Episode 23 β Kevin Pollak's Chat Show Sizzle Reel
DanEngler replied to admin's topic in Earwolf Presents
Neither had I, but a firm googling reveals that the company that had been providing support for KPCS decided to get out of the podcasting business. Kevin seems to have a long-standing friendship with Jeff and Scott, and Earwolf has all of the necessary infrastructure in place (hosting, live streaming, advertising), so this seems like a perfect fit. -
Episode 57 β From Justin To Kelly: LIVE!

Is that stifled Paul F. Tompkins laughter I hear at 01:06? Does this mean Paul is always lurking in the wings at Largo, like some sort of...Phantom? -
Humans! I4H is LIVE on YouTube RIGHT NOW!
DanEngler replied to Shannon's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
One of these days, LA traffic is going to be so bad that none of the guests are going to show, and Besser will have no choice but to do a live stream with Jake Fogelnest, Julia, and Murray, the maintenance guy at Earwolf's offices. -
Still better than "Analyze Circus Peanuts".

"Grounded beef"? I'm going to have revoke your Improv Card, Scott. -
Funny you heard it at the optometrist. It's Billy Idol's " ".
-
According to Jeff, Earwolf was asked to remove it and complied.

Counterexample: The guy who registered http://spookyguyz.com the day after it was referenced in Return to Suicide House, presumably to drive traffic to his weak-ass comic book podcast.

From the other end of the cinematic spectrum, The Incredible Mr. Limpet. Think of all the Don Knotts impressions!

It depends on how you watched the show. The original (broadcast) episodes were rife with great music, but the DVDs reportedly had many segments altered or dropped altogether due to music licensing issues.

Some of us enjoy seeing how the bread is made. (That's a saying, right?)

I'm currently in the throes of a nasty cold, and David's Dick-Vitale-on-PCP bit made me laugh/cough so hard I nearly died.

My sole mandate as moderator is to delete spam when Shannon and Julia aren't around, so it wouldn't have made any difference to me. Constructive criticism is welcome in any discussion. At a time when MTV had abandoned any pretense of playing music, Jackass was introducing kids (myself included) to The Minutemen, The Misfits, The Ramones, X-Ray Spex, et al. And was funny to boot.

You deserve some sort of medal for this, Tinnitus. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-WHW-QNswE

I thought it was a marked departure from the usual Whooch format, with more Real Talkβ’ and less LA comedy inside baseball, but Howard and Ku seemed to enjoy the ride. I get how Steve-O can be grating to some β I was a huge Jackass/cKy fan from day one, and he was never my favorite member β but he seems like a nice guy and the howls of disapproval in the other thread were overboard. Especially since the handful of people complaining loudest had a total of ~15 forum posts between them. I feel compelled to question the motives of anyone who registers an account just to shit on something.

I wonder how everyone decrying this week's Whooch as the Worst Episode Ever will handle the news that Kulap and Howard enjoyed it so much they created a B-B-B-BONUS-S-S-S Chart on the fly, listing the parallels between Howard and Steve-O. Compare this with the Tooch following Chris Gore's appearance, where they said literally nothing about him beyond the fact that he appeared on the show.

Episode 65 β Computer Strength

I'm 99% sure the Bucket of Truth will come into play before the season ends. -
Episode 65 β Computer Strength

Is anyone else watching the latest season of Justified? The first few episodes include a preacher that sounds just like a Comedy Central-era Besser character. It's uncanny. Edit: I've just learned that said character is played by the kid from Jurassic Park. Christ, I feel old⦠-
I accept this gracious apology and I award you 415 points, which means you are now in the lead with -3 points.

Loved this episode! Amy Phillips knocks it out of the park every time she appears on the show. If Jeff Mangum heard you say that, he would rightly smash a guitar over your head, and retire to his cave somewhere in the Adirondacks to brood for another 15 years.

CBB (and all Earwolf?) VIDEO PODCASTS!! (this is actual news, not a suggestion!)
DanEngler replied to johnnyhaggis's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
I don't recall it buffering it all last week, or during any of the shows from Sundance for that matter. -
Whereas I didn't get the impression that Mr. Tompkins was being particularly in his response.

Thank you for being a friend, travel down the road and back again...

If you, like me, were led to believe there would be a follow-up to this episode, Mr. Tompkins has apparently dispelled that notion on Twitter: The clench remains, but the heart is broken.
