so fun about a person who seems to work very hard, but has no interest in the amazing people and events happening around him. It's actually refreshing to think that a total non-comedy-nerd is sitting there watching all of this with no realy attachment or emotion. Where else can you find something like that? I bet that he is actually a God send for Jeff because he isn't being distracted by that pesky fandom that most other interns (as in...all of them) must be having.
