Episode 74 — Kumail Nanjiani, Our Close Friend
DanEngler replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
After trying four different medications over the course of a year—which were ineffective at best and, in one case, utterly ruined my life for three months—my strongest recommendation is exercise. Even if it's only walking for 20 minutes a day, exercise is a remarkably effective mood stabilizer, and the side effects (losing weight, gaining muscle mass, greater stamina) are all positive. -
Thanks for reporting these issues! The Earwolves have fixed both feeds, but there may be a short delay until the fixes reach iTunes.

My favorite Speakeasy moment is when Pablo Schreiber spends the entire conversation breaking the record for most drinks consumed during an episode of Speakeasy, and a completely sober Paul then refers to him by his brother's name, Liev.

When Sklarbro County debuted it was, like Two Charted, a second weekly show with just the hosts (and Dan Van Kirk) discussing weird stories in the news instead of sports. Within a few weeks, they began booking guests and loosened up the format.

Correction: I created the account* and transferred control to Lauren, though she has yet to start tweeting with it. * To preclude the jerks who often register the fake domains/Twitter accounts mentioned on CBB to promote their own podcasts

Respect? Respect is for you pitiful mortals. I am a god. For example, you have just been demoted…to #2 Handsome Boy! -
They're probably waiting to appear on another Earwolf or Wolfpop podcast. We've witnessed Steve Agee and Leonard Maltin just hanging out on the Comedy Couch before.

Sean and Hayes better keep LegalZoom on retainer, because they're about to get sued for patent infringement. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHIOD67PKCY -
I used to think I was Pansexual, until I realized I'm only attracted to the goat half.

Is today Christmas morning, because this episode is up there with the best CBB holiday specials! I don't care for the two interns Scott had on during the ad reads, though. He should stick with Engineer Cody Cody.

No worries! Apparently (this is news to me), members must receive a certain number of Likes on their posts before they're able to edit their member title. I don't know what the exact threshold is, though, so just stick around and it'll appear sooner or later.

I was just listening to the Nerdist hosts talk about Harris (MP3) when a eulogy published by his sister Stephanie appeared in my feeds.

Episode 8 - Into the Singularity
DanEngler replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Hooray Show with Horatio
As soon as Horatio mentioned wax animals, I was catapulted back in time to childhood visits to Brookfield Zoo, where those machines churned out burning-crayon fumes the same way Subway pumps rancid-bleach "bread" smell into the atmosphere. Then I remembered Raj's Chicago roots and…duh. Anyone who knows Milana exclusively as "the AT&T girl" should check out her comedy work, most notably in Live Prude Girls. She's fantastic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3oXmqw22XE -

Has Scott used the phrase "amorphous blob" every time Weird Al has been a guest for Would You Rather? The first resulted in one of my all-time favorite CBB moments. (Starts at 55:35.)

EPISODE 336 — NOT Farts and Procreation 4
DanEngler replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Harris would chastise you for erroneously calling this a humblebrag. -
Episode 1603 - Jen Kirkman
DanEngler replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
Thanks for the info. I agree that their social circles probably didn't overlap much, but in the times I heard Harris mentioned on the show, it was with the same Faux-Angry Dad tone Jimmy reserves for Scott Aukerman or Paul F. Tompkins or…well, pretty much everyone else he likes. I don't fault the NNF crew for not discussing it; I just wondered if they had any interesting Harris stories I'm missing by not (yet) subscribing the Players' Club. -

Episode 1603 - Jen Kirkman
DanEngler replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
Question for Players' Club members: Did they discuss Harris Wittels at all on this week's exclusive episode? I've been re-listening to some older NNFs and Jimmy seemed fond of Harris, so it's somewhat odd to not hear his passing acknowledged on this week's (free) show.
