Episode 301 — They're Twins Jonah!
TheLawnWrangler replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
THE YEAR OF BRENDON SMALL APPEARANCES CONTINUES!!!! Victor and Tiny may be one of my favorite recurring characters now, if not only for the fact they have in fact appeared more than once now. (Which is just not enough.) -
I was waiting for ALW to turn into Scott Aukerman near the end there. Either way, fucking crazy. EDIT: NEVERMIND THIS JUST GOT WAY BETTER, THANK YOU WERNER FOR APPEARING. EDIT 2: THIS GOT WEIRD AND ENJOYABLE IN A WAY I NEVER EXPECTED. THANKS FOR THE JAZZ JAZZ REFERENCE. THIS IS AMAZING AND I'M CRYING.

I'm getting emotional. Much like others have posted, "A Worthy Uh...", the Sheriff's first appearance, is one of my favorite episodes, and his return fills me with so much glee.

Episode 271 — Tiny Little Boy Parts
TheLawnWrangler replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
This was a great episode! And Molly was fantastic! I didn't know she was in the Halloween episode- I sadly missed that one. I now have a good reason to listen back! -
I for some reason feel like this is a more frank Jesse Ventura, which makes the character 100x funnier. Maybe it's a sore sounding throat, but still! Kudos to Adomian. Any Adomian episode is a good episode.

Episode 001 — The Wit and Wisdom of the West with Dalton Wilcox

DEAR GOD THIS WAS BRILLIANT! Reminds me of my favorite episodes of Comedy Bang Bang, and Superego at its finest. What an amazing collaboration of comedy minds and characters making something just brilliant. Super funny, and I cannot wait for more from this show. -
Episode 267 — That Wasn’t It (I’m Back) [Hee Hee]
TheLawnWrangler replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Mookie's doing wonders with the Michael Jackson character, and I can't wait to hear him come back. One of my favorite aspects about it is when he puts out an obvious statement about sexuality involving children, and he starts acting overly defensive, even though Scott barely gets on his case. Weird but hilarious dynamic going on there. Also, the Men in Black grilling was pretty brilliant. My favorite thing Scott does for a huge character bit is to question IN DETAIL the characters involved about the weirdest aspects of their story. The Taran Killam and Paul Brittain episode recently is also a good example of this. Makes an episode even more fun! -
Episode 180 — The 2014 Character Extravaganza
TheLawnWrangler replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Sklarbro Country
IT'S HERE! The Character Extravaganza episodes are the absolute best. Cox and Nash need to be on Comedy Bang! Bang! - those guys are masters like Adomian. -
Episode 260 — Tiny Cheeseburger Story
TheLawnWrangler replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Good GOD, Brendon managed to bring the funny. His characters fall under the special category of CBB and other comedy podcast characters that merely on their voice, cadence, and implication can they bring one to tears. Not only was it impressive that he came on as two characters, but the gag between the two was absolutely perfect throughout! Just masterful character work from the dude. I really hope to hear more from him, on a Daly/Adomian/Tompkins like level. So much fun. And great work from Gabrus and Birbiglia! Overall a really great episode! -
He told the story on This American Life as a segment from his very, very good book: "A Bad Idea I'm About To Do."

Episode 238 — Marissa Wompler's Birthday Pool Party LIVE
TheLawnWrangler replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Jeez, Rauch killed it! Surprising yet welcome great job from a first timer! -
Yeah Gethard! He was so great on Improv4Humans, so it's good to see him back visiting the Earwolf family. Maybe he can bring the Human Fish to Comedy Bang! Bang! some time!

Episode 237 — Filipino Blockbuster
TheLawnWrangler replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Eugene's Filipino character was fucking perfect. Thune is always a great presence, but along with Jonah, this episode was just an active home run. Swing Vote. Baseballs.
