Nocando's intro about not wanting to hang out with rappers reminded me of Pack FM's "I Fucking Hate Rappers."

No comments? Black Milk is one of the best producers out, keep up the good work.

Eli Manning's rap career is apparently one and done. -

The most Howard thing Howard could do in this situation was to have Armen fill in for him. Well played, Kremer, well played. -
No one pays attention to ecology? Oh mercy mercy me.

Episode 140 — Scotty Boy, My Special Boy

I just about lost it at the "Y'know, I love pussy" a few minutes in. -

Name a broad genre where 99% of what people make isn't bad. -
Episode 15 — Amy Poehler

I think this podcast has the highest slugging percentage of any podcast on the internet. I also found some amusing irony in hearing poop described as "never not funny," given Jimmy Pardo's famous hatred of such humor. -
Episode 200 — Republican Party Float
DanielSwinney replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Yo, Is This Racist?
I haven't listened to this episode but I assume it has to do with pouring a bunch of right-wing politicians into a glass and topping them with ice cream. -
Dudes, get Fireball Whiskey to sponsor the show and make it a requirement that to Fire a Shot on the hotline you have to first take a Shot of Fire. Bam.

I drink a lot of Bacardi.

Episode 37 — Magna Carta...Holy Shots Fired!

Blueprint 3 is fucking awesome to dick around with keyboards over -
Actually, at one point I was a die-hard Jay-Z fan but I find it so hard to get excited about his new output that I haven't even listened to MCHG yet (and I defended Blueprint 3 a LOT.) That doesn't mean I'm not still going back and bumping Reasonable Doubt. Killer Mike, Underachievers, Doppelgangaz, Captain Murphy and a lot of others are making hip-hop that is both "more interesting" and also catchier as music to me these days. And Just Blaze (the best producer Jay-Z ever had, including Kanye) is producing the next Slaughtahouse album, so no way am I going to miss Royce over Just Blaze beats. That said, you shouldn't NEED a mash-up to listen to the Black Album, because that shit is still awesome, but some of the remix versions were really good (Danger Mouse's wasn't my favorite. DJ Kno had a great one.) Oh and I expected to hate that Mac Miller album but I don't.

If I got to improvise with Maria Bamford I would feel my life's existence had been validated. -
Episode 182 — Has Multiculturalism Failed?
DanielSwinney replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Yo, Is This Racist?
Yeah, I'm not sure what people who think multiculturalism has failed think the solution is... Maybe a country draft like the race draft on Chappelle's Show? "And with the third pick, the Japanese have selected... Brazil!" Maybe just humanity has failed? -
Episode 11 — Tig Notaro

This was a great one. Foreign Land guy, hobos at Marshall's, Hot 40 on a Pumpkin, all brilliant. -
Since this episode made me think about awesome internet rap videos with hot girls cleaning (kinda) apartments... http://vimeo.com/58736610 NSFW #FREEREESE

Esham was definitely an influence on Em. From "Still Don't Give a Fuck": From the second I was born my mama lost me. I'm a cross between Manson, Esham and Ozzy.

I'm not sure what gilding the lily means, but burying the lead refers to telling a story without starting with the most important/interesting fact. -
Episode 61 — Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot
DanielSwinney replied to admin's topic in How Did This Get Made?
BTW, I do like the episode, I just thought it was weird how shocked June was by the gun stuff. She's like a year older than me and I haven't forgotten enough about this time period of movies to be even remotely surprised about Estelle Getty pointing a gun at someone's face. -
Episode 61 — Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot
DanielSwinney replied to admin's topic in How Did This Get Made?
Nothing they're describing in the first few minutes sounds scary or disturbing to me. Gonzo toughness and disregard to violence is not some unique thing to this movie. -

This episode is so good they made it the front page of earwolf apparently. -
