  1. Stard, I say in the future if it seems a movie/TV show plot point has been spoiled, pop in a quick Kulap: "Chart Spoiler" audio clip so people know to skip ahead a few times so as to not get mildly upset, voice their upsetness, and then get massively bitched out by total bitch bitches in the forums for no damn reason

I've never seen you before and you're giving me production notes and talking shit in the same sentence. I'll do what I want!

Please don't talk about the people here that way. I edited the episode already, it's over. You can still see Affleck's dong unspoiled. Oh whoops, spoiler.

  2. We need help with the following:

    1. A camera operator/assistant to come down to the shoot

    2. Someone good at rigging GoPros and willing to get in the water

    3. Someone who could make a design for a Shredstauraunt sign and a Gu Cruise business sign and any other ones you come up with, then make full sized signs and help get them down to location. These would need to be seen and approved in advance, so very time sensitive.

The shoot is THIS SATURDAY, November 15th at a location in or near LA.

Email whocharted@earwolf.com with the subject "Gu Cruise video" and let us know who you are and what you can do.

    We can't wait!

  3. The people at http://elevr.com/ have done some great research into 360 VR capture and have some information on solutions that range in all sorts of prices. They also have recorded a talkshow/podcast of their own where you can sit as a 'guest' if you have a Oculus Rift, so it's a neat way to test it out if you have access to one.

As far as maintenance it would seem, once it is set-up, all it would require is turning it on, stitching the video after the show is over (a drag and drop process), and add an appropriate fade to black whenever the host or guests want a pause or to read an ad.

Right. Then there's publishing, file management, etc. You gotta realize even simple things like that can become a bottleneck process and needs dedicated staff when you're moving as fast and with as much volume as we are.

  4. Unironically, consider a 3D 360 camera and place it in a corner for virtual reality footage as they become available next year. I would defo pay for a 'premium' video version where I actually feel like a guest in the studio.

That would be awesome. I feel like low maintenance solutions like this would be the best scenarios. Don't take anything here as official word though, please.
