Dave Grohl invented music when he first crawled out of the mud and slapped his fins on the ground and was like "dang this is tight I'm gonna play in a band called Nirvana"

Yeah they said they needed a guy that could play that one Blues Traveler song. No one else in the band knew all the chords. I had to quit when Dave Grohl slapped a calculator out of my hand (I was calculating my $-per-chord ratio--pretty nice) and he said I was relying too much on technology or something and that real music came from the heart so I was like "oh yeah??" and I showed him that they have songs on the internet now and he cried and quit the biz

Ouch rough day for Tim Treese. Being asked to move on from the show, my popcorn gallery theme (previously heard on the Grace Helbig ep where she called it "anxiety inducing") gets played instead of his, and now I'm getting big fat google checks from his boss?? I would feel bad for him if my heart weren't so full of joy for myself and my own accomplishments

Listen closely during Tim's call to hear me screening as hard as I can

I hope some casting directors hear me chatting it up loudly outside the studio and recognize that I've got the goods to become a star

I did speak to both of them and at the very least, they were calling from 2 different numbers... though I didn't pay close enough attention to say definitively that they had different voices. Looks like the bear/monster mystery lives on

A few things I wanna say: it was nice talking to everyone and getting to know some of relatively new forum people congrats and great job to anyone that made it on VERY sorry to anyone that didn't make it. hopefully they squeeze you all in next time!! extra apologies to Bruce Reid Robinson II who was actually first in the queue and would have gotten on but I fucked up and accidentally made HIM the call screener so I had to drop him and he fell to the bottom of the list and they didn't get to him. I've been racking my brain trying to think of a way to blame Cody but I have to admit, this one is on me. Sorry buddy. [*]me and Hayes' shirts were sort of similar colors today

Ugh, this is still so hard to wrap my head around. My heart goes out to his friends and family. I'm devastated just as a person who only looked up to him for his jokes and podcast appearances, I can't imagine what kind of grief they are feeling. I may have been the only person in the world to see this moment, so it feels important to share: I saw Harris once in real life. I was waiting in line to see Comedy Bang Bang at the RiotLA festival and he came out of the theater and stood nearby to smoke a cigarette. No one else in line even seemed to notice he was there so I tried to keep my freakout internal, but now I really regret missing my chance to tell him that his jokes were important to me. Anyway, as he was finishing up his cigarette, he pulled out his phone, wrote something really quick and then went back inside the theater again. Minutes later, he came on stage for his Foam Corner and said that he had just written a joke, and proceeded to do his famous bit: "I hate smoking sections. Unless we're talking about The Mask with Jim Carrey, in which case the 'smoking' section is my favorite part." Even though I guess some people would consider it just a dumb little joke, it really felt like I got a personal glimpse at a genius actually creating something special right in front of me. Which is also how it felt to listen to him perform on podcasts. OK that's all The End. Rest in peace, Harris.

Does anyone remember that one time on Reality Show Show where they were talking about their SNL auditions and Sean says that he did his character "Guy Who Can't Believe You Don't Want Ketchup On Your Ice Cream" who says "Aw come on, you're gonna eat it plain??" I still laugh to myself at least twice a week thinking about that moment. Just wanted to share, see ya

PS This show attracts some of the world's best humans and it was a delight meeting all of you/reuniting with Agata, ASteck, Gabe, July, Sam (wonderful people) and of course Hayes and Sean who are even more funny and smart and nice than they say they are on the show

This is all true but I only was talking about my shirt because Hayes pointed at it and said "Did I buy you that?" which I can only assume was more of his fucked up mind games

We actually don't have any candles yet I don't think but I have a feeling there will be many appearing soon. Also yes I will be going. Are you and Tim coming down? I'll have time to kill before the show if IRL hangouts are happening.
