- You gotta stay right where you are: in Bilmingham, Washington. - Bellingham. - Bilmingham. I've only gotten this far, but I had to take a break at this point to say how much Scott's stubbornness made me laugh. I've got tears in my eyes. So glad this show is back. Almost unbeatable.

That's odd, I was just coming here to mention how great Scott's been recently. He's always been a good host, but now almost every episode guarantees as much hilarity as a top-tier guest (PFT, Heidecker, Daly, etc.) spot used to. I'd be gutted if Aukerman decided to take a dry, shrunken (poison ivy) leaf out of Maron's book. I just wish he'd do more in-character appearances on other shows. His Ben Franklin on The Dead Author's Podcast had me in tears.

What a great episode! And I'm totally hooked on the overarching narrative. Soulless imposter women implanted throughout the universe — like a mysogynist with Capgras Syndrome's worst nightmare!

I just found out Scott wrote, or had a major hand in writing, Monk Academy, The Story of the Story of Everest and Josh Fenderman — three of my top five Mr. Show sketches of all time. What a guy!

Unfortunately, I was on a long bus journey home (from the hospital) today and my iPhone died. Fortunately, I searched my backpack and found the iPod Shuffle I used to listen to while running - with some battery life left! Unfortunately, I've since given up running and ballooned horrendously. Fortunately, this episode was on that iPod Shuffle! Unfortunately, I'd forgotten that Dave Foley doesn't turn up, which was pretty disappointing. Fortunately, the episode is still enjoyable and I watched a load of Kids in the Hall when I got home.

Just about to start listening. My perfectly reasonable expectations for this episode - 1) Vin Diesel is going to turn up, assuming the role of 'pussy-face gas-planet inhabitant #6' (no lines) 2) Stargoyle will be shoved into a small, inescapable box by Amarth. Contained, it'll then be thrown down into the hellish bowels of the gas planet. Brian will immediately level-up for doing the universe a great service. 3) Tras, having unexpectedly made it out of the collector base alive, will return to the adventure, pulling himself - commando style - arm over arm onto one of the floating habitations. Brief awkwardness ensues, but he asserts himself as undisputed leader of the group shortly thereafter. They spend the rest of the episode building a monument to Carn. I can't wait to hear how much I got right!

Video's up! Scott and Paul - whatever incarnation - have ridiculously entertaining chemistry together.

"I'm in love, I'm in love, I'm in love, I'm in love... That's right, I'm in love! Not with Kulap..." Aukerman's advertisements are the greatest. He should be a star on that Harry's World: Mad Men with Juan Hammon.

"You're shit out of luck, it's just skeletons in there!" Early days, but this might end up being my favourite episode of the year.

In the future, 'Comedy Bang Bang 2013' is going to be the podcast equivalent of the 'Domaine Romaneee Conti 1997'. Cake be praised for this year of vintage japery!
