I'm not sure if this has been posted before, apologies if it has, but here's a clip from a documentary about people who form sexual and emotional bonds with inanimate objects. It's called 'objectum sexuality' The first clip is particularly interesting because it seems to feature a shaved-headed Patton Oswald. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GyOeJ8bo6g -
Episode 113 — Non-Descript Hole
Foltaire replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
What a great episode! 'Who other better to know' had me in tears. -
I enjoy all of these people!

TAKE SHOES AFF!

Holy ghost! I was so excited about the new Analyze Phish, I didn't even consider the possibility of a b-b-b-bonus episode, let alone one with these two comedy geniuses! You're too good to us, Earwolf.

On an qualitative basis, this might be the best podcast of all time. Every single episode has made me giddy. Even the musical interludes (especially that 'flagon of rice' song) are perfect. It's like Phish were expressly created to elicit articulate disdain. I could listen to Aukerman (or his worthy stand-in Tom) pour steaming buckets of scorn on those sonic train-wrecks all day long. Every clownish lyricism is a punch line, every frat-house riff is a pratfall. Meanwhile, and best of all, Harris seems resignedly aware of the band's absurdity to anyone on the outside. It's just fucking good. Also, I'm on my phone, but whoever suggested Zouks and Besser for future guests: I totally agree.

I don't know if this'll work, format-wise, but I certainly enjoyed it. -
Holy shit, Tim's Frosty the Snowman at the end.

Schindler's Lift. -
Five minutes in, I'm already crying with laughter. 'At-eam'.

I genuinely can't remember an episode this year which hasn't been great and now there's one with my favourite guest. I want to host a glitzy awards night and give all the prizes to Earwolf.
-
I just woke up and saw today's guest lineup. CBB, you're the best. In fact, I genuinely don't think this podcast could be any better. Awesome.

I have a poster of a glass of milk on my wall.

Episode 252 — The Creeeeeeepy Halloween Special
Foltaire replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Just listened for the second time: what a stellar episode! Last year's Suicide House was easily in my top three CBB's of all time, so it's not fair to compare, but this one had me guffawing like a fool. Dykeula was absolutely incredible, Rusty was predictably hilarious and Monster Fuck III had me rolling in the Rizzoli and aisles. All things considered, best year of Bang Bang ever. -
Oh, man! The Pee-Wee/Halloween episode was so good! I was smiling like a goofball the whole time. Thank goodness the show got a third season. It's the cat's meow. P.S. Scott's 'pretty woman' impression: transcendent.
-
A tiny, optimistic part of my mind thought we might get a b-b-b-bonus episode with Tim, Eric and Zach Galifianakis ahead of their Halloween special. Sadly, no such luck.

I got so excited when I heard that! Analyze Phish is the best. "Larry's the name, insurance is my game! Raping was another game of mine..."

Episode 252 — The Creeeeeeepy Halloween Special

I'm still looking forward to listening, of course. -
Not very original, but I've got a hankering for another Tim Heidecker appearance.

The anti-socialist in me gets (ba)rock hard whenever Aukerman launches into one of his scathing attacks on Obamacare. Also, while this was a fantastic episode, I was sorely disappointed by Scott's failure to jump into Borat during the wife/sister confusion. It seemed like an impossibly-apt opportunity for a Sascha Booboo Gooboo impression.

Like everyone's saying, 2013 is probably the year of the Sanz. Every year is Paul F. Tompkins year. He's timeless.

Yeah, that makes sense. I hadn't listened to any Nerdist podcasts before and I wasn't aware that either of the Matts were really affiliated with the network.
-
I was listening to the first episode of James Bonding, with Matt Gourley and Matt Mira (featuring PFT), and Jack Lord's Dr. No contract came up. From there, one of the Matt's segued into discussing the profitability (or otherwise) of podcasts and then - jokingly - said that somehow, at some point "Scott Aukerman gets a cheque". I know the show's part of the Nerdist network now, but I was wondering whether this indicated that it was originally intended for Earwolf, or if it was just a mistake. Dr. No was the first episode, so I thought it might've been a sort of podcast 'pilot' which ended up moving elsewhere. Also, I've not listened to any other episodes, so they might've already explained the situation. Thanks!
