  1. That guard was also one of the very first signs that got me thinking "Oooohhhhh, so THAT'S the kind of world we're going to be in now...".

    razzie time

I read that as "50 Shades of Pixels". That's some "Custer's Revenge" shit right there...

That's the thing with cons, and they kind of get into that, like what kind of guests do well at which shows. A high B-level horror guy could kill it at a horror con, but nobody might give a shit at a comic or sci-fi show. You would THINK that being set up by the big guest would be good because of all the traffic that it generates, but it could totally backfire, with you instead having to sit there uncomfortably while you're surrounded by people that just don't give a shit who you are.

Top 10-15 Movies of the Year

Those horror documentaries are almost a genre in and of themselves now, and they sort of retroactively add new layers of entertainment to those original movies. It's funny to hear the stories, especially from people that barely or never worked again about working on those things that thought they were really going to make it, because in some cases you can see where they were really swinging for the fences or at least THOUGHT they were. I guess it just wasn't your time, "fourth guy to get machete'd in the back in Friday the 13th Part 7". There's also a lot of crossover between the different docs too, as I remember seeing some people in "Never Sleep Again" that were like "This was the greatest thing ever! Greatest moment of my life! I love doing appearances!" about being killed in Part 5 or whatever that then look completely embarrassed to be at the conventions when the dad from "Troll 2", who found success outside of movies, starts ribbing them on it in "Best Worst Movie". Oh, speaking of meeting actors and top movies of the year, I haven't seen it yet, but I met an HDTGM alum while working on "Concussion"... ...right after he did this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nc_mZ23-WJQ Seemed like a pretty good dude. Cheap plug: Feel free to subscribe to my channel on YouTube if you'd like. I work on a lot of independent wrestling shows as a cameraman and then also link to other projects I'm associated with, such as a web series I work on that features some girls that used to be on "Dance Moms". Man, I'll bet that those are watched by the WRONG people...

    Episode 127 - Kazaam: LIVE!

If we were to believe him, wouldn't it still be pretty unbelievable that his LAST name seems to be something that he picked that he clearly wasn't born with?

My theater finally got "The Big Short", and that was pretty great.

    Zombie Beast of the Confederacy

Please just check out the trailer. I know most of the people involved with this film, including the guy that made it, and trust me, he treats it as serious as a heart attack. It's a movie made by and starring adults (most of whom are great folks that I HOPE were just having fun with it) that appears to have been written by me in the third grade back in 1986.

    Zombie Beast of the Confederacy

Oh, it's COMPLETELY inept, and like I said, I swear it looks like something I would have imagined as a child that watched too much "GI Joe", where I'm just going to take everything I know that's bad and mix it into one big stew. Vietnam, swastikas, and Confederate soldiers? Eh, why the fuck not?! And every jungle or forest on Earth looks like the woods behind my house, right? Some of the people IN the film are pretty cool and knew what they were getting into, but the ones that actually crafted it are a little out there. Good for them for making some...thing, but DAMN. Let me see if I can find the trailers for their other films...

    Episode 127 - Kazaam: LIVE!

Has Shaq ever campaigned for anyone running for public office? If so, I guess you could call that a pretty bad endorsement. *crickets*

    47 Ronin (2013)

Oh, and speaking of taking liberties with the Civil War, here's a film that was recently made by some people that I know. It's a real thing...

So Keanu was fighting John Carpenter's The Thing?

    Episode 127 - Kazaam: LIVE!

Leprechaun by a MILE. He's got a better flow and he keeps it simple! Shaq is hopeless out there and sounds like he has no idea where he's going or what the rhyme is going to be.

    Episode 127 - Kazaam: LIVE!

No, I meant what happened in regards to Starsky's film directing career. It went from the greatness of "Running Man" to family stuff, as it was followed by "The Cutting Edge", "The Air Up There", and then "Kazaam".

HDTGM movies and their RT scores

Yeah, on Netflix, there's a lot of "Because you watched...", but if Netflix was really paying attention, they'd notice I'd only watched about ten minutes of that.

    No "Jacob's Ladder"?!?

    Episode 127 - Kazaam: LIVE!

Starsky also directed "The Running Man" before going on to more family-friendly fare. What the hell happened?

    Episode 127 - Kazaam: LIVE!

According to IMDB, Efren Ramirez, ALSO of the "Crank" films, appeared in "Kazaam" as well as a character named "Carlos"

    Episode 127 - Kazaam: LIVE!

If Jesus was a genie too, does that mean that Kazaam was ALSO created by the "Prometheus" Engineers, and is it HIS death that they were going to return to Earth to avenge before Idris Elba made the ship crash on takeoff?

I just saw "The Revenant", and it was pretty good. It probably knocks something off my list, just not sure what.

    Episode 126.5 - Minisode 126.5

Really, guys? No love for Lobot? Am I the only one with a soft spot in my hard spot for Lo'? Sure, when you're Lando's wingman, I can see how you can be overshadowed, because THAT guy gets more 'tang than Neil Armstrong.

    Episode 126.5 - Minisode 126.5

Is liking "Wolf of Wall Street" really the least bit controversial? I understand some people didn't care for it , but a lot of the ones that outright hated it didn't seem to know what they were getting into and blamed the movie for their lack of knowledge instead of themselves for not making an educated decision. I get that at work alllllll the time. What? You based your moviegoing decision on what you were LEAST late for and were surprised that it wasn't something you liked? That happens more than it should.

EPISODE 126 - The Star Wars Holiday Special

Chewbacca is a MUCH more intelligible rapper, I'm sure. He also knows what a HAMMER does.
