There's a noticeable difference, and while I like both, I'll pick Pepsi every time. This reminds me of the SNL skit with Chris Farley where they spoof the "we switched their regular coffee with..." commercials, ending with him absolutely losing his shit and destroying the place when they tell him.

I was about to turn 13 when TMNT2 came out, and while I was never much of a fan, I feel that I'd about outgrown them (except for the video games), so I wouldn't be surprised if the entire HDTGM crew missed the phenomenon, as Paul and Jason are a little older, and June...well, she's a girl. As far as this film is concerned though, aside from maybe some parents, I don't think ANYONE that went to this or caught it on video around that time didn't already have an idea of what the Turtles' deal was. It's at least a little charming in the way it drops you into things and costumes are still fine. On the other hand, the third film looks like it was brought to you by the tech people behind Chuck E. Cheese and the Rock-a-Fire Explosion. In THAT film, every time a Turtle talks, it looks like his head is about to explode.

That's why I love that scene in "Wet Hot American Summer" so much where Michael Showalter is psyching the kids up for the big game.

She should have at least exploited that space tech, using it to make her the BEST toilet cleaner in the world!

I suggest checking out the "LOL" thread to see how we all helped each other to become better people after collectively experiencing cinematic PTSD.

The more irritating thing is when someone who claims to be a longtime fan goes through the trouble of registering to make one comment and it's to complain about the audio or how everyone's talking over each other in a live episode. If we're LUCKY, they never post again.

Unless there's some sort of enjoyment to be had from a bad movie, like if it's something that would be fun to watch with friends, I'm not big on re-watching them either. It's just that with me, the details of FRUSTRATING movies just seem to haunt me forever, like those kinds of movies where absolutely nothing matters and you're ten steps ahead of the characters the entire time where you're looking for ANYTHING to keep your attention. That's when I start to notice "Hey, how does this cat manage to get stuck in EVERY cupboard and closet in this house, allowing for a cheap jump scare every five minutes when it comes diving out at the babysitter?". Jesus Christ, if they ever tackle that remake of "When A Stranger Calls"...

I don't care about the "Star Wars" comparisons, I just wish the gang would talk about fuckin' "Krull" already.

The second one also lacks Sam Rockwell, which knocks the credibility down a notch to 2015 me!

I think Chris Jericho, who appears in the film and has his own podcast, would be a fun guest if the regular "Sharknado" crew can't be assembled. Or even just for a mini ep or something.

I loved Kimmy Schmidt, but I don't remember that line off the top of my head. I do hope though that they explore the dangers of Hulkamania further in season two.

GUYS. I just turned my TV on with the intention of watching something else, but SVU was on, and a 12-year-old kid was getting locked up, a Rabbi was saying something to Chris Meloni, AND I DON'T KNOW WHY. Turns out that the kid is being accused of rape. I know, right? Anyway, TV is being blamed, as when he's asked in court what he likes to watch, he says "I watch whatever's on, but I really like the ten o'clock stuff, on cable. The women look really good and there's sex, and they really like being banged behind dumpsters" or something along those lines. But before and after that, they're all "He's just a stupid fucking kid, doesn't know the difference between what's real and what's on TV, so he thinks it's okay to stick his dick in anything he wants. If only he'd watch SVU, which is 100% accurate in it's portrayal of controversial issues...". Okay, they've come to an agreement that the media didn't brainwash the kid into raping the four OTHER kids. Also, there's a plug for Jenna Jameson's book. This fuckin' show...

Remember though, these are the guys (well...) that in "The Matrix" just plugged Keanu into a computer and went "There. Now you know everything. Let's go kick stuff".

I thought she was fine in "Ted" as the girlfriend that's tired of her boyfriend always hanging out with his asshole best friend that refuses to grow up.

Yeah, it's kind of weird when you hear multiple pronunciations of someone's name that isn't known for having a name that you don't hear much. I mean, she does all the talk shows and a press and stuff, she's talked about frequently, so you don't think there'd be any confusion. It's not like she's some hockey player from the Ukraine whose name you never hear out loud. That reminds me of when I've met different comic artists and writers and stuff, because those guys get NO press, and you think you have an idea of how to say their names after seeing them in writing for so many years, but then you hear them say it at a show or something that they're a guest at, and you find out that everything you thought you've taught yourself is a LIE.

They missed another "Super Mario Brothers" comparison when theorizing that they were using baths (going down the pipe perhaps?) to transport between worlds...

Having to figure out all that math is why I couldn't even finish the first level of the official video game. Worst/closest adaptation EVER...

This reminds me of what I think may have been the most egregious "no one's gonna fuckin' care" use of this that I've ever personally seen, which was the Jackie Chan movie "Mr. Nice Guy". In it, there's a hidden camera inside a wall or something that no one in the movie is supposed to see. Bad things happen, someone gets killed or something, and someone runs off with the tape. Later, they're watching it, and it's the fully edited scene, from a camera that was basically set up to see through a hole in the wall. Great stuff.

I'm only at the part where they're talking about how the actors must have been sold on just the storyboards, and it reminded me of "Jodorowsky's Dune", which I highly recommend! It's really entertaining and it makes you think about all the things that might NOT have happened if it had ever been made, as when it fell apart, the "Dune" team basically moved on to make a DIFFERENT super influential film.

It should have been even MORE on the nose and had the time actually be 3:16 as well. I think I made it about 15-20 minutes in. The plane looked like a set that you'd see in a sitcom, where you know with one million percent certainty that it's not a real plane. I'd seen other parts of the film during it's theatrical run at my theater, but I don't think I'm going to bother picking up where I left off.

Sounds familiar, doesn't it? Take that, add a quarter of a century, and you've got the never-to-be-made "Ghostbusters 3". I'm not going to make my mind up until we get to hear from Ernie Hudson though...
