  1.

    Dear Law Dog,

I think I might literally know you in real life, or at least know people who know you. If so, I hope you'll accept my invitation to be friends in real life, which I'm issuing now, via this post. I have waited so long for someone I know in real life, even vaguely, to love this radio program, independent of my urging. Please don't be afraid let's be pals. Ask around I'm very cool.

If it turns out I'm wrong, and I don't know you or anyone in common, then allow me to humbly withdraw my invitation to be friends.

    Fondly,

    Josh

Wow. We just made an incredible IRL connection via Facebook and it felt great. This podcast is helping me get ahead in showbiz already!

  2. Hey everybody, new guy here. I very recently listened to all 96 episodes of the show and I'm glad I caught up before the paywall appeared because I only make $5 a month at my job and I need to use that money on a 5 dollar footlong for my wife and 10 children (we only get to eat one inch each. it's very tough stuff).

Aaaaanyway, this was another wonderful episode, but the real reason I wanted to post is because I was watching Sunday Night Baseball the other night (Sunday) (Go Royals) and color commentator John Kruk was telling a story and he said "My good friend George... Brett" like EXACTLY how Sean and Hayes do it. I know they're big sports heads so I figured they'd appreciate it. Also it raises the possibility that John Kruk is a Hollywood Handbookhead, which is exciting in and of itself.

Anyway glad to finally be part of the forum I've heard so much about! Hi!

P.S. Here is a recent photo of John Kruk for those of you who are not sports heads:

  3. This is one of the most brilliant/fucked-up episodes of CBB ever. I'm really glad I have better earbuds now because if I were listening to the last 20 minutes with my crappy earbuds that leaked sound everywhere, everybody on the bus would think I was a deranged lunatic.

I desperately want somebody who's good at art-drawing to make a picture of PSH and Paul Giamatti as Sonic and Tails.

  4. I do think it would be better as a weekly half-hour podcast where the host and the guest just riff on a series of calls and topics. That way it wouldn't be as noticeable when you revisit a topic.

Agreed. Or even a 45 minute podcast. I really like Andrew Ti's stuff and the guests have obviously been great so far, but the episodes seem to end just as they're building momentum. I'd much rather it be one long, weekly piece where they can get a flow going and really let the conversation take off. And then you'd be able to avoid repetition and have more of a chance to talk about interesting anecdotes (like today's PBS documentary story) and spin off into semi-racism-related stuff like pagers and Space Jam and DEEZ NUTZ.

  5. Ze Frank would be a fantastic guest on CBB, everybody. Especially now that he's starting The Show again.

Esteemed stars such as John Hodgman, Paul Rudd (friend of the show), Jack Black, Jonathan Coulton, and Jack McBrayer all appeared on The Show back in the day, so he's got the appropriate connections.

    MAKE IT HAPPEN SCOTTABOT!

(He'd also be a fantastic guest on Professor Blastoff, by the by.)
